This is INCREDIBLE!!! TIE Fighter's soundtrack has been permanently cemented in my brain, but I've always imagined it sounding more like this instead of its original midi composition.
I actually kept whisteling it all along, until my wife came in and started asking questions. I dismissed that incapabale one at once from the inner circle:)
They do not know what they're missing. Rogue Squadron and other games since have been good, and Squadrons was interesting, but Tie Fighter (especially)and X-Wing Alliance were truly something special; and there is a reason TF still features in best PC game of all time lists. It is still a great game even now, albeit aged. Clint Bajakian did some amazing work for Tie Fighter, and gave some truly epic twist takes on known Star Wars tracks.

I don't think the Battle Music at the end of the video is actually remade by Clint Bajakian himself. The Soundcloud page gives tribute to him as though it was made by a fan.
Awesome work! Thank you! But, as I remember, there was a 27 minute battle music at the track of CD version (1998) unfortunately new MWP does not open those old tracks. Do you happen to have that 27 minute track too? (it was a mash up of several battle musics and ımperial march)

In the meantime, I'm still waiting for polished PC ports for GoldenEye 64 and Perfect Dark. Keyboard and mouse have aged far better than the N64 control scheme.
Ah, this takes me back to the summer of 1994 when I was in my local Babbage’s and just happened to look over at a game sitting on the shelf called Tie Fighter. I knew I had to buy it. I spent so many hours playing this for the next year or so.
ahh, the enemy capital ship music. You know shit will hit the fan soon when it plays. My favorite is E7M1 when it starts chill with a simple trap on the VSD Protector, then suddenly a Calamari Cruiser and a frigate warp in and you're surrounded.

Да, придуманы новые музыкальные композиции которые вписаны в оригинальные, а у оригинальных изменён тембр и темп, таким образом чтоб Имперская музыка звучала "Героически" а повстанческая наоборот "напряжённо-аггресивно", что действительно забавно слышать.

This version was in the original release (at least the collectors cd rom) but yes, those who had general midi and standard emulators missed it... i was lucky to have an ensoniq soundscape soundcard so i got this version, so when i see the modern playthroughs, i do feel bad for those folks cuz some still miss out on it
A huge step up and way more original improvement to X-Wing's otherwise still good yet less original soundtrack, the TIE FIghter OST. Even moreso with the Total Conversion Mod for X-Wing Alliance Upgrade reviving interest nowadays.
It's not mine. Really long time ago when googling on some site found ".flac" files with full TIE Fighter ost. It was years ago and I really not remember where I found it or who made it, however since then I never seenthem in internet and thought I can share them.
