@@shawnpreston1639 Exactly! It is beautiful! She is not screaming her voice is high and crystal clear. If she was singing on more updated equipment that has been developed over the last 30 years her sound would be much more cushioned and controlled. RIP Queen of Soul.
Because,the performers of today just do not have that raw talent,I am sorry to say,we put up with mediocre,back then performers had to really bring forth quality music.❤
There are some songs Aretha sings, where I feel that she screams. However, this song is not one of them. I absolutely LOVE practically everything Aretha sings, SCREAMING OR NOT! Her SOULFULNESS, style, powerful voice, interpretation, versatility, paino-playing...I find it all breathtaking and makes me opine, after hearing practically all famous women singers, that Aretha is the G.O.A.T.!!!
