Watching a year on ❤ i own 3 dogs (never had a cat sorry 😅) one labradoodle and 2 beagles. Oldest is Pup (beagle 7 years old) and middle is Baloo (4 year old) and Frog (3 year old beagle) pup is perfect typical stubborn beagle but is an older boy so sleeps all day now , baloo is out anxious girly loves me to bits but strangers really scare her, and then theres frog! He was born with dwarfism, hydrocephalus and epilepsy. He has a brain mass which js luckily slow growing but has been causing his epilepsy ❤ all 3 are very spoilt and miss baloo is very protective of her baby brother frog he isnt allowed to go downstairs by himself as he has balance issues and can fall so baloo has taught herself if she hears him sneak upstairs while our back is turned to wait for him to come down and catch him at the bottom if he needs help 😅 she gets very mad at him and always has to tell him off for going upstairs shes like a mum telling her baby not to do dangerous things😂😂 😊

Also! The only thing I noticed, as a Plains native like the Dine who grew up on the West coast- the tapestry hung outside by the door is specifically Coastal Salish art from around Washington's coasts. The horses or mountains from the tapestry in the bathroom are Plains art, but that "totem pole" art style is specific to the non-nomadic fishing tribes and wasn't seen amongst the Plains tribes! Definitely a blessing to have in game and a beautiful addition to the build regardless. I LOVED watching this come together and I especially loved seeing all the work you put into educating yourself on the build and educating the viewers. It truly means the world. Ahéhee' <3

when i play sims i mostly choose a painter career because you can also paint for money so why not give them a career in it too! or sometimes i do the interior decorator sometimes but its super glitchy!!

So much more exited for this pack with that gameplayer trailer. This EP look like it is very player friendly, it does open many doors for any future pack and the gameplay. Great explanation too, I missed some things that you've pointed out 🙃🙂

Well, as expected, they won't be introducing mixed rental and commercial lots 🙈 But I daresay that the tools are already there, we just need a new checkbox for commercial units underneath the "house unit" one. Hopefully some modder will make it possible... I'm also curious to see how to move in your family from other households, as they apparently seemed to have done with "Auntie Thi".

That elevator aspect for gameplaying with (big) appartements was the first thing that came to mind as I saw this mini trailer with the amount of rental units. It's so weird that The Sims 4 team didn't think of this. I still do use multiple elevators on one lot for decoration purpose only, but it annoys me that there is no real functionality in it.

Mixed use lots is more important to me than elevators. At a limit of 6 units “officially”, I am not interested in making high rises. The City Living basically has fake elevators, it’s really just a portal. And there’s no real building.

I agree that not mentioning elevators or improving on them will be a missed opportunity. But then the Eco Lifestyle Pack had apartments without elevators.

I so desperately want mixed residential and commercial lots for my decades challenge, but I know they won't be possible with this EP. But still, the fact that they called it "residential rentals" leaves some hope that there's more planned in the future. Or maybe the amazing modding community will be able to make something like that possible with this EP...

The elevator callout is fair. I was also hoping for spiral stairs. And I was also thinking about multi unit vacation rentals, which (surprise surprise) is what a hotel is lol. So crossing my fingers that will come soon 🤞🏽
