It really lifts my spirits when I watch your videos! The dogs are so sweet, the dahlias so lovely, the music both uplifting and serene. Love watching you in the kitchen Patrick ❤ Stuart, as always, your editing is so well done ❤
That wagging tail was so adorable! Hope all's well with the pups, especially Colin! The flowers were such a delight to see, with the lovely music, thank you! Have a good week! xox
Waging Tamils make me happy too. 😊. Collin is mostly doing very well. He had a bad night though, so I am up with him since 4 am. Stuart is always finding such lovely music. Sending hugs from Colombe ❤
I love the artwork on your jardiniere guys and the dahlias in it. The doggies are so cute I love the shots of them ❤ with the little wagging tail. As always when you’re cooking Patrick my mouth waters 😊 thank you for another pleasant vlog see you Friday 😊❤👋
Dog content is supposed to increase interest and viewership... here's hoping. That F.R.O.G. Jam has got to be amazing. I'd love to be in your kitchen when you prepare it just for the aromatherapy.
The jardiniere is fabulous. I love it. The dahlias are so pretty too. There were several things that I liked. There was a milk glass with a clear lace pendant lamp that I would have snagged. Clocks, faïence, etc., many of the things you showed were lovely. We clearly have similar tastes. I love the copper pots too! F.R.O.G. jam looks to be delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe. You're lucky to have terriers. They're great for keeping the vermin away. Good epidode. ❤ from TX!
Thank you for the dahlia photos, my dad bred and grew dahlias, he had over 300 plants, and was a show judge. beautiful memories. the doggies are so sweet.
Another great vlog! Sweater weather, fall colours, warm fires, homemade jam and bread, all my favorite things! Time to put the garden to bed and dream big dreams for next year. See you Friday, big hugs XO
Patrick, I laughed out loud at your reference to omitting the ginger from F.R.O.G. jam and making it as F.R.O. jam!!! And thank you to Stuart for all the great pictures of your dahlias. And finally the faience jardiniere, great find at the brocante.😘
Great to spend time with you both again. Glad you found some unexpected treasures at the brocante. Enjoyed the jam session and seeing your gorgeous dahlias and your beautiful dogs. Enjoy settling beside your fire as the days draw in. Winter is on the way in your part of the world. I’m heading into summer although the weather has been weird. This week we had a day with wind and hail twice interspersed with sunshine! As I said, quite weird. 🤷♀️😘😘
Aloha, this video so uplifted my spirits. Your beautiful finds at brocante, the gorgeous flowers and it’s always a treat to see your fur babies. I loved when one did a big stretch under the other’s tummy 🐾🤣🐾🏰.
I feel the pain of your loss, it breaks my heart for you both❤ please think of all the beautiful years the three of you had together. Feel good to know that you made his life the most wonderful life he could have ever desired, you both made that happen! He’s in heaven smiling large at you both 🐶 My thoughts and prayers ❤
The very best part of the blog today….was hearing Stuart in the background laughing when Patrick said, if no ginger, then its Fog jam…….omg!!!!! Hilarious!!!!!! Love you guys……
Good morning Patrick & Stuart, such a lovely video. The visit to the brocante looked very nice. It is your prerogative at these sort of second hand presentations to pick and choose to your heart content. Some are really lovely, and some are gorgeous but expensive. You have a good eye for quality items! So loved to see the dogs they are just so special. You made me very happy showing the dahlias, there are some real beauties in the garden. I find the white plants, the flowers are showy but the bush itself seems not dense enough with leaves. The double colour is special in it's own way. I also loved the trees, just so blessed to have been able to buy the property. The 'new' kitchen is so functional, great space on the counters to prepare and the stove is just in the perfect spot. I watched a video with Tony and Jane, it was a Thanksgiving presentation and i noticed the difference of the before and after renovation. It is amazing the hard work you people did to make the Chateaux so lovely. Much money has been poured into this project alas, it has all been so worthwhile. I had to smile listening to the cleaning of gutters and the little pains here and there. It seems you had a lovely day, taking a break from the inside and sort of just letting your hair down. Hope you have more days like that, we do not always have to have the shoulder to the wheel. Loved the video, do take care, be alert. Many blessings and kind regards.
What could be happier than seeing puppies with wagging tails and gorgeous dahlia’s growing in the garden along with a display in your beautiful jardinière. So happy you found one you loved and could afford. I love the double heads and vibrant colors. Your jam looks delish. It’s always so pleasant to watch you cooking in the kitchen and using that jewel of a stove. See you both next time… great music Stuart. ❤❤❤
The doggies are so cute and the flowers are picture perfect. As always, you make my mouth water with your recipes! You both have a good eye for finding beautiful pieces. Be careful on the roof and be well always! Hugs.
For some sentimental reason, I got very misty watching the dog and flower section of this video. Loved it. Okay, it might have been the bourbon cream I am drinking. Cheers
Hi sweeties. You did a great job to explain what it takes to restore the Chateau 👌 I had a great time with you both and the doggies. At the end of my stay a could almost tell them apart. I love your explanation about the F.R.O.G. jam..haha. I'am glad that the woodburner is working in the kitchen it will be more warmer. It was something else to see the Chateau with my own eyes. It's so large....have a nice evening. Hugs and kisses also for the furries 🥰😘🥰🐕
Oh noooooo. I cannot imagine to be with a group of teenagers for a week. You are a Saint! And Covid shots are brutal. We remember ours….. Hope you feel better soon. Much love from Colombe ❤❤
Lovely vlog guys! The Jardiniere is gorgeous, FROG Jam looks yummy Patrick and I will try to make some when the figs are ready in AU. Love your videography Stuart with the garden flowers & trees - stunning! And my final compliment is seeing Colin and the other dog whose collar name I could not see. It makes my day to see them! ❤
Love your music choice I was toe tapping to your Brocanting 😁 That was wonderful too so many beautiful treasures to look at and your purchases were wonderful, and the frog jam looks delicious. Thank you for showing your Doggies, flowers and the beautiful property ❤
You are winterising and we are spring cleaning getting ready for summer! We had a couple of lovely 26 degree days, which are usually warm for Tassie spring. But then yesterday it dropped back to an artic 8 degrees and out came the 'nanook from the north' jacket! brrr I can not wait to see the last of that cold weather. The size of your lovely dahlia's, gorgeous! I love watching you make jam while I have breakfast, puts me in the mood to make scones. The fur babies are looking happy and your dragon flower holder (I'm not even going to attempt the french word) was just gorgeous. hugs to you both (((()))))
Indeed…… the southern summer is coming. Enjoy. Now 8 is cold. The dahlias are amazing. We can leave them in the ground here. 🎉🎉🎉 I promise you, Frog jam on toast is delicious. ❤❤❤. Hugs from Colombe
You both have ‘the eye’ that finds treasures under other things that people pass by. Good job! Frog jam looks wonderful! Give dear Colin another hug from me. See you both soon😘😘😘
Fun to watch you at the brocante. The jardiniere is lovely, as are dahlias. Wish there was “smell-o-vision” so we could smell the fig, raspberries and ginger. ❤
Omg, the second that jardinière came into view I was all over it, and the actual piece was flawless, and fantastic! Love the whimsy of these faïance pieces you collect! I actually saw a set of four crème cups with saucers and lids a while ago at my local charity shop up here, and immediately thought of you guys. Selling very cheaply and no takers for quite a while due to Nordic tastes. Too bad there was only 4. Would have matched your collection perfectly. Your dogs are so beautiful. If you can, please take us on one of your doggy walks on the property, I love just seeing the seasons change down there, the beautiful nature you're surrounded with, and dogs romping around make it even better. ❤ That FROG jam looks amazing! I can imagine some of that heated on some vanilla icecream... 👌Booze turns compotes into naughty delights every time 😉. Every October i think of my fall trips to Paris and the glorious scent in the air of roasted chestnuts sold in newspaper wraps outside the Jardin Luxembourg where the turning of Chestnuts trees is a glory to behold. It's just a lovely time of year to visit France. Here it's all gloves and hats or capuchons now, brrrr.... Christmas day is only 2 months from now, it's crazy how fast time flies! Love the color of your "Boston Ivy". 😘/Jo
That jardiniere is amazing. The details are very special. We will definitely show a doddle walk soon. Well, after the next 14 days of rain have passed…. 😮😂😮. Awful. And so much to do outside. The jam is Devine. On ice cream……? Absolutely great idea. ❤❤❤. We have to go and pick up chestnuts. We can roast the on the stove. Absolutely delicious. We will use them for the thanksgiving stuffing. 🤩. Love from Colombe and enjoy the scarf and sweater season. 💕💖💕
@@patrickjourneytothechateau9452 I roast chestnuts too in my tile wood burners! Love it! A glass of port or Marsala is perfect with them too. Yes to chestnut stuffing. I either go that way, or go in the toasted sage direction. Both stuffings are good with pieces of tart apple too. Havent stuffed anything yet, I'm obsessed with wild rice, black beans and mushrooms right now, lots of umami flavors. The one thing to keep me warm and energetic when it gets this nippy and windy is a cup of miso. Or hot cocoa if I'm craving something sweet. I still have the very old Droste tin my Grandmother kept the cocoa in. I'm reminded of ger everytime I have a cup ❤️ Kiss your scuffy animals from me! 💕
Adorable dogs, beautiful grounds and flowers, F.R.O.G. jam, what more can you ask for. Love it❤️ when you travel the countryside it is one of my favorite parts of the video. Absolutely think the bowl container?? can't remember the name of it, but it is a perfectly fitting find. Gorgeous! Take care now. Love and miss you always.❤️ Hey, did you guys get haircuts? 😆 🤣
Vielen Dank. Die Dahlias sind fantastisch. Blühen wieder und es ist fast November. 😮😮😮. Und die Hunde sind immer so niedlich. Wir haben heute eine 4 Monate alte (junge) Hündin gerettet. Mehr in der nächsten Episode. Ganz liebe Grüße von Colombe ❤❤❤
I just knew you would spot the jardiniere , I noticed it straight away. The colours are so vibrant it’s just glorious to look at. Stuart I was bobbing away to the swing music as you were walking along at the brocante, it was very uplifting . My darling Patrick I love your pinny ( apron) lol. I was salivating at the ingredients in your frog jam especially a good slug of Cointreau , the smell must be amazing in your kitchen . Lovely to see some of the boys out in the yard they are so cute. Love to you both. Xx🇨🇮
It is such a striking piece. Love it. Stuart’s music was so uplifting. The apron was a gift from Jayson B. He is from Colorado, USA. I always love when Stuart includes doggie videos. I was up before 4 am because Collin wasn’t feeling well. Hope he gets rest now with Stuart and he had his meds. Love from Colombe 💖💕💖
Well guys, you have another gem of a video! Love your new purchase, the doggie shots...made me smile, you caught some good positions! The yummy Chutney Patrick! Oh me, oh my!
Ahhhhhhh! "The Beast!" The jam looks wonderful. Those Dahlias are prize winners for sure. The Pups are so happy there. I love your finds, and the copper pot will be magnificent in the kitchen. Hugs, and best wishes.
Be so careful when you're on a roof! I fell and broke 8 ribs in June and for a few weeks it was excruciating. The jam looks like. I can honestly I've never been tempted by frog jam before! But now!!!!! Loving the jardiniere! So glad you found 1 thing you really really wanted. Thank you again for this treat!
Very nice to see U PATRICK AND STUART MAKING FROG JAM VERY EASY TO MAKE . LOVE THE TRIPLE SEC AND THEM COINTRO ADDED. GOING TO BE VERY SPECIAL TASTY BOOZE JAM MARVELLOUS❤ GREAT U BOUGHT THE COPPER POT. I SAW IT AND SAID. *PATRICK. I HAVE TO GET THIS POT**, THEN I SAW YOU. THE FANCY OLD BOAT DISH LOOKS GREAT ON UR OLD CHINA CABINET. WHEN I SAW U LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THAT BOWL I KNEW U WOULD GET IT. VERY UNIQUE. AND FLOWERS LOOK VERY GREAT IN IT❤🎉 YOU HAD A GREAT DAY AT BROCANTE AND NICE TO SEE UR DRIVE TO THAT TOWN.😊
Lovely as always. ❤ The garden scene at the end was beautifully produced and quite touching. Stuart, Max was watching with me and quickly realized the two of you were wearing the exact same sweater. I shot a quick video of the two of you and sent it to Patrick. Home from Chicago. Caught the end of the Midwest fall colors in the nick of time. Doing a bit of winterizing around here myself. Big hugs to you both. ❤❤
The sweaters are too funny. Fashion guys for sure. ❤❤ more frost for the Midwest soon 😮. I was awake since 3 am and up at 4 since Collin could get rest. He’s such a wonderful boy. Have fun winterising. I still have a ton of windows to address 😮. Hugs and much love to you two. 😊😊
I'm very familiar with Desvres faience and this is a pretty jardiniere. I have pieces with animal heads on the end but have not seen this particular one, a real beauty! Congratulations.
Hi guys, It is a highlight of my day when you put out a new vlog. Those fur babies melt my Irish heart. Keeping them in prayer still. That jardiniere was a huge find. I am jealous of those beautiful dahlias. The FROG jam looks so yummy. You will have a well stocked cupboard for the winter. I wish I could visit you both. Do you have any Halloween plans? My hubby is big on Halloween, but I am more Christmas. I used to go all out for both. These days, I keep it low-key. I do enjoy the trick or treaters. We usually get around 200. See you again on Friday. ❤
I love going brocanting with you both and you found some great thing's again. The frog jam sound's delicious 🤤,The dehilas look amazing and you have some beautiful colour's and seeing your fur babies made me smile and I agree it is getting to jumper time ❄️ a bit chilly, take care and see you both soon 💕🌼🤗
We're expecting our first frost here in the PNW. Winter is coming! I like to peek behind you at your featured treasure and then try to spot it at the brocante when you find it. The jardiniere is lovely! Nice that your acidanthera bloomed, mine didn't this year, though the leaves got quite tall. Our weather was really wacky. FROG jam looks tasty, and I'll bet the smell is fabulous. Thanks for another good vlog. Stay warm! (furnace guys came today for a checkup, just in time, first 30s temp tonight, brrrr)
Winter is coming indeed. Not ready but working on it. That is too fun that you try to spot the items at the brocante. Glad you got your heating system in order. Stay warm. Hugs from Colombe. ❤
Love, Love, Love the dogs!😍 I always love the wonderful treasures that you find. I had an antique shop for many years. I will have to make the F.R.O.G. Jam next year. As always, I’m looking cotton the next episode 🍾🥂🥰
You found some nice items at the brocante. Your culinary skills are never ending. I love seeing the dogs and the beauty in nature. Take care my friends and stay warm. Ralph Rocchiccioli
Excellent video...loved getting a better look at the beautiful dogs. The frog jam looked delicious and enjoyable to prepare. I think I need to also grow some dalias... Overall I have been inspired
😮Hi fellas, WHAT a find for you. It It is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I can't wait to cook again. Could you make that into a cordial? Sounds yummy. God bless you and yours. Love, jenwhite ❤😊❤
You are so kind dear Jim. I have to say, I smiled all the way through the brocante part. And I never see the gliders before they go live. Love from Colombe my friend. ❤❤
I love the walk on the brocante, and to see what the people there offer you. Like the most brocantes they offer a lot of porcelain and I love porcelain. You bought a very nice item, well done.
Yippee it’s Wednesday and I get to see you all again. No sweaters here. Still 86 degrees In S. Florida . Loved that clock with the lady but you have something like that? I find that many of the collectible shows here are full of junk. Love going to brocants with all the chateau vloggers. The Jardinier is lovely as are the dahlias.
Great vlog! Beautiful dogs and flowers. Laughed out loud when Patrick said there were no more frogs around the chateau!! I always smile through your adventures.
I love the flower dish, beautiful!!! Flowers looked gorgeous in it!! I liked the brass pot too. I was looking right with as you were walking and looking!! Oh my!! I thought frog jam was actually made of frogs. I’m like I’ll pass. But when you explained yum that sure does sound good. I love your cooking shows too!!! I used to make cherry jam. Cherries right from our cherry trees. Sold them to local restaurants. Everyone loved them. Ohhhh that’s why jams are good. Liquor is added. I’ll take some!!! Hee hee!!! My grandma always added a little alcohol to her jams. But never said it in her recipes. Lol. Great episode!! Lots of love from Tennessee!!
Thank you so much. What a wonderful comment. The jam is truly delicious and a little alcohol is great. It cooks off of course and leaves a delicious taste. Huge hugs from Colombe ❤
It really lifts my spirits when I watch your videos! The dogs are so sweet, the dahlias so lovely, the music both uplifting and serene. Love watching you in the kitchen Patrick ❤ Stuart, as always, your editing is so well done ❤

Interesting they were selling a book about Davy Crockett.

If it's the piece of faience, I agree! One I have not seen and I have been collecting for many years.
It’s it amazing. Stamped FF Faience Français and we have only seen two similar ones in all of the brocantes we visited. 😊😊😊
I'm very familiar with Desvres faience and this is a pretty jardiniere. I have pieces with animal heads on the end but have not seen this particular one, a real beauty! Congratulations.
Your frog jam looks delicious 😋 Love your treasures found at the fete de marron. So jealous of your dehlias as well. So pretty 🤩 😍😘
It is delicious. I promise 😊. The treasures are great. The dahlias are gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤. Hugs from Colombe.
Hi guys,

Those fur babies melt my Irish heart. Keeping them in prayer still.

I certainly hope I find some of that F.R.O.G. Jam in my Christmas stocking!

Thank you so very much ❤❤❤❤
We're expecting our first frost here in the PNW.

Thank you! Yes, I think you could make a cordial! 💕
Yep so enjoyable viewing happiness cheers guys ❤
You are so kind dear Jim. I have to say, I smiled all the way through the brocante part. And I never see the gliders before they go live. Love from Colombe my friend. ❤❤
I love the walk on the brocante, and to see what the people there offer you. Like the most brocantes they offer a lot of porcelain and I love porcelain. You bought a very nice item, well done.
Thank you very much. ❤❤. It is always fun. Can’t wait for the Brocante season to reopen next April 😊❤😊. Hugs
I am so envious of your dahlias - just beautiful ❤
They came into bloom again this week and we are stunned. ❤❤❤
Delicious jam I’m sure …love your labels.
FROG sounds yummy!
Is is soooooo good. I love it
Great vlog! Beautiful dogs and flowers. Laughed out loud when Patrick said there were no more frogs around the chateau!! I always smile through your adventures.

Je pense que c'est du Rouen. C'est magnifique
It is from Desvres. Thank you! 😊
❤❤❤
❤️
😊❤😊
