Multipolar World - Russia's Primakov Doctrine in the Middle East
Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 лип 2024
- The unipolar world, i.e. with one leading center of power (USA), is becoming a thing of the past. Mainly due to the growing power of China. However, Russia also has been implementing its plan to become one of the global poles of agency for over 20 years now. This strategy is defined by the Primakov Doctrine. Welcome to the next episode of The 20s Report.

This is all a joke to the capitalists. Humans can't kill in order to create justice.
The *legend* of God is that God will kill in order to create justice.
Humans can kill in order to create injustice.
This is all a joke to the capitalists because communist land has become a sort of biological Mecca and the US slaves are born Hoping to be Those Slaves who are the soldiers who try to steal the region from the leaders.
Their savagery has made them more and more biologically thirsty to grab the land in the region
Quite realistic and unbiased video. I can only add that Russia collaborated with Saudis using OPEC+ format not to raise oil prices, but to stabilize it at levels making US fracture shale oil mining non-profitable to kill it and stop US oil expansion to traditional Russian and Saudis markets. As a result US oil mining dropped significantly, so to stabilize situation US forced Saudis to decrease production, beacuse both of them are producing same oil brand, so they are direct competitors. US managed to grab a share of Saudis market making them very unhappy with it, and they was already unhappy with US slowly stealing their market share and being not so gentle with Middle East. In any case Saudis will loose market share anyway, and they knew it, so they have to focus on their own problems. In that case they are much more interested in region stability and more sovereignity and both of this can be achieved cooperating with Russia, or at least not fighting against it.
The baltics are not a part of rusisan influence

The multipolar world was a concept of General De Gaulle 40 years earlier, at the height of the cold war. De Gaulle was thinking that the world will be more peaceful with 5 poles: USA, Europe, China, USSR, a 3rd world organization.
And also, around the same time as De Gaulle, there's Tito with Nasar forming the non-aligned movement. Primakov, however, represents an evolution, making multipolar more mainstream.
Multipolar world is a very similar concept to democracy .... the 5 poles need acheive a majority 3:2 minimum in order carry out any proposal affecting the world.

Fairly balanced summary of the last 10 years of Russian foreign politics. Its interesting how US will approach Russia-Chinese partnership. As bad as Russia-US relationships are now, US almost encouraging China and Russia to get together. Which plays directly into Primakov Doctrine.
Russo-sino relations are only based off one thing, which is Russias and chinas paranoia of the US, once the us stop caring about that part of the world they will beat each other's throats. China already laid territorial claim on far eastern Russia, also Russia Siberia already fairly temperet is looking more sexy to the Chinese as global warming continues, it could solve their energy dependence problem and maybe their water problem.
Also the us wants regional powers in central Asia and the middle east, if Russia and China want to extort their influence there they will have to inherit the mess there, which means less responsibility for America.
@@cuddlemuffin.9545 You're pretty much wrong on everything you said. The China Russia relationships are now the best they ever were. Putin and Xi Jinping meet at least 5 times a year every year. There's an ongoing investment from Chinese into developing soon to be full year opened Northern Sea trade route. There's a ton of other partnerships on all levels, with primary being in energy. They both have interest in countries part of Belt and Road Initiative. They cooperate on most UN stances. And their stance against US is anything but paranoid. US openly states that it intends to stop China from becoming a superpower and is open about its ambition to form word spanning anti-chinese coalition. Japan is a common adversary for either of them. Russia and China continue to grow military partnership and increase military exercises that already happen many times per year.
Chinese-Russian territorial disputes are a western meme that isn't talked about at the highest level of power in any capacity. And Chinese invasion of Siberia is pure propaganda that nobody serious thinks will ever happen. What's more likely to happen is that China will continue to improve relations and diplomatically persuades Russia to co-develop those lands.

I think Primakov’s multipolar world order perfectly describes a new chapter of the world in which we currently live, and that it is a reality we will have to acknowledge. The only caveat being that things are seldom static as alliances can shift, priorities will be re-examined, and world governments must reconcile with other problems like pandemics and natural catastrophes due to global warming.
I liked it. Another!
To put this better in perspective it must be said what other side (US) did prior to each of Russian involvement.
Two sides to every story. I think the West has become weak without an adversary. I don't like a unipolar world, it would be terrible for all of us. But I don't like a balance of power system at world level simply because it is too fragile. Napoleon steamrolled Europe only for Prussia to steamroll France and declare the German Empire. Next, WW1.
We live in an everchanging world, people are asinine for not considering the implications.
It is a rather pro-USA video
Very thorough background infos in this video.
I'd be interesting in the sino-russians relations, especially in their military cooperation. Maybe that would be something for a future video.
Russia supports China in the confrontation with the United States in the context of creating a multipolar world and limiting the influence of the United States in the world as a whole, but Russia will certainly not be a military partner of China, it has its own interests and they contradict Chinese ones in many places, for example, Russia absolutely does not like China's economic dominance in Central Asia in the former Soviet republics. And of course, Russia will not support China in its confrontation with India, because India is also an old friend since the Soviet era. Russia can help and will join China in introducing its Yuan currency as one of the world's currencies in the markets around the world. including where the dollar still dominates the oil markets. That is, the destruction of the dollar's dominance in international settlements is a direct benefit for Russia and it will go to this
Good video.

Great analysis of this problematic :) keep up the great work!

Multipolar doctrine is much more appealing than unipolar one. The US has completely failed in solving international problems and is unfit to lead the world. If we want to resolve issues on a planetary scale like climate change, pollution, migration, hunger, etc we need an organization that is significantly more influential than the UN. Plus Russian traditional approach to diplomacy, like negotiating with every willing side and finding compromises, takes more time but works notably better than using sanctions, threats, and ultimatums.
How did the United States win the Cold War then, if it is unable to rule the world?
@@SlavaZukin It's akin to asking how one can like oranges when they eat apples. It's a completely unrelated topic. Nazi Germany conquered France during WW2. Does it mean it was better suited to rule Europe? Moreover, the US hardly did anything to achieve that victory. USSR fell apart due to mismanagement and crises in economics and politics.

Indeed, the events after the Soviet Union collapse inspired analysis about Russia as a secondary player in the global world order. The Yeltsin government seemed to confirm this prediction. However, it is simply unthinkable to imagine that Russia would become a secondary player forever. The colossal geographic surface of the Russian State (although decreased to the territory of the former Federative Russian Republic of URSS), the natural resources of the country, and the weight of geopolitical mindset in the Russian history, would become impossible to think the perpetuation of this situation. Of course, the global projection of Russia today is a work of Putin and Putin Staff (including Primakov, Lavrov, and so forth). Nonetheless, this accomplishment is an evident example of the geopolitical capability of Russia as well as it expresses the resilience of socio-historical Russian ethos.
I really liked this analysis, but I don't think all of turkey's abysmal behavior on the international arena and within its own borders is due to Russian trolling. Their behavior is on them.
While America is centralizing its economy. We see the restoration of a large Horde centered in Russia. A diversified economy with a vast petty-bourgeois base along with government corporations and oligarchy is Russia's return to the Turkic system.
It's not about whether we like it or not. The alliance of Russia with Central Asia, Turkey and Iran is necessary for the survival of all these countries. The process will be accelerated by the transfer of the capital, proposed by Shoigu (for example, to Ufa) and by the President of Russia with Turkic roots.
Cultural integration on the Islamic-Orthodox platform has justified itself before. It will eliminate the cause of national strife and restore the self- and mutual respect of the peoples of the great Horde.
There was a time that Russia was interested in joining nato, but was pushed away. Then trying to oppose Russia US time and again was supporting the terrorists in Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan …. but now as Russia is developing strong alliances with China Turkey Iran US suddenly finds itself isolated.

Actually the Congress of Vienna system- which I have always been a supporter and put stock in- is less multipolar than nonpolar . The whole point is to prevent overwhelming power centers .
That's harder to do now than in the 19th century unfortunately because of the growth of a bipolar world order for many decades .
It's difficult to agree with so much information presented, but it is a 90% agree. Not bad! The key part about what will happen in the future is at the end of the video. The US government is struggling not Russia, but many of its allies. This comes to a cost for the US also. Also, the US has big economic risks related to money printing. I think that the two opposite scenarios are the economic collapse of Russian allies that can delay the idea of a multipolar world (with some consensus mechanisms between them) ... or economic troubles in the US economy that could accelerate the need for better relations with the other major players. Now the US has big economic power and is able to impose hard sanctions on countries. Other key players are European countries, where the future of election results is not clear, and this could move the balance to one thing or another. Also, Latin America plays a role in this, and elected presidents are changing constantly between the ones pro multilateral world and pro unipolar world.
WHAT!? "US government is struggling not Russia" That's a lie, Russia is struggling without Moscow, no Moscow and Russia done for.
Overall it’s a good analysis of the recent events of world politics and Russian in particular. However, it’s still biased and has some western clishes. 1. There is no Gerasimovv’s doctrine. In his article Gerasimov just described the approaches and tools in recent and existing conflicts, how conflicts of the close future will look like and what tools Russia should use to withstand these conflicts.
2. By the beginning of 2000nds Russian political class clearly understood that the true intention of the US and allies towards Russia was to establish control over Russian resources, especially energy resources. And Russia decided not to sign energy treaty proposed and pushed by US and EU. The main purpose of the treaty was western investments into Russian energy sector in exchange to resources control. Since then Russia began to be pictured by the west as an enemy. Especially after 2007 Putin’s Munich speech.
3. Only after that Russia started implementing Primakov’s concept of multipolar world seriously. And the first example of Russia’s seriousness was defence of South Ossetia from Georgian assault.

@@siux94 Unlike the Americans, the Russians are not naive. It is impossible to control the whole world, the American globalization project will fail. Russia wants to play an important role in the communication of the East, South and West, but not to control it.
Civilizational diversity is also very important, the world should not be ruled by one force (civilization). Civilizations are not eternal, don't put all your eggs in the same basket.
@@donrumata2274 Americans naive?
Shut up. You can't be naive and control the whole world! Russia is falling apart, they only have 2 things: nukes and oil
@@siux94 But, in geopolitics, American politicians are complete incompetents. They can't see more than one step further. The funny thing is, Americans think that they are the smartest, and the rest (for example, Indians, Russians or Chinese) these are idiots. This is very stupid.
The more you talk about Russia's weakness, the more humiliating the defeat of the United States will be. It is inevitable that China, Russia and India will build a multipolar world. America is only aggravating its situation, trying to save its hegemony.
@@donrumata2274 yet you think that Americans are stupid. See the pattern?
US have the money, power and cutting edge technolgy and knowhow.
China has money, Russia and India have none.
Russia can't even develop car or new jet engine
Especially good video
