- Step back in time and explore the beauty of a Navajo/Diné-inspired female hogan house in The Sims 4. While slightly modernized, this lot is still classified as off-the-grid for authentic gameplay and is rich in the native cultural representation added in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch and base game update, giving your traditional native Sims a more authentic place to call home.

i learned so much while watching this. my people are Cherokee, but i love to hear about all the native cultures i can expose myself to. thank you for the great commentary and thoughtful build.
So glad to hear you enjoyed the cultural info. I plan to make a larger version of this lot using For Rent, in case you’re interested.
Such a beautifully informative video
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great build!
Very nice build, I am excited to see more of these. I hope you don't mind me changing up these, i would love to see more of the native builds.
Thank you so much! Not at all - I would love to see what you do with them. If you have a Twitter account, please share photos and tag me (@Hyggehaven). ☺️ And thanks for the sub!
A great build and very interesting commentary thank you
Thank you- so glad you enjoyed it!
what a dope idea
Thank you! ☺️
I just subscribed. Would love to see more historical North American tribal nation builds!
Thank you! I have some ideas, just trying to work out a balance between real life and YT. 😉
Also! The only thing I noticed, as a Plains native like the Dine who grew up on the West coast- the tapestry hung outside by the door is specifically Coastal Salish art from around Washington's coasts. The horses or mountains from the tapestry in the bathroom are Plains art, but that "totem pole" art style is specific to the non-nomadic fishing tribes and wasn't seen amongst the Plains tribes!
Definitely a blessing to have in game and a beautiful addition to the build regardless. I LOVED watching this come together and I especially loved seeing all the work you put into educating yourself on the build and educating the viewers. It truly means the world. Ahéhee'
Thank you for the feedback! All very good points and I hadn’t considered that level of detail. Thanks for watching and commenting. ☺️
I'd love a reservation! I have a Indian chief in my family line!
I have a few ideas for this but just haven’t put anything together yet. Hopefully a future project.
I started building a little reservation space inspired by the Quilleute rez in Chestnut Ridge but there's really such limited indigenous content and I don't trust any of the CC :/
