Marcellus Wiley recently discussed comments made by Steve Stoute about Black people refraining from working with Skip Bayless. Wiley disagreed with Stoute's viewpoint, stating that he does not engage in identity politics. Vlad further added that Stoute himself has collaborated with numerous individuals from diverse races to reach his current level of success. Wiley argued that imposing racial boundaries in professional collaborations is deceptive and ultimately pointless. He emphasized that people shouldn't limit themselves to particular 'lanes' due to their race. Skip literally put on SAS and Shannon. He saw their talent and put them on a broader stage for them to shine. Same with even Carri Champion. She was already working on ESPN but he exposed her to the wider audience by bringing her on to first take. Skip has really put on.
Ok let’s talk about what he benefited from putting them on because this is the corporate world they just don’t do things for you it has to make sense from a branding & marketing perspective all of those guys are personable congenial humorous and has great content appeal to to broader audience which affects the overall bottom line

The problem I have with being anti-identity politics, is that it’s always some Black American preaching this to other Blacks, encouraging us to just get along. While I agree in most situations we should as Americans and humans always strive for integration, in all things. I also believe in business and politics, all other groups and races, think identity first and everyone else second or third if at all. All. This is why the average educated Black makes less than the non-educated White. Because people stick together by Identity and race. In fact there’s no visible way that Black Americans can become more economically, socially, or politically relevant by not sticking together, because as I said, all other groups working towards benefitting their own. Marcellus talks as if America is meritocracy, like brotha why do you think the cream that seems to always rise to the top is White?
Marcellus has focused on abandoning his roots and reinventing himself so much, he's lost sense of reality. He can deny the truth all he wants but America will always view him as Black first and foremost.
