@AnastasiaAna-v3b if I said Buddhist have never shed blood in history its wrong, Buddhists uphold the precept of nonviolence, Buddha strictly prohibited the killing of living beings., King Alexander, King Ashoka, Angulimala... If blood was shed, because they did not know Buddhism before, after understanding it, they learned from their old mistakes and changed their lives completely. You misunderstanding it,But some special circumstances, people like Buddhist royalties and royal guards have to shed blood, because they have to complete their roles ,Because if those who commit wrongdoing are not punished, the country will suffer great destruction.but I can clearly say monks / special position like swoan, anagami, sakurdagami people, and special position like the kings who held the kingdom of the world did not shed blood

He stopped wars in India because of Buddhism, Buddhism renews his worldly wisdom, and as a Buddhist in Sri Lanka, I know that well. When I was a child, I heard it from the monks who taught Dhamma. At that time, when Emperor Alexander met Indian Buddhist monks, Em was amazed to see them, and after listening to the Buddha's teaching, he and his soldiers were impressed by it,Then he and his soldiers started following Buddhism. After he returned to his empire, he tried to spread Buddhism in his empire like emperor Ashoka, but unfortunately he did not have much time left to live. He suddenly fell ill and became bedridden. Emperor Alexander he was a Buddhist before he died and before he died he tells his most trusted commanders, when I die, take my hands out of my coffin so that the people of my country can see it. Then they will see that I have nothing in my hand now. Also take all the valuables from my treasury and spread them along the path to my coffin, so that my people can see what a glorious person I was and i'm also died like this . They can see what Anicca is really like in this world .
In fact, as a Buddhist, I didn't jump to conclusions immediately after hearing this, so I gave it time and used my wisdom. So time and wisdom are now proving it and my incomplete understanding and conclusions are now being completed because the evidence is now emerging. At first I didn't mean to tell you this, but now I'm telling you this.

My family, as Buddhists, have been studying studying and collecting Buddhist art for generations. My father taught me about this ancient Greek connection when I asked what was the oldest statue of Buddha. He told me that the earliest Buddhist remembered Buddha with the wheel, the Buddha tree, a park, a footprint. It was difficult for laypeople to understand what that was supposed to symbolize, and the Greeks gave Buddhists the idea of personifying Buddha and his teachings through human form, and that Buddhist owes in no small part, it's existence and evolution to the Greeks, and showed me Gandhara style statues of very Herculean and Apollan poses but with the face and robes of Buddha. Honestly, monks robes are basically the Greek himation in my imagination, I mean you see how Buddhist monks robe themselves in winter and you see and ancient Greek to bed figure, they look the same.
Thank you, ancient Greek philosophers and warrior, your gifts are still with us, and according to Buddhist tradition, we will try our best to preserve for the remaining 2,500 years before Buddhism is once again forgotten, as all things that exist must come to past.

When I was in university, I studied philosophy and religious studies - attained a double major in those disciplines. My concentrations weee early Christian writings, early Greek philosophy and Mahayana Buddhism.
My working thesis was on the syncretism between Buddhism and stoicism and later primitive Christianity, especially within the gnostic tradition.
The problem I kept hitting was that because my thesis was technically multi-disciplinary, the instructors and professors struggled to see the bridge. Philosophy, Christianity and Buddhism were all taught distinct from each other. Apart from my obsession with the syncretism, no connections were ever discussed. I was often shot down by professors. Only one took a strong interest in my work and encouraged me to continue.

I’ll fire away some occult puzzle pieces to help you form the picture.
Jesus refers to King Izates II of Osorene (Edessa/Rohasia). His brother Judas is St. Thomas. Both were initiated by Yon Pandita (John the Baptist) into the Serpent Mysteries (sexual alchemy) that originated from Sri Lanka via Osarseph (Moses) who is there known as Kataragama. The Old Hebrew were the Amarna Dynasty who relocated to Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Tennessee.
The Shakyamuni Triad meaning 3 Scythian Sages is who Buddha collectively refers to. This includes Shah Bardiya of the Acheamanids, King Suchandra of Shambhala (Balkh), and King Sumana Saman Deviyo of Deva Hela (Sri Lanka).
‘Buddha’ combined Simhorgian Mithraism with the Serpent Mysteries, Upanishads, and the Vedas to produce Therevada.
Vajrayana is the Buddhism + Bön Shamanism, producing the oldest and closest incarnation of the Tantric mysticism practiced by the Sons of God (Elohim) in the days of Atlantis.
Judas (St. Thomas) was initiated into Vajrayana during his exile to India, after being caught in a regime change attempt of his twin Izates (Jesus) orchestrated by the Pharisees to consolidate control over Osorene. The Pharisees/Rabbis did not like Izates (Jesus) because who was agaisnt their Usury.
Izates (Jesus) was accepted into the Egyptian derived Essenes, within which he established the Military Order of the Nazarene (circumcised) which the Jedi in Star Wars are partly based on, and which the Knights Templars are a revamp of.
The serpent mysteries went from Moses of Amarna to the Nagas of Sri Lanka who went into India and imparted it to the Mandeans of Iran who relocated to Iraq and imparted it to John Baptist who transferred it to the Edessan Dynasty of Osorene which Izates and Judas became a part of.
After Rome defeated Izates (Jesus) and destroyed the 2nd Temple the mysteries were transferred to Sri Lanka by Judas (Thomas) who established himself on Anuradhapura. Later on the House of Hashem from whom came forth the Assassins relocated to Sri Lanka and were imparted the mysteries which was taken up by the Ismaili. It is from the Ismaili that Hugh De Paynes of the Knights Templars received initiation. The Templars then tried to impart it to Europe but was decimated by the Church and France. Yet, the Rosicrucians were able to preserve the knowledge.
The Christian’s have nothing to do with Izates (Jesus). They are Judeans pacified of Nationalism and indoctrinated into a globalist view by Josephus Flavius who created the New Testament.
Yosef Ben Mattityahu was a companion of Izates. He betrayed Izates, jointing Vespasian who adopted him, renaming himself Josephus Flavius. He goes by Saul as Yosef, and by Paul as Joesphus in the New Testament.

It is the Lord Buddha who reveals that everything we sense is just a process (saṅkhāra). Matter (rūpa) is only energy, constantly changing, and nothing is permanent. The mind and feelings (arūpa) are also just energy. Therefore, the self does not truly exist. If one is perceptive enough to grasp this basic logic, they will practice Buddhism and find freedom from sorrow.

Very nice and informative research. I just want to add some, The debate between Greek commander and Buddhist monk Nagsena lasted about 3 days and 3 nights on the theory of " Anatman' or no self. Eventually the Greek commander converted himself to Buddhist. This was the era when Buddha dhamma of ( Mahayana sector) was very popular all around Indian sub-continent and Asia. There were various mentors from Nalanda university (Buddhist university) who had enormous influence on people in sub-continent.
When Greeks encountered monks at the river bank for the first time, they were Shramans. Shramans are those who followed tyagg marga, meaning giving up everything and living Aesthetic life style to seek the truth of existence. Shakyamuni's Gutama Buddha teachers were all Shramans and Shakyamuni himself was a Shramana.

And about the Buddha's face ,the figure , There were some saying in Tibet that nobody really succeeded drawing lord Buddhas face 100 percent picture perfect the reason was ....whoever the artist may have been it was like Almost impossible for snyone to draw him face perfectly bcuz the amount of radiant or lights sparkling around the Buddhas face and head were like a fairy angelic tales ....and when people observed Buddhas walking ...they were so amazed , it seems like he was more like floating or on a roller / ice shoes rather than how we as ordinary humans walking yet gradual, calm as if like some kind God from heaven floating around ..
And when he speaks every living sentient beings from every walks of life were able to understand....
Msny great sages / priest / scholars of highest recognition came and challenged Buddha on various Topics ....turned out kneeling down Infront of Buddha just seeing the Buddha and his charming appearances.....without uttering a word as if like all of theirs egoistic knowledge, pride simply melted away just by looking at Buddha first place....
That is how Lord Buddha was ...full of Charm , angelic radiant evaporating from his Face , body and in speeches ...

Kalanos, wasn't a Budhist, he was Greek gymnosophist, that followed the Macedonian soldiers during their trip, like many other people, men, women, even children, support personnel, cooks, painters, writers, scriptors, doctors, metal smiths, etc. It wasn't just a bunch of soldiers. They even issued a rudimentary newspaper on papyrus that was spread across the cities they built or conquered. Most people simply know about Alexander, but completely ignore the incredible logistics organization behind his campaigns that allowed to run such vast Empire. Anyway, Kalanos at some point was very ill, and he didn't want Alexander or the soldiers to mourn after his death, so he asked them to build a big fire stage, and he walked the stairs on it and burned himself to end his life the way he wanted, while the soldiers played music and trumpets and cheered for his passing to the afterlife. There were many such human stories like that during Alexander's travels and alot of them are documented.

Great video! Thank you for the research and presentation. However, I prefer more fact-checking on the initial part of the video. In the first part of the video, the description of "naked monk". As far as I know Buddhist monks are not naked from the beginning. You might be describing other spiritual seekers who practised Buddhist thought (however, if so, they can not be called Buddhist monks).
I would also appreciate the fact-checking on the extreme physical practices as to have committed by monks. Buddhist teachings generally do not acknowledge intense physical suffering as a path to peace or spiritual development. It is clear ascetic Siddartha Gauthama (name before the Enlightenment) himself gave up intense physical suffering embracing the middle path as the method for Enlightenment.
I appreciate confirming the philosophical facts before presenting as these videos are intended for knowledge and learning. Thank you.

Good work but some missing truth:
    1. There were no Hindus or Brahmins during Buddhist period. After 700 AD one part of Buddhism branch converting to brahmanism.
    2. Prakrit, Pali the ancient language.
    3. Buddhist hybrid Sanskrit was written by Buddhist monks.
    4. Classical Sanskrit came much latter in AD not in the BC period.
    5. There were 28 buddhas before the Buddha.
    6. Hinduism came during Mughal period and English period….more
    7. You need to know archeological evidence.
    8. Much more

Gratitude for opening up the Gate this way. Though Key lies underneath:" Gnotis Eoton..."(Delphi Temple) "Know Yourself" that the Sage Socrates emphasized upon. His acceptance to die on request has turned it into Him as a Major Wisdom Sage embodiment at the root of our common ground Indo-European Cultures based on Sanskrit. Furthermore WhoEver could spend time to read Plato : read ?that the Tathagata Buddha appeared to Socrates and gave him Teachings in dreams that lead him to wake up to his own Ultimate Truth! Let's wake up in their authentic footsteps!

Not enough emphasized that Gautama Buddha did reach "Enlightenment" in North India long before 4th c. BC, at relative level. But His Ultimate Wisdom that is aimed at uncovering one's own Ultimate Truth beyond self is Timeless and needs to be harnessed with altruistic motivation, to unveil with Love and Compassion for oneself and others the thick layers of our own and collective ignorance that binds as attachment and rejection in relative daily confused perception of oneself and others. The root cause of the wonders displayed by the monks, that are result of their Purity in their ways to manifest.
