- This is my custom Forsaken Race that I was working on! Note that this is my concept and it is not an official Blizzard statement.
As promised - here is the Forsaken Race gameplay that placed second in the race poll!
I have done all possible to puzzle in a faction from all available resources currently in the editor. Had there been more present resources, such as Town Hall skins - I would have not used the Necropolis, but I believe the final product turned out quite nice.
A few changes - I have edited Sylvanas's abilities:
- I have replace "Black Arrow" with " Banshee Scream" which is basically "Shockwave" with different animation. As the current concept uses Dreadguards, who are using the Skeleton model there would have been confusion on the battlefield for you to understand which is a "Deadguard" and which a "Skeleton Minion"
- I have changed "Charm" to "Lament of the Highbourne", which turns Sylvanas into a Banshee with Chaos Damage.
Apologies to those who expected Val'Kyr, but such are not present within the World Editor, hence, I was unable to add them. In their place, the "Undercity Guardian" will need to suffice.
Another cool addition - I have changed a few of the Human units as I thought it would be a great idea to place the Forsaken against The Scarlet Crusade in order to fit the theme:
- Footman - Crusader ( using the Captain skin )
- Rifleman - Spearman
- Paladin - Grand Inquisitor ( using Lord Nicholas Buzan skin)
- Archmage - High Inquisitor ( using Jaina skin)
Last, but not least - The next upcoming custom race will be the Satyrs, which finished third on the poll.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the Forsaken Race gameplay and idea.

Nice job as always dude! Showcasing the bright future of Reforged. I am still not sold on some visual aspects, the main one being a lack of distinct color but they are listening to feedback so that is subject to change. Anyways, looking forward to the Satyrs, keep up the good work!
Its good especially the visuals and units but the buildings and the effect still look like the Scourge... It would be better if its building designs are like haunted horror house theme to really make it look like Forsaken👌👍

Is that Scarlet Crusade for the human? maybe adding giant skeleton for the heavy unit, necromancer for skeleton mage, burning skeleton archer
love your W3 race theory videos. I think the only W3 race youre missing now is the Satyrs. Looking forward to what you come up with

Dude, epic!!!! I always thought they should have fleshed out a better Forsaken Roster.
The only thing is I sort of imagined Dark Ranger, Death Knights, Undercity Guardian, and Apothecary for the heroes but with different spells.
Shadow priest for healer, and like I dunno Unholy Horseman for heavy melee. You did a great job though!
How u make these custom races ?

very cool! i like the archers and apothecaries. but maybe you should have used a different voice for the worker units, they sound weirdly articulate for being gaping zombies lol, why not ghoul?

Hm, if China ends up getting zombie versions of all the skeleton models made, it'll do wonders for Forsaken conversions, huh?
Cool stuff. Love this race conversion stuff, and always thought the campaign under-served the Forsaken, given how the basis for their creation seems to have been to create a faction of playable, individualistic Undead for WoW and yet TFT still had them running on magocratic master-slave Scourge rules.
I won't beleaguer you with my own armchair theories about how a Forsaken race mod should work, but I will suggest "Dredge" as a name for the Forsaken laborer unit. It was the name of an Undead worker unit in the War 3 beta before Acolytes, and it's totally perfect for a people who after this game are going to end up deciding to live in a big toilet.

1 small thing. Me and other map editors (not includiong this Guy) have decided to Make a coop like în star craft but with The Teams from watcraft. They will be lore based and won t include stuff from wow (Because my team doesn t like it). It is a huge project which will Take a lot to be completed.
With no corelance, if you have The old warcraft you can GO on hive workshop and search for a full custom and well made team there. You just need to select download and then move it into The warcraft s custom map files.

You should make races based on how the WoW factions should have been:
Alliance
Human, Dwarf, Gnome
Mages, Priests
Horde
Orc, Troll, Tauren
Shaman, Warlocks
Sentinels
Night Elf, Furbolg, Worgen
Priestess, Druids
Forsaken
Undead, Blood Elf, Leper Gnome (It would be naga but naga can't have mounts in WoW and leper gnomes fit the lore)
Spell Thief, Necromancer
I hope this gets updated with character models to look more like the WoW versions.
