What a tough & scary place to hunt Aaron. I bet that swamp area was full of snakes. I’m not a big fan of poisonous snakes. I usually carry a pistol with some snake shot bullets when I’m in dense areas in the summer in NC. I’ve walked up on a few in my days back in Wake County. That Deus 2 should come with Super Glue or a roll of duct tape. I will stay with my Manticore. Haven’t been able to get out lately. Too damn hot for me. Thanks for the video. 👍
@@dougsnyder8963 I detected in that swamp this past weekend. We’ve had to rain, and high temps for a few weeks, so it did up. Extremely muddy, but full of relics!
Enjoyed having you out with us😃 yes the remote on the D2 has always been a major pain!! But after you install your Clip system, you shouldn’t have many issues afterwards! In my eyes, the performance and light weight makes up for its shortcomings. I look forward to getting back out there soon and hopefully we don’t get a bunch of rain.
Good digs! If that 3d printed one breaks, I think it's Ultimate Finds that makes a mold injected model, very very strong. As you get more time on your D2, consider leaving the pod in your pouch or pocket, it makes the detector even lighter and easy to stick into brushy areas.
That 9” coil makes a huge difference when detecting in the brush, I’m glad I got it. That 3D printed piece solved the issue, and made it pretty solid. Thanks for the input Josh! 👍
@NcDirtHunter The Manticore is a GREAT machine! But start using Full Tones pretty soon you'll start hearing the incredible amount of information you get through the audio. That and you can swing that 9" coil with the remote in your pocket for DAYS it's so light haha
@@vetsdigbeeps I’ll check out Full tones on it. So does that setting give more detail to the tones? One thing I noticed is that I definitely want the iron sound turned up, it’s way too quiet.
You need that locking cage Ive seen for the RC box. Ill send you the link when I find it again
Cool!
