Knots2U made a tail cone for a 182 and that sucker did not fit right. The bottom is supposed to be rounded but the after market one was sorta squared. We had to use a heat guna nd sort of force it to bend but it didn't do anything in the long run. Plus, no cut out for the tail becon, cmooooon. Lol, not a fun project at all.
Dear aircraft parts suppliers, can we please just get fairings that fit. All of the fiberglass pieces for this 172 came from Stien Aviation and needed some trimming and massaging to fit right.

I noticed the plane was painted before you replaced the windows. how did you address the new rivets with no paint on them?
I honestly just left them Eventually I would like to touch up the paint on the whole aircraft as the wingtips and rudder cap are still primer gray.

What is the part number of the rivet that you use on the windshield front retainers... cool!!!
I don't remember the exact part number, but they are cherrymax 5-3 rivets
