How about people that struggle to survive and make ends meet their entire life? Don't you think that poverty shortens lives and is unecessary suffering? The majority of people in the world throughout history have lived in poverty. I think that the amount of wealth that Michael and others that have even more is obscene. Young children, women, disabled are starving, malnourished and without even any shelter. They deserve to suffer like that their entire life while Michael bought another 400 thousand dollars of watches.

@@manankataria dunno if your legit but you should 100% go with the Kermit. Appreciates value like crazy and it's almost impossible to buy one directly from Rolex and the pre owned market is always way more expensive. The black on black is way cheaper but while it holds its value, it's nowhere near the level of the coloured Submariners. Now people say you shouldn't look at watches as an investment and get what you like, but most of us don't have that kind of money and at least for me, spending thousands of dollars on anything should be looked at as an investment

I'm not a fan either. It looks like they put together a tourbillon as cheaply as possible and got it mass produced. Manufacturing a tourbillon in this way just isn't appealing to me.

Thanks guys, love the matching boxes and shirt. Michael adding a Panzera to his collection shows a bit of buddy bonding with Adam and support for Adam’s channel as well as a shout for Panzera. I used to collect watches and had a modest collection including a couple of Rolex. Two years ago I was diagnosed with terminal cancer so I started to liquidate my collection so my wife would not have the hassle of trying to sell it. Plus she knows jack about watches so would get shafted by all of the ‘trusted’ dealers out there. So here’s the thing it doesn’t matter how big, how impressive or how valuable your collection is - it’s amounts to jack when your time is up (excuse the pun). Now when I was collecting I acquired an intimate knowledge about each piece, the history of the manufacturer etc., and that was all part of the pleasure of collecting watches or anything else fort that matter. I don’t understand the concept of ‘collecting’ but only having a very superficial knowledge of the pieces acquired. Reckon there’s a difference between a true ‘collector’ and someone who simply buys what catches his eye or satisfies a materialistic urge to buy then hoards it away for years and forgets all about it and doesn’t use the purchase to enhance his knowledge. All that said I don’t begrudge Michael, Adam or anyone else who wants to spend money on watches and show them off after all I’ve been there myself albeit on a much more modest scale. Just saying (plug for Nico at Pride & Pinion there) that you can’t take it with you at the end of the day. Meantime love the channel and wish you both all best for the festive season and 2021.

Adam, you did hit the point that generally the Rolex Stainless Steel Sports model are safe and holds or appreciate in value as the demand are always high as they are "affordable" to much more people than the precious metals with stones. Of cos there are some exceptions like the Daytona rainbow, Daytona yellow gold with green dial and etc... but for Datejust and Daydates in precious metals and stones, the retail price (usually you can get a discount) is unattainable to the mass market which lessen the demand. Also there are too many variations, different dials, different color, shape stones, sizes and therefore even if a collector can afford it, it may not be in the combination that appeals to him and so further lessen the demand and hence "lose value" pre-owned compared to retail price.

GMT will have the GMT function Michael, love it 😂😂😂. Quick way to tell if you’re not wearing your glasses is the centre links on a GMT are polished whereas submariner is all brushed. 👍🏻

Note: With pens, there's kind of a limit in terms of you pay more and get more. Beyond about $150 you're paying for brand name and design, the pen doesn't actually work any better.
There is a $400,000 Montblanc pen I lust after, but I know that my $20 Cross pen probably writes just as well, so it'd be "I get to enjoy the beauty of this pen" rather than "the people I write to will see the paper and know I used an expensive pen to write it" or "the physical act of writing will be better". And my holy grail of pens that I wouldn't be locked up in the funny farm to buy was a $130 Cross pen, and I do now own it.
So in your pursuit of pens I encourage you to look at Cross and Pilot, they make some really quite beautiful pens that aren't very expensive.

A quick way to always tell the difference between a GMT Master 2 and a Submariner is that Submariner's dial count goes by 10', (example: 10...20...30 etc) The GMT Master 2 counts by 2's on the dial. (example: 2...4...6...etc)
No hate whatsoever on the struggle of differentiation Michael, this is a quick tip.... The numbers on the dial are larger than the letters on the Face, so it Is always easier to quickly tell by the numbers
