It’s Saturday morning and I have nothing to do so I am going to watch every Jonsey video.
This is probably his funnest interview. Fred’s always a real hoot . 🤘🧐
Sooo glad we didn't lose Jonesy! I am almost same age. Hope to be hearing you still in 20 years Jonesy! Peace, My Babies, and yes Be Bop Deluxe!!!
Jonsey. You are the man!!
Love the mash up of Joe Walsh " The Eagles", The Ramones and The Sex Pistols! Great show as always!
The guy in the background absolutely dying at the Queen joke at 10:54 is the funniest thing ever
Johnny Blitz did really cool high to low tom drum fills on Sonic Reducer.
Dean Rane I can't believe they missed In the Air Tonight!
So glad to have found these interview. What a great guy honest is
Ohh lord this is what I needed tonight, much love Jonesy, pure joy;
Yes, I understand the apprenticeship concept.
Perhaps Fred needs to pilot a show where he works a hard labor job 😜
We LOVE You Jonesy! Your our MENTOR, And a real Mate 🧉 To us ALL... Long Live The BOX!! 📦📦📦 Best Show. From 12:00-1:00 FRIDAYS!! LIVE FROM THE VIPER ROOM... ON 95.5 KLOS Stay healthy for us, Cheers 🥂
Fantastic! Jonesy i love you!
Jonesy's Jukebox is the best show on KLOS and should be on everyday not just Fridays! Great to see and hear him back Great Work Steve!!!!
Wow the crowd was SOOOO exciting , I could really feel their energy jumping through my screen.
Wetdewlap trying to work out whether that was a sarcastic comment or not.. lol.
Love jonesys jukebox
Happy stints soul brother!
Pretty Vacant, OMG, this is Gold .
Steve recaptured his sound from the Sex Pistols days and he sounds GREAT.
Brilliant
I watch this episode once every few weeks
Fun to see Jonesy being especially playful!
Just to get the chance for a wee jam with Jonesy, be pretty amazing in my book.
Fred, KISS's Making Love has a great drum fill from top to low and it sounds amazing. check it out.
you should do this show on a treadmill, ol man
it'd be fun to keep you with us for another decade
This was obviously recorded before neil pearth died. Iron maiden use that drum fill he's talking about on the songs powerslave and run to the hills it sounds good to me. But I'd agree it doesn't fit many songs.
Hours before Neils passing was announced. And their comment was one of the first things I thought about......" Oooh, that's going to be awkward".
@@guyincogneto8979 I was thinking the same but then the Fred guy said well there fills weren't like that they were more like . And he gave a bit of a demonstration. I think that helped.
Yeah, I don't think they were meaning to bad mouth Neil, it just sort of came out that way.
Marty Martin wasn't his name Peart ?
@@RB747domme maybe but I'm sure anyone who isn't completely thick will know who we are talking about.
The Lady Gaga joke made me lol...
I would be all in on a Jonesy album of acoustic covers.
At 22:00 I knew he do beatles chords 😂🤣😂🙂👍🖖🤙🏻📢🎼🎵🎶🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸❤
The isolated tracks riffing made me laugh so hard. 13:15
Jonesys a class act
Run with hounds band played the viper room and got a request to play again
Dumb internet help
Give an honest listen Run with hounds Spotify and UA-cam
When will Jonesy's Jukebox be back on KLOS?
Makin' love by KISS used the small to large fill
ken Sheeler great song
These two are like a human SpongeBob and Patrick😂
I love that Fred doesn't correct Jonesy for calling him Fred Armisten.
It’s the accent, always the extra r and the t
If they work outside, builders get up early to avoid the sun.
Unless it's winter.
@@annetta7793 Well then daylight savings time kicks in and they have to work earlier to maximize their time in daylight.
The beginning of nomeansno body bag has one of those. It's only 3 toms though.
I always KNEW his name wasn't spelled right... it's actually ArmisTen!
I guess Rick Rubin doesn't get it.
The Californians:)Now get on the Marina Freeway and let it toss yer ass off on Lincoln,Stewart!!:)
Steve looking rather Nautical&Fred rocking the Flannel:)
El Centro is the best stealth road onto Sunset.Modell told me back in the day:)
dont think ive heard "beat on the brat" get harmonized before LOL
Bowie is the best. Amen.

This better cure my hemorrhoid
Joe Walsh and The Ramones. Both from Queens and both said, "How ya doin'?"
@Jeff Baker how ya doin
Great to see him back. Still carrying a bit too much timber though.
Jonesy’s the best!!
"Hungry Like the Wolf" has a nice high to low tom run.
Can’t mention them to Jonesy despite John Taylor. Anymore than Peter Gabriel or Flock of Seagulls’ I ran
🤜💗🤛
They start that early so they can get home faster because 8 hrs has to be worked so you can have 40 hrs at the end of the week my friend
"A lot of it gets conscrewed" lol
Kringe Worthy construed, rather than misconstrued. Or, in Jones case, yes conscrewed.. lol.
"Be decent"
Who knew Fred Armisen didn't know how to make an A-form bar chord.
Jonesy looking very French... Oooh la la!
Or a bank robber
@@Reprodestruxion 'SWAG'
Someone educate me, why do they edit out the songs? Can they be seen somewhere else?
ok, later on they show some, but earlier in the video they seem edited out.
Joaquin Phoenix laughing at 11:00
Proof or just sounds like him? Was he there, that’s hilarious; Good ear if so
Fred is pure Hollywood...... never saw Portlandia.
Jonesy dressed like a god damn mime
and he hasn't seen the ken Burns country doc. He totally dismissed it. Douche..
@scott matthews I'm just saying he's a big netflix guy and a music guy. That was like THE music doc not to miss a few months back. Found it odd
Imagine by Lennon
Paul Stanley Could not hear you.😅
Turkey trail honey bee farm Georgia Haha!!! Just thinking the same
Was this filmed after the passing of neil peart?
duck brewster , I saw on FB that it was 1/10, three days after Neil passed. So very strange they didn’t at least give a shout out and RIP since they mentioned Neil.
looks like a bunch turtles mating
How in the world do my videos get more views than Jonesy from the Sex Pistol's channel! The dude is a legend!
Probably because kurt cobain is more popular than Steve jones&the sex pistols, &most of your videos are about kurt,I'm 48yrs old &have been a kurt&Nirvana fan since I was 18yrs old,I saw them play in Sheffield in 91,I also love steve&the sex pistols(which is why I watch jonseys show)💜🇬🇧

Love the Alex Harvey shirt Jonesy is wearing...
Jonesy, remember them Parisian punks, did one leave his shirt and hat at your squat,
Is that the same Viper Room on Sunset? I thought they closed it when River Phoenix died on the the doorstep (speedball) no disrespect...Johnny Depp (club owner) said get this piece of shit of my doorstep as he was O/D ing (Didn’t know who he was). I’m from the east coast. Only been in LA a couple times. They should close that club. I’m more of Roxy guy anyways. Stand by Me was my s***. Shout out to River RIP
Still open to this day, Depp doesn’t own it anymore
why SHOULD Rick Rubin like Bowie...... it makes sense..... I mean, what does Rick Rubin know about Art Rock ???
👏👏👏👏👏👏
cutting when Fred talks about apple is in disguise, but I saw it, iphone sucks
Building structures takes a lot of time and effort. Not sitting on a stool flapping your gums talking about avoiding work. Lol
Kevin Allen Joke, as in kidding, as in not being serious.
I love you Jonesy, but do your research man...
Neil Peart (Rush drummer) died of brain cancer recently. 😣
Christo Guichard this recorded just before Neil died.
Shut up nerd
Wack Attack!
Jonesy AOK, this other guy who is ok pretending to know and tell something that is inaccurate, is a little off.
250txc I feel the same
so set up???
I don’t get Fred .. no hate just don’t get it .. .maybe like Rubin does t get Bowie... I get Ricky gervais at the golden globes... more then just fun... it was comedic genius .. in my opinion of course...
Jonesy looks to be the heaviest he's ever been. At 64 years old he should lose weight considering his recent major heart issues.
Rick Rubin is the most overrated producer ever.
From The Beastie boys to Johnny Cash and everyone else in between, that's a wide range so I think his producer resume says otherwise.
He was one of the best Hip Hop producers in the 80's, in my opinion. Up there with Larry Smith.
markyncole those Cash albums were just exploiting an old man at death’s door, they produced a few good tracks, but that wasn’t because of Rubin, it was because of Cash. Jakob Dylan detested the solo album Rubin Produced for him and he regretted listening to others who suggested Rubin produce his album and many other artists didn’t like working with him either including Tom Petty. A broken clock is right twice a day, so he was bound to have a few decent records which catapulted his career, but then the hype set in and so did the complete overrating of him as a Producer. Now, Steve Albini on the other hand, is miles ahead of Rubin as both an engineer and producer and he’s a lot more down to earth and doesn’t love the smell his own farts like Rubin.
do anybodie kno my unkle jame he is work at they wallmart he do good him is not got no shoe do any1 seen him
delphin bringsby what kind of word salad is that?
@@RB747domme said he blork work at they wallmart he wan shoe black boms he say go way do u is said can u is seen him their
Pistols were my favorite one hit wonders of all time. I was 18 when Bollocks was released and there is still nothing like it. I’m of the opinion that there were really less than 10 actual punk bands ever and certainly none after 1980. The Pistols and Ramones were at the top of that list and although I love everything the Clash did they were more than just punk. Jonesy is a treasure.
Presume you mean one hit in America because they had a few in the uk
urbanosprey I’m sorry I was unclear, they had a few hit songs in America also. I was referring to one hit album not one song I love every song on the album.
One hit??? That whole album is amazing
@@jeffstewart4162 absolutely, I was talking about the whole album as one hit. Just one album and done. Every song is a gem, no argument here.
🤣🤣🤣
Fred stick to comedy
nice try funny boy
Actually, there's plenty enough people who think that Bowie was a phony and the Stones are overrated.
I say Bowie was a phony, but the Stones are not overrated. The Stones are superb.
Haha they both did the same stuff, super high, inspired, put stuff together in ways it hadn’t quite happened, and don’t even get me started with regard to their respect of the plants. Bavid Dowie takes many to a different world, go somewhere you can dance, turn on Bowie’s Let’s Dance relatively loud, and try not to move to the beat as you listen, it’s unique.
@@mirrorperson1744 Hey, man, I don't mean to rain on your parade, and Bowie means a lot to me (to say the least), BUT "Let's Dance" only became the masterpiece that it is thanks to this great man - ua-cam.com/video/XaIx_FBk4-Q/v-deo.html
.
Michael George everyone on the planet knows that the album only became a mainstream success because of Nile. It's not exactly new knowledge. But Bowie's input in the record was still important, as he wrote or co-wrote most of the sun's, and had the ideas for the songs, before Niall introduced various dance-jazz related styles that Bowie happened to like. There was a 2-hour documentary on Bowie which aired shortly after he died with the entire album story and Nile Rodgers being interviewed.
Why are two drummers playing guitar?
fred needs to find a different hair person
I enjoyed Bowie at one point but it became trite to me soon enough. No, I don't like Bowie. I do, however, think Steve Jones has still got it going on and he should play something for us every day!
0.0
I too detest Bowie, he is a fraud, pretending he's an intellectual, all part of the 'act' - I like Rick Rubin even more after this.
Rick Rubin is the hack after def jam and trying to dumb down sound in music
I hate the Shitles, dont give a toss to the Stones, not a bit curious enough to try and listen to Bowie. And last but not least, how the fuck is The Ramones the so called "epitome" of punk; why, how ????
