wow the history that you are on, no telling may be on the inside of that hole. Thanks for sharing
love the thimbel, it should have a number on it . The only one i have found is just like that, missing the top and has an 8 on it. Great find.

I’m from eastern North Carolina Jacksonville. Didn’t get in to detecting till I moved down to Charleston.

Fantastic machine I have the pro the elite is multi iq not single selectable it's as good as my nox 700

It’s brutally hot, but I’m still out detecting. I wear a backpack that just holds ice water. It does tend to kick your butt by the end of the day 😄

Nice👌🏼 for me the depth gauge is absolutely no big deal when making a digging decision on any machine. The reason being is in a really trashy area like you’re in on the video. Most of the targets are going to be shallower if they move the soil around quite a bit, so you’re gonna want to explore most targets with a good VDI. However, if you hear a really faint whiskey signal with a good VDI it’s a no-brainer. You definitely want to explore that. The more you used the D2 better you will get at it. however, it would’ve been nice to at least have it on the machine. 👌🏼
@@paulblanton1793 I can say that the more I use the D2, the more comfortable I am with it. That 2D screen on the Manticore does set it above other machines. It certainly helps you dig less trash in a day. 👍

@@oldpelon i use a thin, drawstring backpack, so the frozen bottles feel great on your back while you’re detecting. It’s very over 100 around here too, but I’ll metal detector in any weather 😂
Hello great Video the deus II has a bar on each side of the id ferris on the left side and non-Ferris on the right side the more full, the bar, the shallower the target. You can also go by the tone, the fainter, the tone the deeper the target And this is controlled by audio response. I think the default is 4 The higher the number the louder the deeper targets are.

Dude!!!! That fuse is a fantastic find. Thanks for all the info on the fuses too Aaron. I learned something new. 👍 My favorite places to dig for CW relics was in the woods like you are in with pine straw all over the ground.
@@dougsnyder8963 Thanks Doug. It can be really hard to move around in the woods. Just think of the relics that are hidden under brush and fallen trees that will probably never be found.
@@NcDirtHunter Exactly. I remember finding my oldest coin, a 1775 one real, in an area that I had hunted over and over for years. It was in a pine straw area right up against a small pine sapling. Had I not come in at that exact angle I would have missed it. So many things we miss if you don’t cover every inch.
@@dougsnyder8963 Yep, we cover very little when you look back on your gps. I firmly believe that no property is ever “detected out”.

Believe it or not, these are about three totally different spots. The last two videos in the swamp are one location, but several others that are unrelated have swamps too. It’s a good problem to have 😄
