Steins;Gate was a work that left a deep mark on me. Because of it, I started writing a book with everything I would like to see in a story... Now I work and attend college, but I plan to return to writing soon.
I can't believe the timing that I'm coming across this video. I mean I just rewatched the steins gate anime after many years of not remembering it. Then out of pure curiosity I searched steins gate then filtered by videos made in the past week and this video showed up. the video that was posted 6 days ago had I snuffed my curiosity for 2 days longer I would not have seen this video
your production quality is definitely something else, definitely underrated. I just finished steins;gate but do not like watching content about it very much, however, still wanted to give your video interaction to hopefully boost the stats a lil bit. I hope you find the success you deserve.
I really enjoyed listening to your reflections in this video! I read Steins;Gate for the first time just earlier this year with zero experience with it beforehand (something apparently exceedingly rare due to how popular the anime was). While it didn't strike a chord with me the way its predecessor had I still absolutely loved it, the highs of the story were so phenomenal I wish I could re-experience them blind again.
Thank you for the kind words! With regards to Steins;???, I guess I don't really know what to think until they give more details on it. Just based on its concept, I think it has the potential to be one of the most interesting SciADV entries. It can be a character study as powerful as Chaos;Child while also being very useful to the overarching series like Anonymous;Code. At the same time, I'm very worried that since it's a Steins; title, for business reasons, they'll completely avoid addressing wider series mysteries in favour of making the game appeal to Steins;Gate onlies as much as possible. At that point, it'd just be another filler entry in the series.
guys guys i think steins gate is coming back. go watch their 15 years anniversary video closely it says steins gate will continue and theres a phone call ............... L PSY CKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGROOO
We've known for 4 years actually. Back in October 2020, they announced Steins;???, which would be a thematic sequel to Steins;Gate the same way that Chaos;Child is to Chaos;Head. The 15th anniversary teaser didn't really say anything new. But we might hear more in a couple days during the 15th anniversary live event. Tatsuya Mastubara's recent interview with Crunchyroll highlights how they're in the planning stages for a new SciADV entry.
Do you know of any interviews or any content that covers the making of steins gate? For eg any commentary of sorts from the creators regarding the conception especially from Naotaka Hayashi as he wrote the scenario.
Steins;Gate has a lot of that kind of stuff lying around. There's plenty of interviews and such on the internet but there's a lot of official guidebooks out there too. The guidebooks give pretty cool insight into the series and its development. One of them very funnily enough lays out how the reason Steins; sub-series mechanics work is because of *the extremely obvious truth about the nature of the SciADV world*. The same guidebook also explains the dream sequence taking place 70 million years ago.

With that production value, tight script and a pleasant voice you're gonna go far!
