You should think about joining the various players card programs in Vegas. They aren't just for gamblers, they often times give points just for spending at the resorts, and given the amount of money you spend on food and beverage you would likely get room offers.
Especially MLife, with Pearl or higher you get free parking at any MGM property, which makes traversing the Strip that much easier! Now that Cosmopolitan will be one of their properties, even better!

A lot of people complain about resort fees but I don’t mind them. It’s true it’s just the cost of the room that they could put into the actual cost. With “resort fees” they can offer you comps instead of a discounted room rate. Great marketing tactic :D

Hey Coolist, just curious did you have any thoughts on MGM acquiring the Cosmopolitan recently? I personally enjoy staying at non-MGM properties and the Cosmopolitan was one of the few gems near the Fountains that was still around. I guess I'll be going to the Wynn, Encore, Palazzo and Venetian more often. Any suggestions for people who want to enjoy that luxury Vegas strip experience without MGM being involved? Also any thoughts on the Circa Resort & Casino in Fremont? Love your videos, keep it up.
MGM doesn't have the best track record of improving hotels after their acquisition. The cosmo was already on a slight downtick pre-acquisition, and MGM's frugal, profit-first mentality could certainly affect the overall guest experience in a negative way, as it has historically at the Mirage and others. I'd like to keep an optimistic open mind, but the cosmo's best days could be in the past. However, MGM supporters are quite ecstatic over this news I'm sure. Check out my circa video if you haven't seen it - I had an awesome stay there.
@@Coolist I agree, Cosmo was on a downturn & MGM will probably penny-pinch some of the luster away. I do wish they'd try to improve properties rather than just profiteer! Someone said they can't wait for Secret Pizza to become a Sbarros😂🤣
It was the company that owns Panda Express that purchased it. They do y have a rewards system in place yet so that’s why MGM comes in, granted they decide not to go with Hilton Honors reward system.
I started staying at Vdara years ago because it was washers and dryers and was super nice years ago. Now its a dump and a party hotel. The corner suits are nice but the people in the hotel across the street watch people in the Vdara, it's creepy.

And starting Feb 1 2022, resort fees are waived for gold level or higher. M-life is changing to MGM rewards.
