I was on Ozempic then switched to Zepbound, lost 60 pounds so far started at 260, was wondering if i go off of it a month if i could then regain the original strength of it when getting on it. Also was repin 275 on bench and can only do 225 so def lost a lot of muscle for sure.

Just started mounjaro for my type 2 diabetes and I’m feeling the effects of it already which is great. I get this through our NHS in England. Our NHS is the best ❤️ your upload on this explains it very well even though I had all the leaflets and information sent to me by my diabetic nurse. Hearing it explained is better than reading on paper .

Im sure everyones body is different. I was put on ozempic because I weighed 380lbs and my doctor thought for sure I had diabetes. But after the testing come back negative for diabetes my insurance stoped paying for it. BUT!!!, After being on ozempic for 5weeks It trained my body to live on 1000 calories or less per day. Now 5months later Im down to 290lbs have lost 90lbs. My doctor did have me go up to 1200 calories a day just so i could get more protien in my diet. Its been i life change in eating habbits. ( found out air fryers are just as good as frying with oil ). Im still loosing weight but at about 2lbs a week. Because of the weight coming off it allowed me to get up and move, And boy do i stay active again. The moral to this story is yes the drug does help you make the change in life style eating habbits. But you dont need it to continue. Im 6'4" 59years old and my doctor wants me between 260-280lbs. Then can slowly work up to 1800 calories a day and stay there. He has been right on most everything so far so im going keep on keeping on.

No kidding Dr. Dan. Love your content! Thanks for such a great contribution! I have been on Wegovy 2.4mg for a year now and dropped 90 pounds. Lately, the weight loss has slowed WAAAAY down! Maybe 2 pounds a month now, but hey, I'm in no hurry and so much healthier than before. Diabetes gone! Pain gone! All health markers within normal limits. 30 pounds to go and I'm giving myself another year. Slow and steady wins the race!

Is my situation unusual? In spite of some nasty, but usual side effects, I worked my way up to 1 ml Ozempic and my weight loss, which I had been happy with, stalled totally. I think I felt so tired on the one ml dose that I just was too tired to prepare proper food and overate carbohydrates. I’ve dropped back down to .75 Ozempic weekly. I feel better, eating better cause I’m not too tired to fix proper food and my weight loss has started again.

Sounds like at a lower dose you were able to eat in a calorie deficit more consistently!

spot on.... 270 to 210 ... plateaued at 210 for 4 weeks ... ideal "chart" weight is like 155 lbs (5'7") ... I'd be an absolute skeleton at that weight... looking to hit 180, so I'll have to hit the gym. Used to be a gym rat pre covid.. 3 to 4 times a week, but a back issue and the koof slowed the motivation... guess it's time to start to generate some lactic acid in the tri's, bi's back and quads once again. Intuitavely I knew my plateau was the old calories in calories out... but even at 210, I haven't been this light since the 90's. Thanks for the confirmation and for the always great and informative vids.

Hey, Dr. Dan. I appreciate your videos so much. I began my journey with semaglutide on May 30 so only 2 shots in so far. I have had an appetite increase like never before...ravenous actually. As a result I've gained 2 lbs.😭I'm prioritizing protein, some veg and a few berries. Walking daily. Taking a few supplements. What am I doing wrong? Any thoughts on this and have you heard this happening to others? My doc is perplexed. I am ravenous. Help!

What is a healthy amount of pounds to lose on a glp1? I am thinking 2 pounds max wk or 7 pds max a month. Not sure if that's foolish and I should just lose 9 pounds or x amount whatever is happening. 9 pds a month. Yep I had to eat 1450 calories and I did for like 10 yrs!!
