    Actually it's about missing your childhood, or times when you were playing that game. That is what nostalgia is about.

    This reminds me of times where I'd just stay up for hours on end just playing oblivion. Thats one thing I really love about the game and that makes it better than skyrim IMO it has a lot more chill quests, you know ones where you don't have to kill a lot of shit you just do other stuff. Best game ever

    Because you will never get the same expirience as when you played the game for the first time.

    You know, on my first character. I was a young Nord. The first hours (gameplay sessions) I didn't venture out of the Imperial City. I was such a noob at the time, I had no idea of the map. So I had no idea of the world beyond the city. The dangers beyond these walls. So I did small jobs and stuff in the city and saved money for some supplies and a horse and after many gameplay sessions i finall ventured out of the City.
    I tell you, it was an adventure! I discovered Bruma and fell in love, haha

    this makes me sad, for reasons of nostalgia, and for reasons of the simple fact that after playing all the games, i know that from morrowind, about 100 or so years passed to oblivion, and then from oblivion, 300 years passed to Skyrim.
    How far have we fallen? What has been lost? The blades have begun, risen to greatness, fell, and are at last rebuilding after nearly being wiped from existence.
    Oh how the mighty have fallen, how the great have been thrown down.
    Long live the Empire! Glory to Tiber Septim! BY THE NINE!

    • @ThePlasticGuitarz
      @ThePlasticGuitarz 10 років тому +2

      Even scarier is this fact: It didn't take place over the span of 400 years, but even less than that.
      Canon dictates that Morrowind and Oblivion are only six years apart, and that Skyrim occurs only 200 (or 201) years after the end of Oblivion.

      The true empire is that which stood at the end of oblivion. The skyrim empire is a dead, lifeless husk.

    There is a mod that let's you put whatever music you desire in Skyrim. And you can also select which track to play depending on the situation.( dungeons, combat etc.)
    It's called: Personalized Music - Add your own music to Skyrim by No_Aardvarks_Allowed
    I also did add some tracks from Oblivion.

    You don't seem to understand. Everyone is talking about the experiences they've had whilst playing Oblivion, you can't just recapture those experiences. Those memories are all they have left of it. This music reminding them of these experiences and helping them remember. You can try play Oblivion again, but you will NEVER, ever, be able to get those memories back again :(

    This is why I personally love Oblivion so much more than Skyrim. Skyrim didn't have the Elderscrolls feel to it. Skyrim was still a fucking brilliant game though. :P
