CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX CREATION
1 boxed chocolate cake mix
1-1/4 cup buttermilk, or chocolate milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon espresso powder
3 large eggs
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil or Coconut Oil
Mix all ingredients together with an electric mixer on medium low for 2 minutes. Pour into 2 - 8 inch cakes pans that have been buttered and floured. Bake 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes until done. Let cool completely.
Chocolate Frosting recipe:
1 - 16 ounce store bought container Chocolate Frosting
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon Espresso Powder
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave stirring every 10 seconds.
Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl mix together well with an electric mixer.
Slice cakes in Half and frost each layer as you stack them making 4 layers thick. Frost the top and sides. Dip your spatula into hot water if the chocolate frosting gets too hard before finishing.
