Went through 2 engines in my frs in under 40k miles. At 80k miles on my nd1 and have no regrets moving to the mx5. Keep test driving the new models of 86/brz, waiting for a reason to swap back...no such luck. Miata is my answer!
I gave up motorcycles and now would like a practical daily driver 4 seat convertible. Only option right now is the eco boost mustang convertible. I'd rather have a toyota. Bring back the Solara convertible or make a convertible gr86/celica for the price of an eco boost mustang convertible. Don't even care if its slow. Hybrid convertible so I can cruise around guilt free.
@@Brandon-dv8mz That is very true. However, the MX-5 being convertible, makes a car that the Toyota can't compare with! And for most people that would rather have a convertible, it makes the Mazda a better choice.
Hope that news in Best car magazines cover this month was true...I am waiting till my 40th bday to buy a new sports car for myself. My 91 mr2 was my favorite toy I ever had. I hope the new mr2 has that 2.0l turbo they showed off earlier today. Please bring the mr2 for 2026. Currently have a 24 Tacoma offroad manual, girl friend has a 24 Rav4, and I also have a 91 Daihatsu Hijet kei truck. Just looking to add an all Toyota sports car in the next year or two
I realize that most people don't realize this yet, but your company is still aggressively sponsoring the Olympics. I just want to tell you that we will not forget that you side with hate mongers who despise Christians. Your brand will suffer as more people awaken to your partnership. Or you can do the right thing and step away from the Olympics and offer a public apology, the choice is yours. I was told it was possible to get the gr86 performance pack afterward but no dealership will do it.

I would buy the 86 but it's overpriced, come on Toyota, my 2002 Tacoma would have only costed $15,000 new and the 2024 86 cost how much again?
Same 15k was a good push for BRZs and FRS not no more 😵💫 30k starting is ridiculous
