Kris is done done with Metazoo. He is doing alot of Christian based work now if that is your thing. That said, his time as art director really solidified the style that I personally love.
They didn’t tell people about dark Tower because they didn’t want people to come to a tournament. They knew they didn’t have the money to pay the winners.
Metazoo never felt like a player based product or idea, it always came across as a collectors game or the NFT of card games. I still to this day never met a single person whom has actually played. And people who collect it say the same thing, "I like the art style, its like old school pokemon," "the game is too complicated, especially the 4th wall breaks," and "Its a good investment." You're the first person to ever talk about decks, builds, and gameplay.
@@BlaqAdam I’ve heard the same thing about Pokemon and yet… people play it. Most of the content was dominated by the collector investor types because that is what got views and is also the laziest content to make.
i think the hello kitty meta at the tail end is worth mentioning - esp w the san diego comic con promos and sarah good but i did love this video thanks the texas meta had so much more going on than other small pockets elsewhere, i never got to play half as much as i wanted to. loved effigies and frogman, all sorts of wacky decks. and yellow is the best color duh
