love getting this Sew Sampler Box each month also. In my second year of subscription and are always happy with what I find in each one~. thank you for sharing, this was fun. I have a hard time deciding so all I can say is I particularly love all the fabric and the seam roller is my favorite of all your boxes.
Wow!!! Welcome to my channel! Congratulations! Would be cool if we could meet up sometime at a Wisconsin Quilt Show! I’m hoping to go to the Winter Quilt show at the Washington County fair grounds on Saturday the 8th of February.
I am so jealous. What a treat. I too learned to quilt on UA-cam during Covid. I have never seen your channel, but I subscribed to help you get to your first 1000. Thanks for sharing. It was fun to watch.
Have all the Sew Samplers except the first one. It takes tubs now to store stuff although I am using so much of it. Watching you reminded me of products I have
What fun to go thru all those boxes! All of that fabric and notions! I could never hold onto them for that long! It was a fun video to watch. Good luck growing your channel. I subscribed!
Thank you for this video! I have been a subscriber of SSB for almost a year and this just encouraged me to keep getting it. Thank you again and I look forward to checking out your channel.
I was so excited to watch your video! Your channel has never come up in my feed before today and I’m sure happy it did! I also love the FQS SEW Sampler boxes. I started quilting about a year ago and have learned so much watching Kimberly’s videos. The notions we get are a great variety and they give you the opportunity to try out something new. So many of the notions have made a big difference in how well my blocks turn out. I received a Sew Sampler box right before my father had to have the lower part of his left leg removed and I was able to make him a quilt that he could use while in a wheelchair. It turned out fantastic, the fabric, Quiet Grace by Kim Diehl, was perfect to use to make a more masculine quilt with a great variety of colors in it that matched the color scheme of my parents’ living room. Thus, the quilt I made is always out for either of my parents to use. Your massive unboxing was so fun to watch and your total of the value of the items only confirmed to me how great this subscription is! I’m now a subscriber to your channel and look forward to seeing new videos that you post. Much luck to you! 😊
Thank you so much! What a journey you had with quilting! FQS is the best in the industry for online quilting and education through their UA-cam channel. I’m so happy to have you here in my channel too! Welcome!
Watching you these was like walking down memory lane. LOL I learn to quilt using UA-cam university. I originally started monthly “Sew Sampler” boxes to build my stash to have when I retire. I have since discontinue and have seriously thought about signing up again. It was always like giving myself a birthday or Christmas gift every month. I never got a box I did not love! I have since shared many of the fabrics that I built up with a friend of mine in her 90’s who quilt. She has given me and three of my friends several wonderful gifts she has made with those fabrics. Sew happy to have stumble on your channel. 🧵🪡
That’s super awesome! You definitely need to treat yourself to the Sew Sampler box once again. It’s my little surprise each month. Welcome to my channel!
I loved this because I too have about twenty four fat quarter boxes I have stacked up . And most of them I have the add on fabrics to make the quilt backing just sitting there with them. But it is so fun to periodically go thru the boxes. I’ve taken most of the notions out but kept the fabric in the box waiting for me to use that fabric to make the quilt . I’m so happy someone else is crazy like me and kept them all!
What a fun unboxing. I love Fat Quarter Shop too. I learn so much from watching and rewatching videos. I have not subscribed to a sew sampler box yet but I do love their holiday boxes. Thank you for sharing your boxes in one video. The subscription looks definitely worth it. I loved the small mat. I want one 😊 Happy Quilting
WHOA!!! That is a lot of Sew Sampler boxes! Dropped in to say hello, watch your video along with comment and like! Hope you're having a great week! Bright Blessings!
I have been getting the sew samplers since the start (I missed the first 2 boxes) I luv luv luv them. I don't look on line to see what's in them. its a surprise every month. I share them with my mother because as you can see things pile up fast. She likes the bright colors, and me not so much so it works out well. I put all the patterns in small binders with the page protectors. and keep them all on file.
I have been getting the box for I believe 7 years and I can count on one hand a box I might not like. I make the quilts up and then use as gifts. Great way to learn and use fabric out of one’s comfort zone
what fun, what positive attitude, thanks for the humor and super positive comments on my favorite sub box company. you are special. I am another new subscriber. Yippee

Loved your video! As I receive my monthly box, first I oooh and awwww over the contents. Then I take out what I want to put to use immediately. The rest of the items go into containers for fabric, notions, foundation papers and a binder for patterns. If a notion goes with a pattern I keep them together. The patterns that I know for sure I will make go into a Sew Sampler Sew box along with the fabric.; these make perfect retreat projects. With Christmas coming I will shop my boxes for items to give to my secret Santa.
Thank you so much! My dealer got me hooked on to Bernina otherwise I’ve been a PFAFF guy for many decades. These boxes definitely stocked up my notions stash. It’s fun to have notions and fabric pre-cuts to share with friends and family too. It’s nice to meet fellow Bernina peeps too!
I really enjoyed the video. I love fat quarter shop and I did get the sew sampler box for a while, but I just don't have time to make so many projects.
I started quilting at the same time Scott and FQS has been so helpful for me too! Kimberley and her whole team have really enriched my quilting journey. Thanks for sharing all these boxes! I've not signed up yet, but am considering maybe putting it on my Christmas wishlist...
Fun video! I subscribed to FQS for a few years and I still look there first when I’m searching for fabrics I can’t find locally. Thanks much! Also - 💕Wisconsin
I’m a brand new quilter, and I started subbing to this box a couple months ago. I think it’s a great way to build out my needed tools and learn the quilting process along the way. New subscriber to your channel too 😊
Well welcome to my channel new fellow quilter! Love it! The boxes really give you a kick start into Quiliting and building your stash. Thank you so much!
Loved your video! Your first box, Oct 2019 was also controversial. I saw many people post that they did not like it. I also loved that box and I am planning to make the blocks and put them together with a Lion King panel that I recently found!
I wish you would have shown me some of the fabrics. What really struck me was the value of your boxes. Thanks for calculating that. I wish I lived in the USA 🇺🇸 for your boxes and deals. I’m 🇨🇦 so it costs too much to ship here
The biggest reason why I didn’t show it, it’s no longer available. I find it difficult to see a fabric I like and then find out it’s not available. But watch my Sew Sampler Unboxings to see current fabrics. I show the fabric cuts in detail on the current boxes, like the November and October boxes. Thanks so much for joining me here and I really appreciate your feedback!
I hear ya, but you have the ability to go back and watch all my unboxings for 2024 & 2023. But stay tuned for another video where I go back and review the fabric precuts in detail! Thanks for the feedback!
I’ve been getting the SS for four years now and even though there have been a few things that weren’t my favourites, I still love getting it. As the name says, it’s a sampler, so you won’t get everything to make a full quilt. Never understood why people get so whiney about it not always being exactly what they want.
lol! I completely agree! What ever I don’t like, I have many friends that would love it. Fat Quarter Shop does so many good things, I feel like I support them by continuing their boxes. Thanks for your awesome comment!
This was so much fun! I think the small ironing/cutting mat was my fav. I've been sewing for over 70 years, but you can never have too much fabric and sewing toys! I'll be "bach".
Very fun. I’ve only purchased one - the July 2024 Liberty box, and loved it. I’ve been quilting for years and have so much fabric and notions, I’m not sure I need more. But I appreciate that you shared the value of the boxes. FQS really is generous in including quality items. Love them!
@QuilterTricia Hi there! this was my 1st.time ever seeing you_ this was alot of Fun.For me the best part was learning about so many notions that were new to me. A little before Pandemic sadly we lost in our Long Beach Ca central area we lost 6 Independant Quilt shops. Some the owners were now grand parents & they felt it was time to retire. Some I think were overwhelmed how to run a store & how to compete W/ online shoppers. Thankfully we still have a Sew & Vac that can offer us gorgeous Berninas.Perhaps for future videos, perhaps take a few seconds at the end od your timr to show us indepth what some of products were for & uses. Just a thought. Thanks again.PS rmy hubby is not a quilter, he,s a model airplane builder & RC flier!
Thanks for your compliment and feedback. This was a unique video as all of my others are a detailed unboxing. Sorry to hear about the loss of quilt shops. That happened here in Wisconsin too during the pandemic. I really only have one shop that’s in my own city. But we get by and support each other. Welcome to my channel!
I enjoyed the boxes until I started getting too many sew emma products. These boxes are a great skill builder for new quilters. And great for adding to your fabric stash along with interesting notions.
I hit the wrong button. Where’s my ripper?! Anyway… I loved watching you unpack 2 years of Fat Quarter boxes. Blew me away. You have a new fan and I can’t wait to start watching more of your content.
Love your enthusiasm! I bought the sew sampler box for probably 8 months then discontinued. Although the value is there i got tired of receiving many notions that were repeats abd decided to xancel. I still occasionally purchase the seasonal box. Some i was very excited for and others not so much. I decided i kind of outgrew any monthly kit and purchase what i want when i want it! Works better for me 😊
I think that’s totally legit! I stoped my box for a whole year. But I decided to try them again and then started filming unboxings. I’m glad you did what works best for you! Thank you for your awesome comment!
Your channel popped up in my feed, and what a kind human you appear to be. I subscribed right away and gave you a thumbs up. My thoughts on subscribing are that it doesn't cost me anything, and if someone goes to all the trouble of making a video, I give a thumbs up. KEEP UP THE KINDNESS. Much love and appreciation your way. Tracy from Idaho
Wisconsin.....my all-time fav quilt store for in-store shopping and classes is Blue Bar in Middleton. Electric Needle in Madison is fun, too. I'm from Illinois, but only about 15 miles from the Wisconsin/Illinois line!
That’s awesome!!! I love the people at Electric Needle. They are my PFAFF go too now since there aren’t many of those dealers left. I’ve never been to Blue Bar and have always wanted to go. Thanks for the comment!
@thequiltingcamper Electric Needle has such an awesome vibe! Their classes just don't work with my schedule. If you get to Blue Bar tell Gael Annette from Illinois says hi! Love her rescue dog Frankie (Corgi) who is sometimes there, as well! I won't be up until February for a Stripology class. Glad you popped up on my YT today! Love the camp quilt idea.....looks so peaceful.
Thank you so much!!! Make sure to watch my other unboxings where I take my time on each item. This was a special with a different intention. Welcome to my channel!
I've never seen you before but enjoyed this video. However, I was really looking forward to seeking each of the fabrics so I could determine if they were ones I'd have liked to receive. Not seeing all the fabric really didn't help me decide whether or not to subscribe to the box.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. I’m not here to sponsor Fat Quarter Shop, just here to share what we love. Please note I do unboxings every month for the Sew Sampler, so you can go back and enjoy the details. As I explained in my video, this was a unique unboxing. I appreciate the feedback!
If you would go back and actually open these and show the items, you would have a viral video. Nobody has all this. There are a lot of quilters worldwide who would love to remember these fabrics and items. Look up some subscription channels. I use to watch them by the hour. Just saying. It kills me that it’s all sped up.
Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about doing a special video going through the fabric precuts and notions from this unboxing. I might consider something like that. I had to speed the video cause very few people watch my videos full length at 30 min, so 60-90 minutes wouldn’t get much interests or retention. Stay tuned for a more detailed look into those items!
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I've been quilting for over 20 years and it is a joy to see someone else express this experience of creating!
Thank you so much! Welcome to my channel!
Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed watching you unboxing ALL those boxes! I started the subscription in Nov 2023. I love them!
That’s really awesome! Thank you so much!
Love love love all that fabric!
Thanks!!! It was amazing to see it all together!

I applaud your restraint - there is no way I could have let all that sit and collect for 2 years! I rip into my box as soon as it arrives - great box!
Thank you so much! You are so kind!
Just subscribed. Also a Wisconsin quilter. Love the video. I just got my first sew sampler box over the weekend. Amazing subscription box.

Great video! Congratulations on your channel.🎉
Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks you so much Tracy from Idaho! What sweet and kind comment! Welcome to my channel! Kindess is key! 😃
fun video!
Thank you! So appreciate you!
Definitely would love to watch this not sped up!
Stay tuned for another video where I go through the precuts and notions in more detail. I’m so glad you watched it! Thank you!
I've enjoyed, I'm a new b.
Thank you!!! Welcome to my channel!
My first video of yours. Such fun! Did you wait that long to see what was in them? No way could I do that. I need my fabric fix. Subscribed
Thank you so much!!! Welcome to my channel. Yes, I did peak at what was inside them. lol.
I love this box! It's the only one I continue getting. Really enjoyed your video, although I wanted you to go slower! LOL
Thank you so much!!! Make sure to watch my other unboxings where I take my time on each item. This was a special with a different intention. Welcome to my channel!
What a fin, informative video…thank you for taking the time to do this!
Thank you so very much! Welcome to my channel!
❤❤❤
I'm happy that you are happy, but I am trying to be more intentional with my purchases. I hope that you can use and enjoy all of that stuff.
That’s awesome!!! For the items I won’t use, they will have happy homes.
I loved the video but I hate you missed out on all the cupons
Thank you! No worries, I still took advantage of the coupons I wanted during those years.
Stay tuned for a more detailed look into those items!
ya no bloopers
Watch my other unboxings, there are plenty. Just go to the end of each unboxing and you’ll find them there. Thanks for watching!
