I did not know about Eddie Clarke's passing. I got to see him play back in 1984 I believe, at The Joe. Fastway opened for AC/DC. Incredible concert. RIP Eddie

Dennis "MotMot" Matibag passed away on my birthday (January 21st). Also, I was a couple of weeks old when Paul Baloff passed. He passed on February 2nd, 2002. I was born on January 21st, 2002. Chuck Schuldiner passed about a month-ish before I was born. Also, Death (especially Chuck), Nevermore, Sanctuary, Mayhem (especially Dead), Metallica, Bathory, Bolt Thrower, Judas Priest, Obituary, Sodom, Exodus, Gojira, Carcass, Vader, Coroner, Evile, Cancer, Atomkraft, and Venom are some of the many bands/musicians that got me though some of the rough times I had in my life.

I did not look at all the comments so it might have been mentioned but Helloween's original drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg died by commiting suicide by jumping in front of a s- train in 1995. He was schizophrenic. He was an amazing drummer and he played on most of Helloween's greatest albums especially both Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1 and Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 2.

It's weird the way some of them died:by poisonous fish,spider bite,tsunami,bus crash,gunshot and of course the usual injectons of speed/cocain causing heart attacks! Still wonderful musicians! I hope I'll C this guys back in"valhala"in concert,× RIP×♥★1%*
Fuck man we screwed, when all the old rockers die its over. the original rock style and personality will be gone. An entire generation will have truly ended and we will witness it.
Didn´t know Randy Rampage passed. Met him and a band member at a restaurant in San Francisco in 2013. They were sitting at the table next to me and I overheard their conversation about hockey. Once they realized I was a huge hockey fan from Stockholm, Sweden, they invited me to join them. We had a bunch of margaritas and talked hockey for a couple of hours. I was never a fan of Annihilator so I´d never heard his name before. He told me he had a new band, punk style and they were playing at a festival a couple of days later. He asked me if I wanted a ticket but I declined since I was on a road trip and we were headed out the next day. Such a nice and cool dude! R.I.P. Randy!

Never forgotten ,where ever you are now\m/ horns up for all those who passed and for all those who still headbangin band members and just regular fans like me, 20 years now from first time hearing celtic frost and fell in love with this beautiful genre and met most beautiful people all over the europe (sorry for never been to usa) hail brothers and sisters
No matter what, we are all metal heads. I hope whatever happens next is cool and we love them for paving the way, no matter the speed bumps certain bands through down. They were still a part. It made us better. They made us who we are. Made us realize there is so much in the world than what they made us. It made us proud. It made us whole. The media wanted to show us what they wanted to, and we said Fuck You, you're lying. Ugh, too many words Much love, all of my brothers and sisters. I love all of you.
Wow! I admit that I am only (and sadly) familiar with about 10 to 15 of these Metal soldiers and trail blazers of dominant sound and presents. To all those who have came before us and some with us, you are the absolute epiteme of telling the world whose the boss of you even if it meant losing their lives in pursuit of the ultimate heaviest most expressive parent hating sound that could be. Metal first then God and everything else came after that. Some of these guys are younger than myself. I feell myself wanting to cry but that wouldn't be hard-core heavy metal. R.i.p.

I played shows with a few of these guys when my band toured and I had no idea most of them passed. I hung out and drank with a couple of them and can't believe there gone. We lost alot of talented souls.

Wow! I admit that I am only (and sadly) familiar with about 10 to 15 of these Metal soldiers and trail blazers of dominant sound and presents. To all those who have came before us and some with us, you are the absolute epiteme of telling the world whose the boss of you even if it meant losing their lives in pursuit of the ultimate heaviest most expressive parent hating sound that could be. Metal first then God and everything else came after that. Some of these guys are younger than myself. I feell myself wanting to cry but that wouldn't be hard-core heavy metal. R.i.p.

the one here that depressed me the most is Martin Ain . he was not a drinker or smoker from what I know. I think it was from his weight.?? maybe it ran in his family too -heart troubles. im a big C.Frost fan,.. I was shocked when I heard it. too young. actually looking through these now its depressing how many great musicians died too soon. and few I didn't even realize were dead!
