I like to watch animal behavior. Sometimes quizzical, other times obvious. Even birds have varying behavioral patterns. They change seasonally, hourly, weather wise, etc. Once in a while, animals look at us with curiosity. Often with wariness. Sometimes with attempts at communicating. Blue jays look with scorn. THE WAY YOUR DRESSED: Thisxis how we Dressed , years ago; Wool Military surplus Pants, or Other brand Green wool pants. Traditional Red/ Black Jacket like yours. Great Idea, WHITE MEAT CUTTERS GLOVES, inside Mitts to absorb sweat. I do the same and also inside of Mechanic NITRILE Gloves , to avoid watery sweat. We should have used a pack , like your doing; holds alot of extras!! Brought back good Memories. THANK YOU!

Crunch, crunch, crunch...impossible to walk quietly in frozen snow, frustrating while hunting. Powder, fluff or slush is way better. Mother nature making you work harder for the score. Cool you have a doe tag, they could be herding up and not moving as much as they were previously seen. Nice seeing all the bucks, maybe your dad will tag out. Great video, well done. I have never been able to shoot anything with the rifle slung over my shoulder. Too much movement and noise trying to bring it to bear on the target. I like to be as ready as possible in case anything shows up. Good luck finding that doe.
CALIBER??, Glad you mentioned that! I have watched Hundreds of hunting videos and " We hunters" just want to know". Because of the way he is dressed, " OLD FASHION TRADITIONAL", I'm guessing he is using a 30 06, cal, 308, cal, or 270 cal. He just seems very , died in the Wool old school.
ya gotta like those deep woods spots where deer don't know what people are... reminds me of Canada remote crown-land I've hunted ... I've had does stomp there foot at me because I was in there way, or too close.. ("you're not a bear, you're not a wolf... get outa here")
Besides being illegal it’s also not very sportsmanlike to use someone else’s tag. In fact it’s called poaching which means that if you are caught cheating like that you could lose your hunting license

In Alberta can you only shoot a doe with your antlerless tag? her in Ontario and antlerless tag is also good for a buck - but of course without it you can only take a buck. Great footage. God bless on the remainder of the hunt.
