Never a need to apologize to anyone, Mario (except your wife when needed!). We are blessed to have you sharing SUPERB diagnostic information with us.

    Damn dude!!!
I wish I had you working on my Range Rover Sport!!
People like you are not easy to find.
You know your stuff and you’re doing an amazing job.
Never be sorry for “talking too much” because you are helping those that need the help.
    The more information the better.
I loved this video and how you explained everything so you’ve just gained a new subscriber here 👊🏼

Don't apologise for talking. Sharing your experience and thought processes is really valuable. I found it Interesting the different programming capability of different aftermarket tools.

I for one have no problem with your going in depth on how you find the problems. Nobody knows it all and many people can learn from you. Thanks, Tom

Even though we did not see your figuring out what is the issue, I thought your explanation was excellent! (This shows you understand what is wrong and where to go from there) Sorry to hear about your injury. All the best and get better soon Mario.

Man that was a good catch. I like the topology on these scan tools. I like seeing the modules greyed out on the scan tool rather than not seeing it on the scan tool like autel does or even vw odis oe tool. At least it reminds me that there could be other module not talking. Sometimes i missed a couple of modules because my autel doesnt talk to that module when im diagin.
Mario there is no need to apologize for anything, thanks for the info you bring, sometimes we may talk way too much at times because in my case im trying to give the most info i can when im talking to my manager or even the owner. This is what we do for a living. Keep doing what youre doing. This is why you are now the “Top Don” (pun intended) 😂. Greeting from San Marcos TX ✌🏽

Was there no way to decode the RPO(or is it PRO) code tag on the door jam or glove box, or whereever it is on a range rover, to help you determine what is and isn't installed on a particular vehicle

Good day Mario, what if I have a good can signal, but I’m unable to communicate with the ECM it’s on a Toyota Avalon 2005, the engine runs fine. But I can get speed signals and coolant temperature on the combination meter, i think those signals are communicated through K -Line

Great one as always. I got some dumb questions.😎About the chassis module.Assuming all the damage to the module is only those 2 chips. what if you replace them with new ones. Will it be possible to do the programming to this module? Or even better, if you find the same Range rover with the same chassis module but undamaged..And in this case, do you think its possible to use ECU programmer to read from the good module and then write to the repaired module, the one that have the 2 new chips installed. Hey , sorry for the dumb questions 😎👍But this stuff is encouraging🔧

It would all depend on the customer approving time to try those things. Other factors would include but not limited to: module availability, warranty concerns, time and tooling it would take to get the job done, cost vs gain should be determined fairly quickly using experience to make the judgement call to approach the customer with the best course of action.

Yea, an owner with those skills would try something like that (like myself on my on RR) but I would not try it on someone else's vehicle. The IC's will most likely not be available to desolder and solder to the board. For replacements, sometimes the modules have to be virgin unless you have some software to wipe a used module.

Is there a common leak point on these?

I feel the same way when I talk too much lol anyways, nice job as usual. How do you like that getac tablet?
Range rovers have a lot of electrical issues I've heard. Haven't had the opportunity to work on one yet.

What is a generator control module? And the code is POA1A.. anybody knows to answer this. I would really appreciate your knowledge. I have a 2011 range Rover HSE sport and my air suspension no longer makes noise in the car. Dropped all the way down to the lower level in my terrain with blink and then what would come on the screen? Is suspension fault now? If I didn't know any better, I would think that it's the air suspension compressor because it used to make noise. Now it makes no noise at all. So if anybody read this please and have some knowledge. Could you please tell me what you think this might be but that's the only code that showed up

Mario the point of the video Don’t buy a Range Rover 😂 thanks for sharing. I’m still pursuing my electronics learning. Man there is a lot to lean plus master the tooling. All your videos are useful. 👍

Real issue is Range Rover!! Total absolute JUNK!! Had a small snow storm a few years back, local dealer had 80+ vehicles towed in for drive train failures! They're pretty but definitely not Toyota Land Cruiser quality!
