This is my first San Martin, and I'm very impressed. What do you guys think of this one? I think they hit this one way out of the park. Thanks for watching, and thanks for taking the time to comment. If you enjoy the video please consider subscribing. God bless!!
San Martin are definitely some very well made watches the ones I've had have all been very good quality. Love that they've used the ST19 movement in this one would've been nice to have had an exhibition caseback as that movement is stunning to look at.
Looks so good man! I'm biased as a fan of Tudor of course, but I think the fact they used the ST1901 movement really gives this one some extra respect points. An exhibition caseback would have been cool so you could see the beautiful movement, but for the 100M WR, a solid caseback is a fair tradeoff. My alpha has the exhibition caseback, but is only 50M WR so there's def some give a take to each pro/con. Will be looking forward to the full review buddy! I hope they make the steel and gold version someday! 😎🍻👍
This will be my first San Martin as well it's on its way. They have sent me one with a longer minute hand they said, as they are changing them. I did ask about a screw-down crown, and they said it's not in the plans at this time. I can't wait for mine to arrive!!! Great video!!! From Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Hey , Chris thank you, and I am a part Time (former full time) minister as well! And I’m in Ontario Canada how ya like that!! You won’t be disappointed this is a well made watch. Some minor issues that I have encountered but nothing to avoid purchase over. Did you get sake or white dial panda version?
@Mirrly on Time Watch Reviews Thats fantastic!!! I have been appointed the office of Bishop in the new year. I ordered the black dial one as well, but would Love to get the white to have the set!!! But I will have to wait until sometime in the new year. Many blessings!!!
Very nicely done mate, this is on my my favourite they produce a the minute, the quality appears to be awesome for the price. Glad they went with the seagull movement in it as its brilliant. Will keep an eye out for the review.
Great unboxing, Chris. The San Martin looks beautiful as does the reverse color way. As I was checking it out on Alie Express, they "threw" this watch up to look at. "Sugess New Business Watch Mechanical Chronograph ST19 Seagull Swaneck Movement Prem wristwatches Army Pilot Reloj Hombre Sappire." It is a homage to a Chinese pilot's watch of the 60's era. Looks very nice and I have never seen that brand before. It has the same movement as the San Martin (I think) but has a display back. Might be worth checking out for a future review. It is a rather unique looking watch. God Bless!!
Yes Ken!!! It is a watch I have in my Ali cart! Almost 50 percent cheaper as well, I easily could have got it already, but really wanted this one. Def will be getting it as well in 2022!!
Hey Chris, is that Farr&Swit a preview of what's next on the channel? Quite curious how you'll like the ST19 in this. I have a 1963 with the same movement which i like quite a bit. The watch is indeed quite pretty. What I really like with San Martin (beyond the usually well done finishing and decent qc) is the finishing of the hands. The caps covering the pinions always impress me. Oh nevermind, you clear up the Farr&Swit situation at the end of the video lol.
It is a fantastic watch. I find though that I’m not wearing it as often as I thought so I’m going to give this one away once I reach 2000 subscribers, thanks for watching and please subscribe m8! God bless
Hi Lee…..that’s the real question, I will be doing a comparison video with a pagani (though not same homage), and I wasn’t aware Parnis had the same one I’ll check it out for sure. Merry Christmas! Thanks for watching and commenting m8
Exactly the same reason why I love homage watches and budget watches I have plenty of awesome watches (imo) in my collection now, giving me a variety to choose from, or, I could have saved every dollar I spent on those and got one luxury time piece……subsequently no watches to talk about on a UA-cam channel….the decision was easy to make. That said, I really want to get myself a Breitling!!! Thanks for watching and commenting m8, God bless and happy new year
Thanks FC, wouldn’t be a Tudor homey without that hour hand would it haha, and yeah lots of branding, I don’t mind it personally but I can see where others would prefer less, sometimes less is more thanks for watching and God bless m8!

Looks well made I've never had hands on with San Martin watches they look great probably worth the price love the new case they created
Definitely well made sixto, the price diff is noticeable in quality for sure

Yea that’s what I understand, a shame forge and foster didn’t utilize one like that, would have made it a complete winner.

Thanks David! Yeah an exhibition caseback would definitely have been a nice touch! But I’m very happy overall with it it is a beautiful piece!
I own several san martins. They are expensive but worth it.
Agree definitely worth the money spent thanks Dre!!
Great watch. Great video. Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you Bill Merry Christmas. Watch for another great watch this Wednesday :)
A very cool looking watch from a brand I really like. I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the review mate 👍👍
Thanks Simon, much to be impressed about with this one for sure

Thanks Wes, will be a few weeks before the review comes out as I’m not doing any full review until 2022
Great job on the video, fair to say this one will give you the feels before making such a large purchase.
Thanks Omar! Full review will be dropping in the new year, definitely impressed with San Martin for sure

Haha yep umboxing of that one drops this Wednesday, it’s an awesome watch, I love it
The Tudor doesn't have a ceramic bezel inlay like the San Martin, why I wonder at the price it is.
Good question, is it aluminum or steel what is it then?
@Mirrly on Time Watch Reviews it is aluminum, that will scratch easy to, and fade, I prefer ceramic for sure.
@@scriner11 that is surprising indeed at the price point for sure
Omg that’s a stunner.
It is a fantastic watch. I find though that I’m not wearing it as often as I thought so I’m going to give this one away once I reach 2000 subscribers, thanks for watching and please subscribe m8! God bless
I have seen a few reviews that say the parnis chronograph homage is as good for a third of the price. Maybe do a comparison if you can get hold of one

@@MirrlyonTime yes it looks good for the money worth a look 👍
It's a milled clasp I believe?
Yes it is.
Doh, just realized I did say pressed clasp 🤦♂️ I will add a subtitle on the video for the correction thanks for catching that!!
Automatic?
Mechanical hand wound yes
@@MirrlyonTime website says it’s hand wind only. I’d love to get an automatic version.
@@jonboy8181 yeah it is hand wind only :)
Watches like this make me ask myself why I paid over $5k for the real one!!?? Beautiful watch!

I'd appreciate pencil hands and no branding on bracelet and crown

Yes, that's the point: better be inspired by Tudor, not a direct copy.
