I notice that this is just a 9 minute walk north of the Academia where Michelangelo's David is displayed in Florence. So, while it is out of the regular tourist path, it is closer to the David statue than the David statue is to the Ponte Vecchio. So I think this proves Rick's point that often non-touristy restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, if you venture off the tourist trend.
