They sound good but man that pricetag is a bit much. Gibson brought back Maestro pedals for about $100 cheaper than these and those also sound great. I love Orange for amps but there's more pedals for cheaper that sound just as good as these.
These are baffling. Orange admits they didn't know about their history and lost all their info on these pedals, relying on random photos to help? Your giant company couldn't even source a single original unit to copy? You had no faith in the designs and all documentation was thrown out? That doesn't have the endearing communal effect your marketing team told you it would- instead it reflects poorly on the responsibility, management, and professionalism of your company. The distortion isn't even the original circuit- you have a massive enclosure with only two knobs and still decide a basic control on a new design should be locked inside the pedal? A single control 4 stage phaser clone for $250, a quarter of a grand, from a big box manufacturer? This whole line is $60 Stupid Deal of the Day fodder right from launch.
Frustration much? Jeez, calm down! Schematics can get lost and EHX also needed to rely on collectors for the recreation of their big muff reissues, because they haven‘t kept any units. What‘s the big deal with that? They are a little steep though, i’ll give you that.
@@erlannderrantem6972 Leave the multimillion dollar company alone, they need to sell me feature-light generic pedals for exorbitant cost in an oversaturated market.
Best distortion I ever heard …… that real 70’s rock distortion ….. probably will pair perfectly with a Marshall Origin 50 amp head…. Super excited for it
Haha this is all a joke right? From the announcer to the lame demo riffs to the $250 price. How can you charge more for these pedals filled with jellybean parts than your mini dark amp? I guess the hipster market is big enough? The sham turns me off to the entire brand.
You guys are completely out of touch with these. NO ONE is going to pay $250 a piece for any of them, get ready to see these on heavy discount in the not too distant future.
It's the Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) signature! The guitar comes with two Seymour Duncan Antiquity II but I've decided to change the bridge pickup for a Curtis Novak J-FAT! There's a Mastery Bridge as well!
These are pedals are kinda out of reach for most players that aren’t touring musicians. I bet they are well made, and the name brand means something. But I can get those distortion sounds out of a 60 dollar Rat. I can get a good compressor from Boss that does the same thing for about 60 dollars also. And I can get an MXR phaser for less than a hundred bucks. I mean, I get your going after that white guy hipster with disposable income market, but most of us who own an orange already saved up enough to get one of those amps, and asking us to shelve out $250 bucks for a pedal that doesn’t add anything new or different is a little… tone deaf? I dunno guys. From what I’ve heard in the video I kinda want to look elsewhere.
Just buy all BOSS Pedals! They will survive the apocalypse and won't burn your wallet! 😂😂😂 Orange are good amps period...but Orange guitar pedals for that price? Cmon!
@@erlannderrantem6972 they only have one, the Rockerverb, and I have two of them. 5 years ago they had 4 different high watt heads, there’s no reason for them only to have one now. I need some variety in my life.
Can’t wait for the price on that sustain to hit 60 bucks on reverb. 250 bucks my arse.
LOL.....so true
It cost $385.00 tax included in Canada! Pretty steep here.
Get a 70 bucks Boss Distortion pedal - Its painted in Orange too !
I just bought it for $271 cdn. They are discontinued now, so you might be waiting a while longer.
I've always wondered what it would be like if 1990s David Lynch directed a commercial for guitar gear.
Great job Sef
Thanks a lot! It was fun and interesting to do! ;)
Sef's post got me here. I love it and will definitely order it!
Why are these more expensive than a terror stamp ?
Good question…
Great demo/playing. I am getting the Distortion.
I’m just wanting a Dual Dark version of the Super Crush at 200watts
Keep Rockin'🎶🎸 Sef!💜
Thanks for sharing! Bro!
Take care:)
Thanks a lot my dear sister!
This is so rad! A long road, indeed!

What a nice movie, with a nice soundtrack ! ;)
Thanks a lot Stéphane! It was cool and interesting to build the story surrounding this project!

Around 7:20 channelling Huw Lloyd Langton :-)
I've got the phaser on the way and can't wait! This will be my first phaser, and hopefully last one. You bet I'm excited!
The MXR script is pretty amazing for a 3rd of the price unfortunately

It would be really interesting to hear that! 😉
That phaser sounds amazing!! I might have to pick that up to go with my Guitar Butler.
I was really impressed! Let me know if you try it!
The sunburn guitar it's really gorgeous!
Thank you! It's a custom shop re-issue '58!
It's a Phase 90 in an inconvenient size for way more money.
Lol the price 😅
Gotta get mine.
Amazing! Is there any more specifically that caught your attention?
What a great voice!
I could listen to Sef all day long. Please somebody ask him to record audio books. What a total legend. The pedals are great sounding too 🤪
Same here! Please a podcast!!!

Always a pleasure to share those magic moments with you! 😉
This Orange Sustain is all i need.
P.S. I have no idea who Sef is, but i have not seen such charisma for a long time. Great video.
Thanks a lot, my friend! Let me know your thoughts if you tried this sustain!
The Kongpressor is amazing as well with a few more options
Yeah the pedals are great but can I hire sef to be out future dungeon master?
Not sure I have all the skills for that!!!
Hold my beer I am going to rob a bank and buy all this stuff.
Take the time to finish your beer before!!! Let me know if you try one of those!
Great Sound, wow, so feel free to blow me over live next year
Thank you!!! I can't wait to be back my friend!!!
What does the D on the hat represent 🤔?. I like that hat.
It's a Dodgers' cap! ;)
not sure if it was mentioned but which amp are you running through?
Hi Ted. Sef is using the Orange Thunderverb 200 for most of this video. That's what's sitting behind him on an Orange PPC412 cabinet.
It's the first Orange amp I've got! ;)
Dude, I love these pedals! How many watts are they? Do they come with gig bags? Asking for a friend
So you're making the same joke in every video?
the half size of these pedals would be awsome.
what will they cost?
saw them for 249.00$ on Sweetwater
there goes my interest..
Haha this is all a joke right? From the announcer to the lame demo riffs to the $250 price. How can you charge more for these pedals filled with jellybean parts than your mini dark amp?

You are 100% correct.
Orange has always made money from hipsters. Pedals are no exception.
True. I respect orange as a company, but if I’m gonna shell out 250 for a compressor, might as well get an empress one for the same price damn.
That phaser sounds nice, I might get it
$250.00 is about the going rate for any pedal these days but who knows. Times are tough.
I like this guy, he reminds me of the cookie monster.
What jazzmaster is that?

These sound killer and look great
I enjoyed discovering those pedals! The sustain one was my favorite!
Hahahaha 249.00 wtf orange what a shitty price point.
They jumped the shark but that’s how hype works. If they don’t sell enough, the prices will come down to sane levels.
As overpriced as their amps
These pedals are kinda meh. Give us a high gain 1 watt all-tube amp with a spring reverb.
Is this a bit?

At a push they should be 250 for all three.
$385.00 (tax included) here in Canada, I like the Sustain pedal, but that’s WAY too steep a price for me to buy it.

Sef is cool but pedals are too big, please be contemporary! I will not put this monsters on my pedalboard ...
Go buy a used OR-15 and a phase 90 and you’ve got every tone in this video and only spent a few bucks more than all three pedals
250 Euros ?? No Thnx , ill stick to my my Boss ( only 77 euro also in orange ! ) Distortion Pedal ! 😂
Man, we wanted a bigass tube amp, not this.
Great Sound, very cool this pedals
They already have bigass tube amps, go buy one if you want one
