Well, I'm just gonna point out that German military's only aggressive acts are in the context of NATO gangup bullying and their fighterjet losses are mainly due to training accidents, so that explains a lot. Takes an angry swan to reveal the truth.

Timothy swan Well first of all they are probs attacking ppl because they put their nest somewhere near there and are scared ppl are goig to hurt their eggs. Second of all, ppl get scared to you know and they just shoo them away it's not like they broke the swans legs or neck or kicked them or anything. E.g. The grandpa was just trying to protect his grandchildren. Same instinct as swans my darling.
The swans are acting this way because we are timid and allow them to act this way. Toughen up folks.

It is easy. Just focus on the head and forget about the wings and hissing. They are just to make the swan look bigger and intimidate you. But they don't do nothing. The head does. And if you bang that head one good time then the swan will quickly decide if it was enough or wishes to be banged a second time just to be sure it was enough :D Don't be scared of bites since a cat can do much worse damage to your hand. If you wish to run away then do so. But when you are face to duckface (pun intended) and avoiding contact is no option then do not wait for getting several times bitten before you act.
Oh yeah one more thing: Don't wait for an attack to block it off. Attack first as long as the head is not moving too much and the swan eyes are scanning for a good attack moment. They don't come so close to say "hi". Much more like "imma gonna fuck yo up now brotha swan power style"
PS: just don't kick them as they may get really hurt badly. If you do by accident (like a reflex sort of reaction) then try to be gentle as much as possible.

Thanks. I can assure you though that if a swan tries to attack me, I will kick them or grab them by the neck. If they show no concern for my well-being, neither will I for theirs.

I wouldn't fight back unless I couldn't run. I'd rather run away then risk hurting the swan. Plus, it's easier to get out of the way then get battered and pecked more.

Everyone commenting how it is the swan's fault and how you should hurt it 🙄 if you didn't know, swans have only one partner for their whole life and they are on the top 5 most aggressive birds IF their partner/babies are with them, 'cause they're extremely protective. So if you see a pair of swans and go walk near them without expecting them to attack is just stupid. Just walk around them and keep distance.

FYI the male swan has obviously broken its wing,, or has had its wing ringed (ie intentionally broken). It probably is in a lot of pain and is extremely vulnerable, hence the aggression.
arfnore I know this is comment way way long ago but actually it has been pinioned. This means at birth they snip a very small bone at the tip if their wing to prevent growth. I personally don't agree with it but black swans are pinioned in all countries they are not native to, this stops the spread of them in non native countries
@@harveysutton1432 maybe that does cause the aggression though, as I rarely have seen them acting aggressive in Australia. Maybe a couple of times when kids went too close to their babies. Maybe if they can fly away they don't feel the need to fight as much!

Many many moons ago I worked at Busch Gardens here in Tampa I worked with the grounds crew every morning when I got to work I had to clean the moat / lagoon we had two beautiful swans needless to say they were both mean as hell very territorial this bird will attack at will looking at them you would never think such a beautiful bird has such a Mean Streak they came after me relentlessly every morning don't be fooled by a swan's majestic look they are true animal kingdom thugs😁
