When you take songs like death of piece of mine or like a villain and.. THIS it's hard to believe that's the same band 😂 I like their versatility. That one is really heavy, but got a vibe that makes you keep going🔥
Took me a while to get into this song but once I got, I can't get enough of it 😅 You should really check out the live version, Noah's vocals are something else, I swear.
Also, best part about the music video is that they literally shot it at their house in their dining room and that the speaker they light on fire in the begging apparently still works 😂

My first introduction to the band was the unplugged version of their song Careful What You Wish For which is so melodic and more of a sad tone. Versus as I started to go through their discography and was like “damn these boys are angry 😂”. But I enjoy all aspects of Bad Omens 🤍 thanks for your reactions!

The story behind this song is a sad one. From what I’ve heard (he seldom talks about his personal life) but he was the sole survivor of a car crash. He mentioned it in an interview very briefly. His dad died and I believe his mother died early in his life too.

I don’t remember - I went down the Noah Sebastian rabbit hole since there’s not much about him out there. He’s super private and just does not talk about his private life. I was trying to look for a link, but I couldn’t find it. It was in a UA-cam video where a fan was asking him questions super fast and then another time he mentions it quickly in another interview briefly and doesn’t go deeper than that. I happen to accidentally stumble upon where he mentions it. If I ever find it I’ll link it here tho!
i think it was just his father. he didn’t reference his mom in the song
@@majinally3527 if you reread my comment, I only mentioned his father in the car crash. His mother passed away either earlier or later in his life, not in the crash.
Just saw them a week ago and they literally sound just like the album live . Was so disappointed they was just the opening but seen they doing their own headline tour with dayseeker so gotta get to that later this year

I was afraid of Dethrone and its video, initially. I was sad that my sweet, bad(diecore) Omens were THIS HEAVY LIKE DEATHCORE (?), I was genuinely sad! 😭 BUT later (even during the song probably), it grew on me and I started loving ittt, and now I play it (the LIVE version!) every day! 🔥 Dethrone made me like heavier music and deathcore and now I can listen to even Lorna Shore and Infant Annihilator 😀😁
We all warned you in the comments on Artificial Suicide that “Dethrone” is their heaviest song 😅 This was from their last album which was a mix between heavy and melodic songs… The Death of Peace of Mind is much more melodic with a lot more dark pop/industrial/goth/electronic & hard rock rather than full on heavy metal. Well done for making it through this video though! Bad Omens are my favourite band and this gets me hyped to kick ass!

Love it! It took me a long time to get into this song, but I’m really glad I gave it as many shots as I did. After a few listens I really picked up on the “bounce” that you picked up on so soon - even found that feeling in the verses, especially the second one.

This is the track that they have been ending their live shows with. It’s definitely the heaviest track in their arsenal so far but shows some of the range they have. If you’re interested to see the other end of the spectrum, check out Bad Decisions, somebody else, just pretend.

Dude, you should really check out some music by Crystal Lake. They’re a Japanese band that has a similar sound to Bad Omens, at least in my opinion. I LOVE Bad Omens, but Crystal Lake is on another level.
“Aeon” is their heavy one, but “Apollo” is one of my faves. “Apollo” as features a rap-like section that I know you’ll appreciate.
Oh, and be sure to check out the “unplugged” songs by Bad Omens. Their acoustic stuff is absolutely phenomenal.
