@@Parmimusic iam not agree with Barry, but this piano intro is important part. can you tell us, this was pure improvisation, aproved by Al before, or its another composition?
Freaking amazing. This in my opinion is true mastery of an instrument. I have always loved deep music from the Soul. It has a distinct universal tone which is spiritual an so expresses life and creation in this Universe. Thankyoub so muchb for sharing this gift of music.
Mind blown. I did not consider the possibilities of a godin guitar using the synth connections,,,,I didn’t even want to go there until seeing this video, wow. And now I have to consider a distortion pedal too, gosh!
I've been testing the Godin Nylon for the past months going to Sam Ash, Guitar Center and Sweetwater music. I tested it through a Fender Pro Acoustic guitar amplifier and it sounds very nice.

Wow! I saw Al play in the late 90's. We waited longer then usual because he wasnt happy with the venues sound until they got it right. Best sound Ive ever heard. Rachel Z was on the digital piano too. Amazing performance!
What synth module is he using? I looks huge early roland of some kind i reckin ......sounds awesome the multiac is a great guitar and the synth access just makes it greater...esp in the hands of a true master.

yes my friend, avaliable en dvd, beautiful concert, album "one of these nights" sorry for my bad english, greetings from Minatitlan city, veracruz, mexico
What exactly is Al playing???? It sounds like an electric sitar. Anyways, this is awesome as it is to me a blend of classical, jazz and new age music. Very sophisticated....
All the time when I listen jazz music I felt something boring. a lil bit. But this, really sounds like movie music, and love that oriental sound. Great!!
The thing that seems very interesting is that the older you get the younger you look! Music is the life force of life! Bravo Mr. Meola!
So outstanding. So much incredible musicianship up on one stage and tying together so perfectly.
As much as I like Al Di Meola, the piano intro is the best part of this vid

Dimeiola is and has bewen one of the most amazing guitar players since the 70's!
Well said...for my money...he is hands down the best I have ever heard.
And I love Guitar players...they recognize he is in a league all by himself.
Ha, since forever! he is in that rarefied pantheon of the supernatural(See Buddy Rich, Oscar Peterson, Tommy Emmanuel, Pat Metheney et al!

Fantastic!! Incredible!! Outstanding!!
This keyboard player is the best foul to AlDiMeola 👍
The run he does at 657 to 704 is by far the most _____ guitar work I have ever heard (cannot find an adjective worthy enough to describe his ability).
Thats a nice Godin Guitar
Haha, the percussionist was so happy when he finally got to use his sticks!
Suffolk Theater tonight, should be very cool.
wunderbar ich liebe es immer wieder... so viel Inspiration und einfühlende Klänge..... man schmilz geradezu dahin
this is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. And tomorrow Al Di Meola World Sinfonia is making a concert in a theater 2 blocks for my house. can't wait for it!
I wonder what Guitar Synthesizer is using with the Godin guitar??

hes got the godin with the midi plug so it doubles as a synth which he uses to create a sitar patch what a genius
10 people are trying to make everyone else think they're Justin Bieber. As always, they succeded. #joketooold
The Piano part is the best.
Thank you so much!!!
this is a nice tune,...when he slows down I like his playing a lot more....which he almost never does....
i am the same way all the notes flying by! it's like the movie Amadeus where they said "to many notes!"

Great song fantastically played - loved all this beautiful sounds Al gets from this guitar and system.

Lovely piece of music - however much you may like / dislike 32'nd note, single string trills.
Who are the musicians, apart from al di meola?

Yep, the Godins SA's have an RMC piezo bridge setup with 13-pin outputs...
Great collaboration of sounf of healing among piano, violin and effected guitar.
Thank you!!!
It's a Godin Multiac with Synth Access. I can't quite tell which model...
The GODIN MULTIAC ACS and a Roland GI or GR Synth, What sound machines!!!
It's not the ACS, it's the Nylon SA. Larger body and Richlite fretboard that tracks MIDI much better.
You look like that guy at 2:26
In 2004, the fingerboard on the Nylon SA was not Richlite but ebony. The Richlite version arrived later, around 2012 and up.
I believe it's a Godin Grand Concert SA.
What guitar is it finally ! Everybody says something different.?!
Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer+Godin Multiac Grand Concert perfect combination
There is a tangy sound to his guitar, reminds me of a hangdrum...same sort of humming vibrant sound.
Beautiful
