Too many people try to get away with not having enough keys. 20 seconds of animation at 24 frames a second is 480. Even if someone had to add dozens of keys to get the animation to work that still a massive savings in time. People want the program to be a one click solution and it's not there yet.
Thank you! This was a fun experiment. Unfortunately, this specific project has been put on hold. The more we worked on the story outline, the more we realized we would need a bigger group and budget to complete it. We are looking into using EbSynth in a similar way for a smaller mixed media project in the future, though, since we really loved the look that we achieved with these tests.
@@EasySleazyNews I still have yet to dive deep with Ebsynth but as someone who has been working in the arts for the last two decades I sadly agree... As a freelance animator my biggest issue with clients is usually trying to explain how much time goes into even a small project... I see a lot of new "artists" seeking out one button solutions especially in this generation of tiktok/reels/UA-cam shorts were they push the quick fix swipe and move on... I was going to attempt to use Ebsynth on every 10th frame of a rotoscope for experimenting... One of these days hahaha... I'll post the results if i ever get around to it...
@@recadr5955 that's the story of my work and independent art life... I've learned to seek out smaller projects these days as I feel that situation happens way too often sadly... Before I got into the film and animation world professionally, I never had any idea of much time goes into it all... Believe me I have to explain it over and over and over again with new clients... haha... either way great job... I look forward to see your future projects...
i too have managed it as flawless, it's just a matter of using more keyframes. i usually do 1 keyframe every 10 to 20 frames (which is still work but it comes out great)
awsome work. you don't have to at all. But using the Mitch model from XNALara DeviantArt as the longest survivor of his group, could you possibly create a horror survival movie where all the charactors are hunted and killed off one by one with Mitch as the last one to die using the models from TWD final season along with all the other DeviantArt TWD final season models like Willy Aasim James Marlon Tennessee Louis Omar AJ Minerva Clementine Violet Brody Ruby? ...
Not bad. Not bad. The art style really helps to hide the jankiness that EbSynth can cause in a shot. Good work
I rarely see someone using Ebsynth so flawlessly... 90% of the time it usually has at least a few glitches...
