Mine has a no probleng on shifting each gear.. But hard to get out only on the 5th and reverse gear.. I mean i can easily insert 5th gear,but so hard to go back on any gears

I need help on removing a 1991 4a-fe transmission from the engine, i cant see any bolts holding the trans in place but it doesnt come off… is there some hiding or different types of bolts that are keeping it from moving?

Hello! I would like to ask for advice. I recently had the transmission replaced in my 1999 Corolla and since then there has been a noise coming from the engine compartment and less power than before. Maybe you have an idea what this could be? Could it happen that the gearbox of a 98 hp engine was installed in the 86 hp engine? I would welcome any comments from you!
when i switch to 3rd gear its like its not sliding properly not smooth as other gears, what could be the problem? there is no abnormal sound, its just it feels like somthing is hindering form it to shift.
My 95 will only lock into the top gears 1-3-5 the bottom gears 2-4-R don't work at all or lock in place unless I get out of the car and do it under the hood I can't seem to find any information on how to fix this or what the problem even is

@@blueboykevs the shift linkage/cable was worn and just poking out the side when I tried to shift into my down gears, the part was discontinued at Toyota and no aftermarket options I ended up literally fixing it with electrical tape and Souder it was a pain in the a$$ but it worked till the motor give out lasted me a year and half

Maybe synthetic gearbox oil helps ?

Hi, your gearbox is worn. It needs new 3rd clutch parts.
im having also a whirling sound at 30 kph at 3rd gear, but past that its fine, what do you think is the problem?
