A very impressive landscape, well shot and well extracted.

This is very timely. Just before viewing this, I was editing a Lake District view which had very garish greens in the near distance. Following your use of RGB primaries, I managed to calm them down. It's a module I have not used before so many thanks.
As a final tweak to your image, I find the sandstone (?) cliff (lower right hand side) rather bright and distracting and I would have used a drawn mask to turn down the brightness.

"Stitched in an app that will not be named" - meaning while the raw processor is free, the stitching app isn't. Still appreciate the landscape editing videos using Darktable!

Haha, yes. It was stitched a couple of years ago in Lightroom, for reference. But it could definitely be stitched for free in Hugin - I will try and make a video of the full process at some point.

@@DarktableLandscapes I'd like that! I've used Hugin myself a couple of times. I now have an adobe subscription that I intend to stop. Lightroom is powerful and I think that Darktable is a little rougher to use and not as refined. But it still gets the job done if you know what you're doing. Best of all is that it's free - no need for a super annoying subscription to use it. Thank you for posting your landscape editing videos, they are really helpful and inspiring!

Nice work done in the color balance rgb module. I've noticed that you go for really dark shadows in a lot of your edits, almost to the point of crushing them. Do you ever toggle your clipping indicators or are you not wanting that to influence your edit? Not being critical by the way, just asking.

I'm just not a big fan of the kind of flat, slightly artificial look that comes from keeping lots of shadow and highlight detail 😊
