Awesome gift for your friends. As a law enforcement officer with 21 years' experience, many thanks!
Sure is a lot of steps in making that beautiful board! Good job to either Zoe or myself for videoing. Trey as always you did a great great job editing!
Oh were you one of camera people? Cool!
@@SoulDelSol hi Dan. Yes I do a lot of videoing. Thank you for watching and commenting. Hope to read more comments from you on more videos. Thank you again.
I live in North Carolina and have around 50 Black Walnuts on my property. I am 75 now and my Day planted just one when I was around 6 or 7. One of the trees is abound 20 feet round and 75 feet tall. Love my Black Walnut trees.
I find my black walnut all over my ranch. 😎👍
When you buffed the 105 paste, some of the paste was absorbed by the pad. Since you didn't change pads between the 105 and the 205 paste, the pad still had 105 paste on it so the full effect of the finer 205 was negated. You should always use different pads for each grit to prevent this.
it makes sense on what you said however, He may have done that without video. either way, his project is amazing! so results are still incredible.
Beautiful project. Haha I laughed when you said those northern states like Tennessee
WOW this project turned out AMAZING! I love the look of the river and how crystal clear it is. Great work as always and hope to see more like this!
Thank you Jacobb! We really appreciate it
Hiii friend ,, salam woodworkers 🤝🤝🤝
Being a veteran myself I would love to have one of these with US ARMY coins and .556 casings. Very nice work.
Nice work!! Turned out better than expected.
You are a good instructor. Easy to follow and understand. Beautiful project.
Beautiful job, appreciate your sharing the various products and tools you used, always looking for new ideas.
Great Work
looks awesome, thanks for the video
Sprinkled with freedom. Lol. I love it. Phenomenal piece there. Can't wait to see more creativity moving forward.
Halfway through, it looks awesome!!
Great job. Always entertaining and educational.
I live right next to Knoxville Tennessee and I have black walnut trees. One big one in my back yard I need to get rid of.
Send us an email! Trey@TLRDS.com
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR COUPLE MONTHS AND I LOVE IT!
Hello. This was an excellent elaborated presentation. Please do more things with the level of explanations that you embedded in this beautiful work of art. Looking forward to see more. I like the way you show everything including the measurements, sand paper , and name of your products. Please do not change you detail style of explanation in your future works.
Rianos Rustics here in western North Carolina I use black walnut all the time, charcuterie boards, keepsake boxes, whiskey and glass totes, my favorite wood
Those are so cool. Lots of time goes into the polishing part. Way to go.
would love to see a cutting board with pieces of deer antler in the black walnut or in old oak!! love the woodworking.
A tip for the polish bottle, drop a ball bearing or an nut into the bottle, it helps to mix up the polish better and breaks up any chunks that might be in it.
finished product looks awesome!
Beautiful and I was impressed with detail of explanation.
Nice job, came out really good. Thanks for adding more reasons for watching Triple L 😁😁
Thanks!! We strive to create all kinds of content!
Very cool, what about jazzing it up with live rounds. That seems to be the latest cool things to do. Since I really love freedom I am going to try laminating some old hand grenades.
⁰
Hope they don’t go off on you.
Been doing Apoxseefor 36 years I’m glad to see you apply it in circular motions good deal
I've been doing something else for 42 years and I just use the *Up & Down* motion - seems to do the trick just fine.
Always interesting videos, with or whitout😃😄✌👍👈
Awesome project, Just a recommendation, I noticed you clipped the corner while putting the chamfer on, but I always route the end grains first as it is the most likely place for chipping out, That way your long grain cut will cut out the chip out if it happens.... it appears your bit is much sharper than mine! LOL I may have to do one of these! I have a sawmill in North central Indiana (about 1 hours south of Michigan). Walnut is very popular and easy to come by here, I have several walnut trees and Cherry trees on my property. have a great trip when you come up this way!
I'm a little partial as well, I am a Semi-retired Officer, spent some time as a SWAT officer back in the day! I'll be fully retired December 4th 2021. Thank you for your service !
Turned out great! Yay to fishing lures. perhaps sub themes like flies, spinners, old jitterbugs etc.
Hello from Minnesota USA! Nice project!
Wow... very impressive and beautiful artwork, thank you for sharing your artwork video my friend 😍✨
freedom pills real nice
This man is more a salesman than a carpenter.

super nice!
Wow gorgeous !
That really turned out great !
Thanks Bmak
Man, that looks awesome. Great job!
Good tips.
I'm with you Braden. Great video.
Thanks Jay
Very cool project, I would suggest candle wax to fill those casings in stead of hot glue, would probably be a lot cheaper than the glue.
Very nice board. 😊❤🙏🇦🇺🐨
great vid, thanks for the awesome ideas
That is beautiful!
This is sick, holy cow!
Nice finish.
First time here. Wow! Very impressive. I’m a Barber, and part time woodworker. Would love to see something in a Barber theme.
Thanks!! We will definitely make something!
Awesom job thanks for sharing and God Bless Always
love it
Wowsers that's awesome
Love your video You explain everything very well, including what products you use and why you use them. You tell us if you made a mistake like pouring the first coat of epoxy too deep so we won't make the same mistake. looking forward to more videos. Thank You
Lets see some Camphor Wood boards!
Amazing!WOW
Nice job
Fishing lures would be great
Also nuts bolts screws /hardware
Thanks for sharing
Looks great.
Nice to see some content from Plant City. Howdy Neighbor.
Find someone in your area that reloads ammunition. They can make your shells into dummy rounds which would look great, remain safe and eliminate the issue of bubbles.
totally amazing i love woodworking.! ang galing mo pre🤩
This was beautiful work. The culture difference between countires is pretty wild though. To commemorate a Norwegian sheriffs office with bullet casings would be extremely bad taste. We're different, but the process of making cool shit is still awesome :)
You are doing it right
Building your family business and sharing what your family business does far outlays the creeps that make juvenile comments
Please keep up the good work and stay safe
it's great 👌 greetings from Veracruz-Mexico 🇲🇽
Nice work..
Parabéns, ficou perfeita!! Muito boa a qualidade da resina, sem bolhas ou falhas, e o acabamento impecável!
🤝
Very nice sir. My first video. Subscribed. I have a whole pallet of rough cut black walnut that I have been saving for something worthwhile to make with it.
Tons of black walnut in Pennsylvania
awesome job dude ;) looks amazing
Well done
2nd. Great stuff guys. Keep it up.
Hiio sir
Amazing piece awesome video. If you are still having trouble finding walnut. We are in North ga. We have some sawed and some not sawed
What a great video! So detailed and informative. Beautiful project!!
Thank you very much
Just a helpful tip. If you want to sort of seal the casings, I would put some epoxy inside them, put some tape (or something else to seal the mouth of the case) over the top, then flip them over so the epoxy cures in the case mouth. It will save you some time and epoxy doing it this way. Good luck!
great tip thank you!
Rianos Rustics- I've done those with with wine corks split in half with labels up, old rusty square nails, small sea shells a d even foreign coins
It broke my heart when you scraped the bark off.
What I would do to have a shop like this on a piece of land like that. Love the video, gotta show my love, like, subscribe, etc. Thanks for the content
Black Walnut is a beautiful wood , it has alot of uses , other then wood
So enjoy watching you guys videos enjoy the fact that it's trial-and-error for a lot of this ( saves us from some mistakes and frustrations when doing it ourselves) try putting a piece of steel on there as a straight edge when sanding up against You're a epoxy .just a suggestion thanks again rick
Beautiful! Excellent presentation with a professional ending product. I actually like the slightly protruding casings, gives it a 3D effect. Looking forward to more videos!
Awesome
Nice
It was a good video in tell I seen the Steelers banner in the back round. Go hawks
Nice board! Black Walnut is one of my favorite woods to work with, especially when it is highly figured. Living in the northeast we have access to incredible hardwoods like walnut, cherry, applewood, alder, oak, maple... If you are interested in some highly figured wood that is hard and dense get some applewood. It is incredible when finished.
Good morning
Watched Whole Video See the Wife don't always have to be on Camera lol Great Job
Try a sand-o-flex for bark removal. Clean the shell casings with methyl hydrate and scuff the casings with coarse 80x sandpaper. Epoxy is 100% mechanical bond.
Leave the board as it is much more beautiful
Yep. I a lot of respect for steelmillandco. Good channel to watch.
To avoid chipping the ends always work the ends first then the sides with the grain
Nice board. When you switch to a finer grit polish, you need to use a clean pad or you are just using the rougher grit again and not finer grit.
