I'm really surprised a major network hasn't snapped you up as a talent! You are so natural at these tours and interviews! But I'm so glad you are here on UA-cam and in control of your own content! ❤
Linda, I’ve watched some other gardening UA-cam and I noticed you are really lucky to have Stuart! Those others make you I’ll watching. Yours, you don’t even notice the camera work because it’s so good. Well done Stuart.
This episode was special! The garden was all that a yard could be, absolutely lovely! The kindness and respect that you showed to all the ladies are much appreciated. Have a great day and a big thank you Stuart, your talent makes everything better. If I were nearer, I"d make sangria. Always good on a hot day,
I love driving around older neighborhoods.... the people who are in cars behind me aren't very understanding about my slow driving. The houses have such humongous yards and are landscaped so beautifully. I think they were built during a time when people took pride in their yards and wanted to showcase them and make them feel welcoming.
This was a beautiful garden and the ladies are just lovely! What a great group to be friends with. I always ride through the older neighborhoods here in Baton Rouge. I love looking at the gardens and the architecture of the homes.
Beautiful tour! Thank you. I live in a New England town, population about 25,000. Many towns here are hundreds of years old so there are lots of interesting homes. Plymouth is America's hometown and about 40 minutes away where the Mayflower lives in the harbor.
I so enjoyed the ladies and the native garden. So precious is her private area. You looked so refreshing in your outfit. I too love the summer loose fitting dresses. Thank you so much for these kinds of garden visits.
As to your Question of the Day: I live in a 1905 Dutch Colonial in a mid-sized city in Wisconsin. I’m 3 blocks from the downtown. Many lovely historic neighborhoods in my city. Thanks for the wonderful tour!
So lovely and interesting just watching and listening to you ladies. Linda this is so nice to see how other people garden and the plants they choose for their gardens. Thank you for doing these videos for us!! ❤️😊
Linda, you are so real and humble. Please don’t change. And of course I love all your videos and learn so much from you. Your inspirations have elevated my yard to look their verybest. I wish I could come to Oklahoma just to see your gardens. God bless you for being you!
I love your dress and the jewelry all looked great! Great bag, too. I really enjoyed this garden and all our new friends. ; ) Answer of the Day: I live in a rural area, bordering the woods of Tyler State Park. But I grew up in Tyler, TX, which has a spectacular thriving historic neighborhood near downtown. They have Spring azalea trails and Tyler boasts the largest municipal rose garden in the world, which is at its best in May and October. Cheers!
Linda,I love driving through old neighborhoods just to see the curb appeal and color,of gardens and front door colors. I live in a old logging town,2.5 miles out,in a small ranch,at the base of a mountain.
What a beautiful garden!! I think most of us think of the Dayliles that grow in the ditches everywhere but now they have some out there that look like peony’s!! One beautiful one is Siloam peony display!!! 🌸🌸
Stroudsburg, PA has a wonderful downtown with many late 1800s buildings and three streets with beautifully maintained late 1800's-Early 1900's homes. We dearly love touring the bungalow areas in Pasada, CA, too.
I just love this video so much I had to come back and watch it again. The exterior of this home, the garden and the ladies in this video are so inspiring and lovely. 🌺🦋❤
A great video, showcasing a lovely outdoor space in your majestic it’s In Oklahoma! I was charmed at the end by the group of mimosa ladies, all pouring out the door, sooo cute😊
Also, your outfit of the day is downright mesmerizing,it truly defines the look of casual summertime clothes, comfort and style. You are very good at that!
Such a beautiful garden and enjoyed all of the conversations as well!! I did live out in the sticks but the city moved out to me!! I love seeing the older homes and the gardens!! Thank y’all so much!!
Hi Linda and Stewart That was such a nice visit and I really enjoyed how you ended it with the nice group of women. You both have a great job here doing this through yt. Excellent work today. See you live tomorrow !
Hi, I was out in my yard early today to beat the heat, and came in to cool off. What a beautiful surprise to this garden experience. You never cease to amaze me with your open spirit to learn from another gardener. I am well aware of your experience and knowledge, but am learning from you how to be more open minded. I truly loved watching these beautiful friends open their love of friendship and their love of gardening. I had shared a glass of wine and showed off my work today too. Thank you ❤
Love this tour. Liked the house and gardens especially the courtyard area. Lovely women. I think you could find great old houses in most towns and cities. I lived in Evansville and worked downtown. I walked at lunch time to see the old Victorian Homes overlooking the Ohio river other areas also had Tudor styles and others. I now live in the country by fields of corn and beans. Wildlife fir neighbors
Love the older homes and gardens, that's why I watch your youtube! Our house is in a historic district and the neighborhood gets together for different activities, tomorrow Yoga in the park. I love our house, but it needs a lot of work. My husband and I spent the day looking for windows to replace the rotting ones. I am not a DIY person when it comes to the house stuff, but I love working in our garden. Keep up all the fun and creative work you are doing and encouraging those who want to make their house a home.
I really love your videos. You are always kind and I thought it was very thoughtful what you said at the end about sharing your new friends with your community. Also loved your sandals!
Yes, we have an older neighborhood in downtown Coeur d'Alene ID and I love driving through it. I've always loved driving through older neighborhoods. I've mentioned before, but Stuart is excellent with the camera. Thanks for the tour of Barbara's beautiful yard.
When I plant lavender I make a trench and fill 1 to 2 inches of rocks then fill with compost and soil, before I plant the lavender. Made a huge difference because the rocks help with drainage. Lavender does not like wet feet.
Yes! I live in a northwestern suburb of Chicago and we have loads of older neighborhoods that are full of charm throughout the area! One of our favorite drives to take is up Sheridan Road starting in Evanston. The homes and landscaping is fabulous!
What a wonderful garden and a new group of gardening friends. I loved the ending. Going to cruise Amazon to find those dresses with the pockets. Need to get out of shorts and capris in our hot, humid weather in Southeast FL.
Such a fantastic video! I loved this bungalow garden tour. The daylilies are spectacular! I paused this video & found a daylily grower in my area who has the "Fire on the Mountain" bright red-orange with yellow center daylily & ordered two of them. I love daylilies & iris! (Really I love all plants) I have a friend in my garden club who recently skid she didn't get daylilies since its flowers just lasted one day until she realized how many buds each plant has. Lol! This garden was so gorgeous! Lovely lady & friends! Your dress is beautiful! I love old historic houses. I lived in one in downtown Atlanta for 27 years. Neighborhood house tours are so fun!

TONS of old neighborhoods in and around the Pittsburgh area - some well kept and loved, some not. Some have stayed single one-family homes, but many have been converted into apartments. Barbara, I love your older Golden retriever - I have a 13 year old and he is my 3rd. My fav breed for sure. You have a wonderful group of friends. We live in a 1948 brick bungalow neighborhood, everyone takes pride in their yards and home not everyone gardens but everyone keeps their area clean..I retired in 2019 and have added raised beds and a 40 by 6 foot street side bed this year !
Loved all those adorable ladies who bombed you at the end, my kind of crew! Mimosa's for everyone in the GARDEN! Heavenly! We are off to our home in Colorado as I love those summers in the mountains...I will watch for you and your husband possibly in the streams fly-fishing!

What a delightful surprise! I just stepped inside to get out of the dreadful heat, and thought "Wonder what Linda & Stewart are up to today?" And....here you are! I don't have the ingredients for a mimosa, but I poured a glass of OJ and am sitting down to spend time with dear friends! Thanks guys!🍷🍷
When I purchased my older home in East Texas, I also had some steep steps and no railings. I covered up the steps with a wooden deck, railings and perfect steps, 4 ft wide. It allows my to have planters on the railing and Japanese Maples in pots on the deck. A little cozy place to sit. Love hearing about your new journey❤
I live in an older neighborhood, very thriving, active and desirable. We are about 10 minutes from downtown. All home styles are different, from 1920’s and 30’s tudors and bungalows, to 40’s colonials, to 50’s and 60’s ranches. It all flows beautifully.
What an amazing tour. I had to do catch-up with this one but I knew by the photo that it was a must! Beautiful people! More of the same please Linda! x
Hello Linda, Stewart and all our new friends . What a gorgeous garden , thanks for sharing . I had just finished weeding our veggie garden and corn garden to come in and see a tour of the beautiful day lillies and other fun flowers .. I needed the break , now I want a mimosa 😁🥂, I'll settle for a glass of reisling . Cheers all 💛
Linda I am so impressed these are all interested in gardening. Some people thinks when they reach a certain age let's sit down and cry for pain or old age get active in your garden, and home. Age is only a number get friends who are constructive and active. Very Very proud of all those ladles go girls go. I am also a gardener from Trinidad.
Great loved the garden and all the ladies, I know it is difficult to source these gardens, but they are so wonderful, so keep finding them. I have learned so much about your state and city. LOVE IT
Jenny on Gardening with Creekside had a vine growing in her raised bed and it was an invasive parasite plant. Linda, your friend may want to check and make sure the little vine she showed is not the same. The daylilies are beautiful! Thank you for taking me along.
What a lovely trio!! So fun. love those daylillies. The whole episode. Thank you. Oh my!! Beautiful ladies. I had to edit my comment to include all the lovely ladies.
I've always loved driving through neighborhoods. Makes me feel like I belong & get ideas for gardens. Loved the arched door & window. Love your outfit & did Stewart have a nice trip to Vegas? My daughter has lived in Boulder City for about 35 years. Completely different than Vegas area.
What a beautiful garden. Those daylilies! I live in a prairie city in Canada. Population is about 1.2 million. My home was built in 1968. I'd love to live in the older inner city areas of the city but those homes are often v expensive. Two of the gardens were open to our horticulture society members a couple of weeks ago - it was such a treat. We've had drought conditions for a few years but we're having a lot of cool weather and rain this year. The plants are loving it.
Thank you so much for this tour. I enjoyed the tour and truly enjoyed the conversation. This made me want to move back to Oklahoma City and enjoy the neighborhoods that I used to love to ride up and down the streets with my parents. Please keep tours like this on your channel.T
I used to drive through this beautiful, older neighborhood now and then to see all the foliage grown up, and admire the older homes. Used to live in one back in the 70's, and 80's. Love it. Now, we're older and in a newer neighborhood so I must travel to see the older ones, in Suburbs of Portland, Oregon. This was a great video. beautiful garden tour. How fun to have all these ladies pop out of the house. I was all smiles. You ladies are lovely and Linda, you always look so put together. So enjoyed it. thank you. love, hugs, prayers.
I am not a big fan of day lilies, but some of those frilly day lilies are making me change my mind. Maybe I could insert 2 or 3 into my flower beds provided I can find some really unusual ones like the ones in this garden. On the clothing, I wear dresses, dresses, dresses and if they are sleeveless, even better. I used to wear Levis and tops and they were cold in the winter and boiling in the summer.
I'm really surprised a major network hasn't snapped you up as a talent! You are so natural at these tours and interviews! But I'm so glad you are here on UA-cam and in control of your own content! ❤
What a nice thing to say :-)

Orange juice toasting in group at the end of above video is very nice 👍 👌
