Thank you so much and thanks for watching
@@MadeByHuss Question . What size or kind of file did you use to file down when making it flat please ?
@@MadeByHuss thanks for the video greetings from venezuela could you make a cuban with monaco or prong cut thanks i will be pending
@@octaviocedeno8438 Hello at this time I'm very busy at work lockdown messed up a lot for me I have some of my own projects to do god know when I'll have time to do them
I've made cuban links not sure what a monaca is? as for the prongs what most do is cast it it would be a crazy idea to make it by hand Thanks for watching
Thank you so much 😊
I like that your shop is real. The dirt in a jewelry shop is incredible. The tutorials with spotless shops are unrealistic.
Made me remember those days I used to watch my uncle work on his jewellery
I recently just purchased a handmade Cuban link gold chain. Wouldn’t have it any another way! So much integrity and work goes into making these pieces. Very proud to wear it. Great video and beautiful work.
Thank you for watching
The amount of work, moving the camera, the editing, the actual jewelry with the mistakes and over coming them, this is so satisfying. Oh and your not begging for subs, so you got mine😂
Thank you for your kind words and the sub
I have been teaching myself how to make this chain and it gets so difficult at the twisting part, thank you for making this video I’m gonna do it the way you did it and take my time and twist each link individually the outcome is amazing as always
Sanjeev Basi Thank you this was my first time making a Cuban link I all so found it hard to do what I’m going to try next time is to do round links instead of over links and good luck all the best
I find it easy twisting the links starting at the bottom with two flat head pliers. With the left hand I hold the first link and the right hand I twist up or down but you also need to keep the chain tight.
What a brilliant craftsman you are. I wear a thick 147g curb chain and it’s amazing to see how much work and skill goes into them. They are lovely chains and a firm ‘favourite’ with many people. A timeless classic! Well done! 👍🇬🇧
Thank you so much
Nicely done by hand without casting, and thanks for stating the mm
This would be a very rewarding thing!! Gift family members, ask them to pass them along for family to come! AWESOME!
dan smolen something I want to do

Great job looks spectacular.
Thank you! Cheers!
GORGEOUS!!! I would be interested in having one made exactly this size by you sir. Please let me know if this is a possibility. I am new in my first year of jewelers study but dont think i can do this yet. I had a beautiful .935 silver pendant made by Meera Jewels in India and need a good solid cuban for it.
Many thanks and fantastic work again 👌👌
Wow, great offer, Mr. Suk MeeBallz. Also, I'm not dissing this guy, but for cuban link chains there's probably better jewlers. Considering he said this was his first time, this was good though.
Hi. Im a 13 year old boy from dk and i want to become a jewler when i grow up. I was wondering where you buy all your machines and metals. Love your vids☺
Thank you I'm in the Uk we have sites like walshtools cooksonsgold but I have just the thing for you www.ravstedhus.dk I wish you all the best

Amazing and beautiful piece !!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching
Skill, patience and love all in one.
BARRY MAX Thank you
BARRY MAX yes
Instead of smashing each individual link with pliers to make them oval, wrap your bar around something oval instead of round and the links will all be perfect ovals.
Yes that's right but at the time I didn't have anything oval so I had to improvise Thank you for watching
Im pretty sure he knows this already...and real jewelers ( in my opinion of course) improvise and get the job done perfectly even when they dont have the exact fancy tool on hand 👌 Thats what i really love about old school jewelers. Real artists 🙌
dayum wish i can make wun just dont got the tools and time 😭😭😭😭😭
Lil Da’vante well thanks for watching any ways
@@MadeByHuss what its the black thing that you use
Rolando Chavez it’s shellac a type of cement
my guy is a youtube legend. i watch this 2 years ago dreaming to make my own chain. then i lost that feeling and now 2 years after im back again. but this time just to see the process and stil dont have the feeling of making it🤣
very neat process from start till end.....really carefull the way you handle it...very very neat
Well thank you and thanks for watching
That's amazing! So interesting to see how they are made...!How long did the whole process take?🤔😀
Musa Mete about 15 hours
@@MadeByHuss Are you conducting business? I'm currently seeking a 14-15mm 30inch. Website? Contact info?
did he rlly say i put 3 and 3 links together and got 7 BRUHHHHHH
Giancarlo Buscemi lol no 3 links are together and another 3links are together so I have use one more to link them together that’s 7 thanks I needed that made me laugh
At the end making the link you can also twist the chain until it is the right way so it wouldn't take so much time, but you did do an amazing job
Isaiah Stephens Thank you I don’t use the end links I cut them off at the end
Beautiful chain!
Thanks for watching
Absolutely stunning Huss. Very enjoyable as well as educational watching you working. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge. All the best. Definitely going to check out some more of your videos.

Beautiful what a skill you are an artist
Christina Ivers thank you and thanks for watching
Best tutorial on UA-cam 💯
D Velasquez Thank you
what formula do you use to estimate the wire diameter needed to achieve the width of chain your looking to end up with and also the mandrel diameter you twist around, thanks
I make a sample just guessing and work it out from the sample only 2-3 inches long made from silver or copper
Looks really cool!
Thank you
😍 noossa que daora essa prata é top. Mano show de bola 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Magnifique ! Très beau travail !
Very beautiful work! And it looked like a tough job but you did it well!
Thank you
That lockbox! 🔥
Thanks
Great video my friend. very well explained proffessional techniques. A proper video. niceley done. Dave.
Hey Thanks Dave I was inspired by you like your video too stay safe
This is the best video. Bcuz you explain what you’re doing
Thank you
This is my first time seeing how these are made! So much work. It’s hard to believe something so beautiful starts out looking like a dirty nothing. I am in awe! I wonder how long it takes to make one, start to finish on average?
Thank you I think I took about 15-20hours and that was my first one
Great work. Admire a person who has craftsmanship over something that was machine made and mass produced. However I'm curious how flat curb link chains get made by a machine. Can't seem to find a video on UA-cam
Beautiful work.....
okokok i know Thanks
All I can say is WOW!!!
Thank you for watching
beautiful work sir!
Mike Ivy Thanks for watching
Exelente trabajo, siempre quise saber como se hacian una cadena! Buen trabajo
Gracias
A must to subscribe , this is so amazing too watch !!!
Thank you so much
@@MadeByHuss absolutely 💯
Do you have a site or something to purchase?
@@craigversetti5700 sorry I don’t have a website just making UA-cam videos for work I’m working for someone else
Love the video, how important is aspect ratio when it comes to making a Cuban link?
I’ve made a couple of attempts but they all settle out in a traditional chain look and not in the Cuban style. I believe it’s the aspect ratio but maybe you can correct me if you know 🤷♂️ thanks!
Are you making oval links? They need to be oval then it’s how you file away the top to style it
@@MadeByHuss interesting, is creating the oval shape something most people don’t show? I’ve watched what feels like every video on UA-cam of making Cuban links and you’re the only one I’ve ever seen make them oval shaped.
What about the oval shape helps the Cuban lay flat?
@@thechuckyboi1438 you can use round but for Cuban link oval links
Would really like to see how the clasp is made. Great video, inspirational.
There’s a video on that too
Boxlock for Cubanlink
Nice chain
Thank you for the excellent video wish you prosperity
Zafar Sharipov Thank you have a great day
Beautiful work man!. Could I ask you how you calculate the lenght of the wire you need for making the chain. What I mean is lenght of the wire vs lenght of the chain. Thanks in advance!
Well I didn’t do it that way I started with 120 grams of silver the chain is about 19 inches and weights 78grams I go my the weight hope this helps thanks for watching
I love your video excellent job.
Mehdi imani Thank you
Brilliant!

rubendario perez thank you
LOVE IT.
Thank you
Hey! Nice video man! I would like to know where you bought your tools and machines.. im tryna get into making my own jewelry. I already do silver rings, but I need more equipment to create a chain
Walsh tool.co.uk and cooksonsgold .co.uk I’m in the UK you can try eBay for cheap tools all so a collage if you can best of luck thanks for watching
Just keep in mind.. shit tools do a shit job. Try and get tools somewhat recognised by jewelers..Im in my 1st year of apprenticeship and learned that the hard way...some tools are better to pay a little more for and have for a lifetime with consistant results ! Again..My opinion only.lol
Hey I really enjoy the videos! I was curious if you could make one about making a chain without any of those expensive tools; a tutorial on how too hand make a chain for the layman haha. Thanks for the awesome content though!
Aries Gamer I have a rope chain with no solder video check it out thanks
@@MadeByHuss I've seen that video and I did enjoy that one. But I was also curious what guage/diameter your silver was after you pulled it through the hole punch in this video, thank you for the response!
Aries Gamer the wire was 3mm
Hey huss, I really enjoyed the video! I was wondering how much time it took (total before editing) to make this necklace. Thanks!
About 15-20 hours thanks for watching
Beautiful
Thanks
@@MadeByHuss can u make one for me?

Nice work my mans. I just made one last week but yours came out better. What is the machine you used to round the bar?
