This is the first Sutta, which was delivered by Arahant Mihidu thero who brought Buddhism to Sri Lanka. After listing to the this sutta the king was very delighted. So this is the seed of the Sri Lankan Buddhism which created a huge tree of Buddhism as of now. In my meditation last night, because of your videos, I saw the bull elephant with my own eyes. I simply can not express my gratitude enough. It is a wheel because they all work together, once the seeker becomes aware of impermanence his desires are diminished, and slowly he learns to stop grasping, as he realizes his desires cause suffering. Once reaching enlightenment, you realize that these states are fleeting, so you must let go of attachment, even to these states which we find pleasant
so good. You are so good at this, its amazing! Everything on your videos set the right tone. Your voice, delivery, the edition, and the text/script aswell, you are not only a amazing "youtuber" you are an outstanding teacher. You certainly helped me a lot and a lot of people interested on these teachings but not yet enough to go out of their way to look for something they dont know. So i thank you, you are my footprints.

It is difficult to express how this video effect puts me in tears, as since I was hit by lightning while writing a sermon 24 years ago for a friend to preach in a Christian church . I have realized there is something else going here . I know for a while I knew in part a small part as I see as a "fish out of the water" thinking I can survive on the ground breathing oxygen from air in place of the water when it is Nirvana I seek all this time . When I awakened isolated from Buddhism it couldn't be explained with words and when I read the teachings. It was my life story and It gave me so much validation and peace. @@adarshbhardwaj6190 because I was great fool. One of the greatest. As a child I was always a seeker. I just didn't realize I was a Buddhist per-say. I also was born with somewhat of a learning disability. But I do not consider it a disability. I just thought differently. When I became one, I use psychedelics. But they are not required. I was 17 when I had my experience. But before then I knew, that I would have lived the same life you would have lived as you would have left mine. But I had to put a lot of thinking into it and meditating to understand fully what that meant. I went through a large part of my life wondering if this was just a dream. I also experienced miracles within my life, so the veil of reality was always very thin. It wasn't this year that it all connected, I am 47 years old. I realize then that the kingdom is within. That the illusion of the self is what causes the suffering, because a part of me was drawn to the whole yet my attachments drew me to selfishness. I went through a lot of suffering, and I seeked and I seeked. And like the Buddha when I stop seeking for a moment, it happened. I have not reached the point of Nirvana but I got to take a peek inside for a period of time. For many years I looked at the ego as if it was my enemy. But eventually I learned that I must incorporate it into my higher self. I started to learn to see the divinity in this world and in all men. For even as a kid I knew I couldn't truly be mad at anyone for I would have done the same thing. It was this oneness that encompassed me. Now my cup is overfilled. For we cannot be with God until we love ourselves. And God is a very symbolic term that can mean many things. Buddhist would consider it the state of Nirvana. I will say do not be afraid, and see the good in the world because what you think you will become. We all yearn for wholeness. That is why we cry when we fall short. Good luck
I find the Gurdjieff’s 4th way so close in description to Buddha’s path. He’s teaching brought Buddhism to the every day man in the western world. I am a 75-year-old Muslim. In 1981, I had my first encounter with the Buddhist faith. I was deeply impressed by an answer to my question about why Buddhists, who do not believe in life after death, are so humble and humane. The response amazed me and clarified something I had always pondered: why do we perform good deeds for rewards in the afterlife, and why do we not fulfill our obligations in this world as human beings? Since then, I have wondered, if everyone lived the life of a monk, who would work for the betterment of humans among us, providing food, health care, education, and conducting research for the benefit of humanity?
The monks ARE working for the betterment of humans providing food, health care, and education, conducting research for the benefit of humanity but it is for spiritual betterment, not physical. The spiritual leads to the physical. The physical is always changing as Samsara giving us the dukkha or dissatisfaction with all the television shows and computer channels, all half true. The monks are seeking all the truth. Women's studies gives us half the truth causing dissatisfaction. The monks are healing humanity teaching us to transcend the Field of Relativity and television shows with dissatisfaction to be satisfied. The machines and entertainment give us half the truth. The foot prints, the two dimensional world, is half the truth. We all have half the truth. What monks are teaching us and the world is ALL THE TRUTH. There is an escape from dissatisfaction and suffering. Human intellects strive and never arrive. The Field of Relativity, is always changing causing dissatisfaction. The breath, heart beat, digestion, Quantum Field making up 95% of the Universe never change. Science is trying to catch up to Buddhism but science is slow and incomplete in the intellect. Monks practice the science of oneness, being one with the Universe.

The illusion of time and space may seem to give "us" difference, individulism, yet the common goal and self discipline conquers all illusions. I appreciate this video. I started to develop an attachment to the Juana’s and the experiences/visions in my meditation and because of this I now have a difficult time entering the states. I share this to emphasize how important it is NOT to cling on to or rather grasp at these absorption states because it will become your down fall.

Buddhism is a religion to the degree that it dictates how one should behave. One who is truly awakened is not bound by codes of conduct. He simply is the pure expression of wisdom, and follows the right course of action naturally and effortlessly. To live in a consciousness of codes of behavior is to dwell in duality. To dwell in duality is religion itself.
When I first embraced Buddhism, I viewed it as a philosophy. Upon deeper investigation and contemplation I became to view it as a scientific discourse on reaching enlightenment. Today I see neither and both at the same moment. I anticipate that the closer we become to enlightenment the more our mental distinctions evaporate leaving only oneness. An expression of the Tao.

I find the Gurdjieff’s 4th way so close in description to Buddha’s path. He’s teaching brought Buddhism to the every day man in the western world. No need to put a robe on and one must work and put effort during every day life I think your videos are very wise and will help many start the path. Thank you for your effort. 😊

I am a 75-year-old Muslim. In 1981, I had my first encounter with the Buddhist faith. I was deeply impressed by an answer to my question about why Buddhists, who do not believe in life after death, are so humble and humane. The response amazed me and clarified something I had always pondered: why do we perform good deeds for rewards in the afterlife, and why do we not fulfill our obligations in this world as human beings?
Since then, I have wondered, if everyone lived the life of a monk, who would work for the betterment of humans among us, providing food, health care, education, and conducting research for the benefit of humanity?
The monks ARE working for the betterment of humans providing food, health care, and education, conducting research for the benefit of humanity but it is for spiritual betterment, not physical. The spiritual leads to the physical. The physical is always changing as Samsara giving us the dukkha or dissatisfaction with all the television shows and computer channels, all half true. The monks are seeking all the truth. Women's studies gives us half the truth causing dissatisfaction. The monks are healing humanity teaching us to transcend the Field of Relativity and television shows with dissatisfaction to be satisfied. The machines and entertainment give us half the truth. The foot prints, the two dimensional world, is half the truth. We all have half the truth. What monks are teaching us and the world is ALL THE TRUTH. There is an escape from dissatisfaction and suffering. Human intellects strive and never arrive. The Field of Relativity, is always changing causing dissatisfaction. The breath, heart beat, digestion, Quantum Field making up 95% of the Universe never change. Science is trying to catch up to Buddhism but science is slow and incomplete in the intellect. Monks practice the science of oneness, being one with the Universe.
It always comes back to cultivating a sattvic mind.

I appreciate this video. I started to develop an attachment to the Juana’s and the experiences/visions in my meditation and because of this I now have a difficult time entering the states.

When I first embraced Buddhism, I viewed it as a philosophy.
Upon deeper investigation and contemplation I became to view it as a scientific discourse on reaching enlightenment.
Today I see neither and both at the same moment.
I anticipate that the closer we become to enlightenment the more our mental distinctions evaporate leaving only oneness. An expression of the Tao.
