My first camping trip of the New Year 2024!~ Join me and my dog Lucky for some winter camping nearby Vancouver, called Porteau Campgrounds. It's about a 30 minute drive from the city - convenient for a spontaneous getaway. I was blessed with some sun, which made setting up a breeze. I was able to get comfortable quickly and truly relax as I admired the amazing view of the mountains and ocean.
Porteau is a good pick during the colder seasons, not only for it's proximity to the city, but as one of the few campgrounds with electrical hookups. I was warm and toasty inside the tent with my heater going. Though I have to say, with spring around the corner, I often found myself not needing a jacket!
With spring around the corner, the sounds of the seals were especially loud - something to definitely look out for at Porteau. Nevertheless, I had one of the best camping experiences and got to unwind in nature. So grab a cup of tea or coffee, and relax with me!

LOL, I had friends who stayed at Porteau during the March/April long weekend and all they could complain about was the seals sounding off all night long. I always try to get to Porteau at least once a year. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Great job setting up the tent! Very nice how you setup the camping furniture! I am gonna have to get a nice case like that to store my tent stakes and rope! The awesome view of that beautiful mountain surrounded with the water and the clouds hovering over the top! Spectacular ! That scenic view looks like you still in Korea! The seasoned beef looked delicious with the fried veggies and steamed rice wrapped in lettuce! Yum! Can never go camping without a beautiful campfire you had! Looks like Lucky had a fun time running around along the waterfront! The sounds of the seals really give it the nice camping atmosphere! Another great relaxing camping !🤩😍💯🤤😋💯👍👊💪

I like camping but I never go in winter because where I go it’s bushcraft, maybe I could try a campsite with power
I’ve seen videos of Korean campers in rain or snow and nothing stops these girls
Don’t the seals ever sleep,if some Orcas came bye they would be quiet 😆
