I have a problem with 4runner 99 High fuel consumption and black smoke When the car is running while it is cold, the RPM counter rises to 1.5 and when it is warm, it drops to 1 . And when it is turned on while it is hot, it also rises to 1.5 and then goes down What is the solution to this problem? Sorry for taking so long
Check engine light? Get the code read at an auto parts store if so. Sounds like the fuel system is getting data from a sensor and is mixing in too much fuel. Check 02 sensor, clean MAF sensor, check for vaccum leaks, intake plenum gasket If the car has a modified intake or exhaust, this can cause rich or lean running. Stock components is how the system was engineered.

Love me a Toyota but, this looks like it’s in the rust belt. Geneva Ohio? If it is from the rust best it’s falling apart underneath
Is this a 4 cylinder or V6 ?

Is it normal to have that loud growl?
I thought 4runners were quieter.
Pretty sure it’s supercharged

Правильно, надо крутить до 6000 rpm, 5vze любит обороты, как и 3vze
