I think since this is the first of it's kind, it's best to wait for other competitors to release their own version so that we have more competitive pricing and options for consumers. At $1999, it's overpriced imo, and i know they can very easily lower that by a few hundred dollars if they need to.
Very true. However I think their target consumer is different. I think they are going after the brompton consumers hence if compared to a brompton electric the alps is cheaper. 😃 😊

Yep. The camera is good once i figured out how to frame for 360 cameras. The bike is great for travelling all over sg. I just wish the speed consistency was there.

Thinking of riding this to my office, around 30km 2 way. Not sure if can last that long without having to charge

Based on my weight and the battery power remaining it's likely able to have enough juice for the 30km+ ride if u are within this weight range. You can also check with raintree & ensure u go for a test ride. Yes this is a very nice looking alternative to the brompton electric.

Theoretically yes as it rides almost like a bicycle. I managed to get it to 28km/hr without pedal assist. But I am not sure about the legal issues as it is considered an ebike and the speed limit is set to 25km/hr. For travelling at 35km/hr it is still better to go with a pure bicycle in my opinion.

Good feedback. Just the 33km /charge due to small battery as compare to other cheaper models that ranges from 50 to 120 km.

Hi! Given this is a 7 speed ebike, would one be able to use pedel with assist and say travel at 35km/h, even if the assistance is only to 25km/h?
