The car has aged gracefully and after a few minor facelifts, it has grown a moustache for a more mature look! I actually quite like the look of the front end, and the new wheel design.

4:30 they give engine hood insulation this time which were not included previously but removed the engine cover (same case in JP) not sure why tho
Maybe they thought the hood insulator is more worth it than the engine cover. Actually it is better without engine plastic cover because you can see if there is any oil leak cover
oh man it looks pretty good even this current generation has been around since 2015 it's still looks stunner even in a second facelift 😍💖

is it still a good car to buy? plan to buy used 2016/2017 model. Currently using x50, too big & fuel consumption kinda high
@@azizi__ do you need a lot of space? If not, I'd go for it. Mazda 3 sedan (new and used) is also a good purchase with all things considered.
@@azizi__ yeah it is. Full tank can go like 600+ with less traffic. Downside is the space, the back seat area is small and so is the boot space.

If you want a car you take the Mazda 2: if you want a SUV you take the CX3. Both are built on the same platform, and you choose what you lime.

Mazda is towards premium and handling , go to other B segment you compare the interior
personally the front bumper doesn't look that good for me but overall a very good looking car
what really is worrying with mazda cars is that they generate rust easily in about 2 or 3 years. not sure about those in Malaysia, but alot of owners in west keep complain about this issue. what i dont like about this car tho, is the value. with that price, they still not able to include center console and electronic parking brakes. at 1st i thought, wow, 4 disc brakes, should have electronic parking brakes.. but, nope... and too bad, no center console means no usb ports for rear passengers. oh well, what a bummer

@@ranceng6560 Thats why on other comment I recommended with the M3 which offer 7 airbags instead. Not to mentioned everything is way superior. Regardless if we are driving recklessly and speed above 200 km/h 20 airbags also cant save us

Personally if you can afford Mazda 2 full spec, why not just top up another 40-50k for a Mazda 3 sedan or liftback? The ride not just superior but the overall internal & external is better

the real automatic transmission on its own would sell me this car. this car is completely forgotten in europe due to its emissions and its being replaced by... rebadged toyota yaris/vitz that is also called the mazda2

People who drive Mazda doesnt care about space or practicality. Is all about the driving experienced, feedback, handling of the car, etc...They may hv a normal SUV as a working car but such car they may used it as a weekend car to enjoy especially around the mountain area..
