1977, i was 12 years old, my father took me and my brothers to watch this brand new movie called Star Wars. The scene where Luke stands, staring longingly to the twin setting suns, wanting to get out and go adventuring in other places of the galaxy, i fell in love with the Star Wars universe and it's characters,. ever since, now and forever.

Back then, all we knew was a black & White TV with 2 channels, european country. No fancy phones, no pc, no platforms, no internet. Star Wars was so far ahead of it's time, it blew our minds and expanded our fantasy. It also made me realise, how backwards my country's people are on the imagination department. Which is why i fell in love with it. I also love th Witcher story and 007. Good, european imagination at work, for a change. There are others too but these 2 are prominent for those of us who love action and adventure.

I could listen to this over and over again, its so calming and uplifting. I always loved Luke's theme (Force theme) the most.

I was listening to this while reading Empire Strikes Back and some planes were flying low over the library, so my brain just registered them as starships taking off around me, I think it added to the experience

This video begins with the Jedi Consular theme from the game, Star Wars the Old Republic, official soundtrack. It is then spliced with other music from the movie's OST. Such as Anakin's theme. It's one of my favorite.
Although I would never want to live there, Tatooine has some of the best surprises ever. jabbas palace, beggars canyon, Mos Eisley, the dune sea, pod racing, the great pit of carkoon and many more.

This reminded me a lot of Star Wars in Concert which took place last July in The Seattle Symphony. I was absolutely blown away. John Williams' score will live on through history.

Tatooine is one of my favourite Star Wars planets. Sorta like a Sci-fi Western!

I would imagine life on Tatooine went as though nothing ever happened at all through the post ROTJ era. Of course they would be used to not seeing imperials but that's a minor detail to the lush drunk coming out of the Mos Eisley Cantina or a visiting farmer

This reminds me of playing star wars galaxies back in the day. countless hours logged into the game and a lot of those were on Tatooine! So much nostalgia in this soundtrack it brings a single man tear to my eye.

Tataouine is a tunisien city, i live there, its awesome to make a film and a song for it, very proud
It's not really a dump planet because it's unpleasant, though it has monsters and bandit aliens. It's a dump because it's quite deserted and on the outskirts of the Empire. Kinda like North Dakota. You can live quite happily in North Dakota, but Broadway's a bit far.

I just wish there was a Star Wars game where I could just walk around checking out Old Ben's place, Jabbas fort, the Cantina and spaceport etc etc without having to shoot at people or get shot at! I would be happy just doing peaceful stuff with the crew. Same as going to Dogobah and sharing a hot snake stew with Master Yoda on a rainy night. That would be cool.

I will admit, The Last Jedi did leave me mixed, in that there were things I loved, but a lot that I hated in which conflicted in what I believed was right. There is nothing I or anyone can change now, but I look forward to what JJ can do to finish the Skywalker saga. I have trust in him, he started the sequel trilogy with positive vibes, I am hoping he can end it in the same way.
My love for Star Wars is too strong to be ruined by various negatives in one film of the series. There are many negatives in the other films that I have grown to live with that were overshadowed by tremendous positives.
This is exactly how I feel. You said this perfectly.
I too have hope that J.J Abrams can fix a lot of the damage caused by The Last Jedi, but the destruction of Luke Skywalker's character is something that can never be un-done... countless generations inspired by and looked up to Luke as a beacon of hope, courage, ethics, spiritual and heroic development etc... then Rian Johnson writes him as the antithesis of everything he stood and strove for, far lowlier than even as a 19 year old farmboy before he began his journey....
I am not expecting much of the next movie. Too many things that I didn't like, too many mistakes. I am actually expecting a lot from fans movies or games

@@89Unai Are you implying that the Luke Skywalker as written by Rian Johnson, who attempted to murder his young defenseless nephew, and was portrayed as a bitter, unethical, psychotic, murderous, rude, pathetic excuse for a human-being, after all of his work and development over the course of the original trilogy (culminating at the end of Return of the Jedi when he sacrifices his life to save the spirit of his father Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, one of the most powerful and evil persons in the galaxy because he sensed good in him) is any of those things you listed?

That's very nice work, it would have been great had Lucasfilm signed off on a Rogue Squadron animated series back in the 90s. I can't help but think this music would be nice for some scenes for the Battle of Tatoonie.
