@@grabadventures yes haiz I at the deliveroo pin error part not first time quite common in roo. Also to add on, for riding in rain just try to control speed also slow down instead of sudden braking to prevent falling down due to skidding. Thanks for the great content this year, looking forward to 2024 and hoping someone brings in a mid-drive e-bike with a step-through frame. Have a happy new year!
yea well snow is one of those things that may sound fun at first but is actual hell when its a reality. definitely harder to deliver in snow compared to rain

Getting worse .. next year will not be better .... the only xmas present from rooo is that they turn off the pin code acknowledgement. all the best in Season 4 bro..
I think next year is going to be a very important year for roo coz of the cof implementation. As much as I dislike the way roo is operating now i hope they don't exit the market suddenly.
Hello Gman, i'm doing roo as well on bicycle.... but may i ask. I don't get the part about them turning off the pin code acknoledgement... wat does dat mean?
@Firgucci there is a random 2 digit code from certain customers which we need to get from them and enter before we can complete the delivery. On xmas day i think it was turned off.
Mostly i find that deliveroo doing this 2 digit code thing is quite troublesome and a hassle to do it as sometimes we could not get to reach customer to ask for 2 digit or maybe some elderly ppl which they don't know what isit mean't for.... but all in all is still okay... distance sometimes rabak when they give u very far distance.... can pengsan leh🤣🤣🤣
Too much mileages put on your bike and your knees. Earning of $11/hr is kind of average. Anyway, hope you have a better outcome in the coming 2024. Happy New Year!
@@grabadventures food delivery is not an easy job, it puts lot of strains on your knees. Take good care of your knees. I ran and biked a lots when I was young, I am close to 60 now and can only walk as my knees are not as good as before.
@modhua4497 I understand completely. The days that I have left are shorter than the days I will be around. It does add a lot of perspective about looking after yr health.
Hi bro. First if all just to clarify I only work as a delivery rider on a part time basis. Usually after my full time job is over and on weekends and public holidays. In amswer to your question on average on grabfood it's 3 orders whereas on deliveroo it's 2 orders per hour.
@iaintnoexpert thank you for the compliment. I am happy you find the videos useful. If u need any other info don't hesitate to contact me. You can also join the telegram group if you want for tips and advice from other riders. t.me/grabadventure
I do feel you bro when i online with roo when received the order reach to the pick up point the staff tell me the order don't have received super leche have to contact roo cs or cancel the order
roo is ridiculous now. I am motorcyclist doing in Yishun. Ask to pickup at woodlands and drop back in Yishun. That's 12km for only $7. Even for motorcycle, thats a joke.
There seems to be something seriously wrong with the way jobs are allocated now. A number of pickups is from another area, collect and deliver to the area I am waiting at. That's like twice the distance but I get paid only for the return journey. I wish i could do this when I buy flight tickets. Only pay for the return fare 😆
Roo give ridiculous distance. Imagine as a cyclist, we are assign orders that are more than 6km. Back to back some more. Not everything about Roo is rosy. It is not for those faint hearted. Panda at least give reasonable distance within your zone.
I always know roo distances are longer but the distances that day is totally out of sync for an ebike rider. Recently i have been thinking about panda. The onky thing holding me back is the booking of shift.
I love food delivery platforms so much, I am gonna be generous and give them a solution for free how to afford the cpf contributions to younger workers: 1. Lower the fare given. Every order you save a bit then you use this to pay them as cpf. They will be so grateful they kneel down and cry with tears of happiness. 2. Make them run longer distances for the same fare. 3. Cut their fares a bit more and if they meet say 2000 orders in 3 mths, then give them AWS or pension using these savings. Hope some don't make the quota and you say terimah kasih for saving you from having to pay them that incentive🤭 They will think its like full time job. 4. Don't worry, many will just say Bo Bian as they have surrendered since 1980. Just kidding. But you get my point😅 many Lan Lan one. They will find all imaginable excuses to avoid confronting the issues. Self Preservation = a pile of loose sands. The Mob has no power.
Roo is the smallest among the 3 platforms. Plus it is hard to activate an account with them due to the waiting period. I know there is a significant portion of grab and panda riders who keep it as a standby platform when fees, incentives are high or when they are unable to get orders on their primary platform. There is also a dedicated portion of riders who know how to maximize their earnings in specific zones who do roo full time.
@@grabadventures cos if given far locations many may accept it out of Bo Bian. I am not saying they intentionally do this. Its politically incorrect to say so. But you get the point.
