    Oh my god, thanks. No one believes me when I say that I cant barely walk with shoes because I feel a sharp pain on my feet, like a stab. Now I know what I have and I'm gonna take care of my feet.

    Hi, thank you so much for sharing this. I'm pretty sure I'm also suffering from Morton's N. I'm wearing a zero drop shoe with large toebox for walking and 4 mm drop shoes for running. I use a foam roller and ball the same way. Can it actually get worse if someone is doing ultras? Should I stop and give it a rest for a couple of weeks? I talked to a doctor, a masseur and a physiotherapist and all of them said that changing insole could be best for my feet but I still try to avoid any orthotic insole...

      Taking a break from exercises can help! You're welcome to check out any of the foot stretches I have uploaded that might help. I also have a foot pain minicourse on my PT app you can check out and get 1 week for free! jen.health/freetrial

    I was told that I have Morton’s neuroma but my pain is on the top of my foot, on my 2nd toe on both feet. Do you think my diagnosis is correct? I also have problems with plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics. I also am unable to set back on my heels, flexing my toes is too painful. I’ve had steroid injections that weren’t successful.

    So, what did you do to actually eliminate the neuroma. Was it exercise alone?

      Exercise alone can go a long way to provide relief on that nerve and hopefully reduce the neuroma over time

    I have extremely narrow feet, how would a shoe with a wide toe box work for narrow feet?

      @docjenfit  2 роки тому

      Hi Gigi, as long as your shoes aren't pressing into your feet. We just recommend shoes that aren't too tight and we like Vivos because they help your feet do the work and help build that strength.

    I’m seeking a podiatrist to help with many issues that I am experiencing (I have calluses that are not painful, but don’t want it to get to that point) but I noticed that I get a pretty bad burning/ painful sensation when wearing athletic shoes and I have changed sizes and brands. The pain goes away almost instantly when I remove the shoe, so I have no idea if it’s a neuroma. It seems to have gotten worse since I fractured my ankle and I only experience it in the foot that was injured. I’m definitely on my feet the majority of my day and my body is naturally tensed up. I’m going for a shoe fitting with a local company that helps with the problem areas and they evaluate your gait. But I’m curious if the burning sensation and pain could be a neuroma since the pain is significantly less the moment I remove the shoe? I’m only 40, I intend to use my feet for a long time and want to ensure I am caring for them properly.

      Hi! While there's no way for us to determine through youtube, it does sound like the shoe is affecting you. Also, here's another video on the topic you might like: ua-cam.com/video/XiYoAmpzQtA/v-deo.htmlsi=Nz6XrmTK4YqOM5_X

    I have a wide toe box shoe but Is a 4mm drop too much?

    • @docjenfit
      @docjenfit  Рік тому

      A lot of it has to do with where your foot is at! 4mm definitely isn't a lot, so it probably isn't making a huge difference. We just prefer a zero heel drop

    Tried the discount code TOB15 several times to get 15% off a pair of Vivobarefoot Shoes. It was not working. Any suggestions?

      I'm so sorry about that! We are working with Vivo to get that code fixed. It should be settled in a few days and we can get back to you, or you're welcome to use code jen10 for 10% off.

      @@docjenfit Hey Jen! Love your work and the podcast! 😍 Today I tried to use the TOB15 code but it didn't work, unfortunately. Do you think there's again an issue with it? JEN10 works, but I'd love the slightly bigger discount if possible. 😊 Thanks. -Orshi
