I have been standing for 6 years. My husband lives at home but there is another woman in another town. I take care of my husband everyday. I do everything for him. He sleeps in a guest room but says good night to me every night and says he loves me. Same in the morning when we go to work but he is under the control and manipulation of the strange woman and it is devastating. She has convinced him twice to divorce me. I was served twice but each time, 3 months later, he retracts the divorce. He drinks every night and sits on his home office, looking so forlorn, shaking his head, mumbling to himself. It is dreadful to see what this is doing to him. I stand in faith that God is working even though I do not see any physical changes. Nothing is impossible for God.

Best advice I’ve ever heard on UA-cam!
Scary, for sure but the greatest, most noble quest worth fighting for is our marriage!
Even if our reward is not realised until we stand before Jesus one day, it’s worth the endeavour.
    After all:
‘In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?’ Psalm 56:11
I know from personal experience that this is possible and a glorious way to live.
Thank you for the timely reminder Jimmy.
Jesus, please help me every day to love like you love!!🙏

Try your best no matter the Cost not to Divorce. If you do divorce for any reason remember the words of Jesus. You cannot remarry because it would be Adultery. Jesus said anyone who marries a Divorced person commits Adultery and also makes them an Adulterer. Paul said the only way to Remarry is if your spouse dies.
Pastor Jimmy Evans is the best marriage counselor I have ever heard.
I wish I knew his teachings before I divorced. Now I must stay single unless I reconsile my first marriage.
Adulterers won't be in Heaven. Take the words of Jesus Seriously. Remember God Hates Divorce and so should we.
Try your absolute best to save your marriage. You don't want to fall into Adultery in your future.

20 plus years of marriage. Christians. Children. Then. . . He “fell in love” with another woman who is a Bible study teacher. 🤷‍♀️I fought for 6 plus yesrs. Loving him and reminding him that He was Gods son and what was God saying to him. He divorced me last month after 28 years of marriage. End the end, what God said, what His word said did not matter. I am heartbroken. 💔

My heart is broken for you. I do not know the circumstances behind your story, but your “X” seems to have been having at the least and emotional affair with this other woman. Sadly, this did not end the way you wanted and are heart broken. For me, my (now late wife) reconciled with me two weeks before her death from pancreatic cancer. We were still married but she had completely cut me off and I did all I could, with good Pastoral friends and Counciling. I know I was a good father, step father, and husband. It was not until 2 weeks before she passed while in hospital that she apologized and said, “I have not been the wife I should have been and made a real mess of things. I am sorry, please forgive me.” I already had…she got right with God. She passed on my arms into the arms of Jesus. I mourned her passing…but even more so, what could have been. I never trash talked her to the kids though they saw what was happening. Today I am happily remarried and we are both serving he Lord together. I know brokenness. Allow the Lord to walk with you through this. I can assure you…you can trust, He will heal your heart. New beginnings are not just for the young. God’s mercies are new every morning

Jesus probably knew their hearts were hard towards Him and didn’t need to try and convince them of their need for a saviour.

I’m sure Jesus was sad that they missed out but we each have a choice.
