Over the past few years I have seen several videos about many types of camping stoves or home made stoves, but yours is the most beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
At first I thought this was a simple wood-gas stove, and it is. but just the little bending of the holes and the cut-out bowl makes the flame so much prettier. I have to do this to my own home-made stove now. Thank you for this video, I'll have the coolest stove when bush-crafting now :)
Thanks for watching the video. Just bending the secondary combustion hole will result in this type of flame. However, a fire ring is always required as well. Build your own stove and see this flame, you will surely be satisfied.😄🔥
Hello. Thanks for your comment. It's hard to see flames rotating, so I just kept looking at them. I will do my best to show you my wonderful flame again.😀
Simple build, accessible, calming voice over, beautiful slow motion video. I love this! I am curious if an clay pot of the right size would work similarly. It would have the benefit of heat retention and radiant heat more efficiently.
Hello. thank you for positive comments. The material is clay pot which is very unique. It also has heat storage properties which is nice. I don't think there will be any problems with clay pots as long as they have secondary combustion holes.😄
This is awesome! Of course the simple idea of angling the ventilation holes is brilliant and may be applied to other similar stove designs, I imagine. Thank you for sharing your stove build. One thing that many people don't account for is the correct direction of spin of the incoming air, which you got correct. In the northern hemisphere the Coriolis Effect is in the counter clockwise direction. Beautiful engineering with the cut bowl.
Thank you for your nice and valuable comments. It encourages me to make more videos. It's the Coriolis force, the force of bending. It would be a wonderful sight if the rings of flame appeared continuously. I still don't have any ideas on how to do it structurally. But thank you very much for your valuable opinion. That gives me a lot of motivation.👍👍👍
@@camp2476 From what I have seen on UA-cam a smoke ring generator could be used to blow a ring of propane vapor. Let that ring travel a certain distance away and then ignite it a a safe distance away from the device that generates the ring. I do not know what the safe distance is. Please be careful to keep everyone including yourself safe. Maybe some other kind of flammable substance such as smoke could be used. I think it could be a really cool thing to build especially if the ring stayed on fire for a considerable distance.
Hello. I see, your advice has helped me get an idea. The smoke ring replaces flammable gas and ignites it. The sight of the ring's flames occurring continuously is a sight to behold. Let's develop a plan to make it a reality someday. thank you for the advice. My dreams are expanding.🤩
@@camp2476 I believe different smokes might at burn at different rates. Perhaps controlling how fast oxygen gets to the fuel might make the flame both more controllable and make the flame last longer. Good luck.
Hello. Thanks for your comment. Propane gas has a blue flame, so it is completely combusted. I don't think secondary combustion is possible. The secondary combustion flame this time is orange and has not completely burned. Therefore, the unburned gas is burned as secondary combustion.😀
Thank you very much for your nice comment. It encourages me to make more videos. I will do my best to make videos that will make you all happy and pleased.😄🙏
Hello. Thanks for your comment. It's amazing how the flames rotate and weave together inside the glass tube. I would like to implement your advice someday. Thank you for all the good smiles!!!😄
Very pretty. I think it would be nice to discover why the flames coming out on farside are 180 ° from the direction of vortex. Get all the fuel moving in same direction and see what happens.
Hello. Thanks for your comment. You have great powers of observation. You notice that at the exit of the secondary combustion hole, the flow momentarily flows in the opposite direction (180°) to the vortex. This occurs when air hits the protrusion created by bending the secondary combustion, creating turbulent flow (swirlpool) behind it. Therefore, at the exit of the hole, the direction of the vortex is momentarily reversed. After that, it flows in a spiral direction. Another observation is that only air is coming out of the holes, and the flame is occurring between the holes. It's interesting if you look closely.😄
Hello. Thank you for your encouraging comments. I mainly provide information on the camping category, but I will continue to create videos that will make you and others more happy.😄

Heya, a friend of mine shared this video with me cause he thinks its pretty cool - I had the idea to gift him as a present for his birthday everything he needs to recreate this. Im just a little confused with the oven - I wondered if maybe, if u already put some reasearch in it, if you could gove me advice on what to order (online) to rebuilt this. If not absoloutely no worries! Just thought I might try and ask :)
Hello. Thank you for your comment. This is made from a paint can. It takes time to buy materials, tools to process them, and most importantly, to make them. Therefore, you can create a tornado by simply bending the hole in a commercially available secondary combustion stove. Please watch this video for reference. Stoves are also sold on Amazon USA, etc. Try searching for "Solo Stove". (sorry if you are not USA) Video that makes a tornado ua-cam.com/video/63_ol5SF2nc/v-deo.html

Thanks for your comment. I'm glad he saw my video and liked the stove. And it's great that you tried to get information for him. Your comment gives me a lot of motivation.😄👍
Thanks for your comment. secondary combustion flame tornado means in English...You don't need to think about the meaning too much. There is no word for fire like this in Japanese either. Secondary combustion, flame, tornado (rotation) That's OK...😅
Hello. Thanks for your comment. Of course, you can also use this stove with the included attachments to boil water with a kettle or cook with a frying pan. This stove allows you to cook, keep warm, and enjoy the flames.
@@camp2476 I'm sorry - I understand that it is in practicality still a "fire" and can be used as such, but I am not seeing anything that this may do additionally, such as: 1) does it make the fuel burn more efficiently (eg, offer higher/hotter flames for less fuel), or are there other advantages that are beyond the beauty? I'm trying to understand this from a scientific and efficiency advantage perspective.
This stove is not intended for scientific pursuit of combustion efficiency. This is simply a stove used for outdoor camping. The gas that was not burned in the primary combustion can be re-burned in the secondary combustion, and then it just rotates. Home wood stoves use secondary combustion and tertiary combustion using catalysts to maximize combustion efficiency. Please understand that the stove I made is just a tin stove.
@@camp2476 thanks for clarifying. It is beautiful, but I try to keep my eyes open for efficiency enhancing options or things that have innovative use scenarios. Appreciate your sharing!
You have a lot of inquisitiveness, which is great. One more thing about my secondary combustion stove: I think the rotation of the flame increases combustion efficiency a bit. In an internal combustion engine, a cyclone is used to supply gasoline and air, and its rotation increases combustion efficiency. A cyclone type vacuum cleaner also improves suction power. Rotation increases your potential. Unfortunately, there is no scientific data on my stove.😀

Good luck.
Thanks for the further advice. I will do my best.😀
Great rainy day project 👍🌧️🛠️🔥
Thank you for your nice comment. Drilling was done in heavy rain. Thank you for noticing this effort.😄
I love that the subject of the video is FIRE TORNADO!! But the voice and music is so calming and the fire is actually quite pretty
Thank you for your nice comment. It motivates me to create videos. I will do my best to share more wonderful tornadoes.
Amazing, beautiful job! Greetings from the UK
Thank you for your nice comment. it motivates me a lot.😄
Very beautiful! I wonder if secondary burns can be achieved on propane fire tables?
Hello. Thanks for your comment. Propane gas has a blue flame, so it is completely combusted. I don't think secondary combustion is possible. The secondary combustion flame this time is orange and has not completely burned. Therefore, the unburned gas is burned as secondary combustion.😀
Of course Japan has all the coolest stuff. Thanks, this was a fun video!
Thank you for your comment. I felt very happy. It motivates me to create videos.😄
The 11cm opening restricts the opening to about 50% of the combustion chamber and the 10cm opening is about 40%. The difference is quite noticable.
Hello. Thanks for your comment. I see, I understand that there is a correlation between the diameter of the opening and the combustion chamber.
This is one of the most interesting things I’ve ever seen . Thanks so much.
Thank you for watching the video and for your comment. You give me a lot of encouragement.😄

I am wondering how did you come up with this idea Sir ?? This is very cool. 😀@@camp2476 😀😀😀😀
THank you for showing. I had tried something similar a few years back but it did not work as well as what you have. Congratulations.

The flame looks amazing. Wow!
That's a very nice comment. Thank you.😀

I honestly thought these were computer generated images. Very nice work!
Hello. Thank you for your nice comment. That gives me a lot of motivation.😄
I would bet that putting a glass cylinder on top of the flame rising up high would bring even more cool shapes and designs Sir. NICE !!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Absolutely beautiful ! Hats off to you sir , a true masterclass .
Thanks for the nice comment, That gives me a lot of motivation!!!😄
If this video was not under camping category, this video would have around 1M views. I mean look at that cute and beautifull TORNADO FIREEE...

What a beautiful Idea. I will make one for myself. Thank you .
Hello. Thank you for your nice comment. Please try your hand at making a stove. You can see the wonderful and moving flames.😃
(sorry if you are not USA)

@@camp2476 Thank you so much for your quick answer! That was super helpfull, Im sure he will enjoy it. Btw, he LOVED how you handcrafted this oven, he was completely head over heels in love with the tornado, just wanted to let you know, your craftship is very much appreciated :))🙏
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad he saw my video and liked the stove. And it's great that you tried to get information for him. Your comment gives me a lot of motivation.😄👍
This is great for practicing Japanese. Only problem is that I don't even know what secondary combustion flame tornado means in English 😅
Thanks for your comment. secondary combustion flame tornado means in English...You don't need to think about the meaning too much. There is no word for fire like this in Japanese either. Secondary combustion, flame, tornado (rotation) That's OK...😅
Kamikaze
Hello. Thank you for watching the video. It's a flame that has some kind of sacred power!🔥

I like fire 🔥 this is very beautiful fire 🔥
Hello. thank you for positive comments. It encouraged me to make videos. your icon is cute PikaPika!☺
Very interesting. Aside from the beauty, is there a practical or functional purpose for this?
Secondary outlet? I wonder if this gave the fire a smokeless flame?
It is common knowledge that secondary and tertiary combustion in a bonfire stand or wood stove will result in complete combustion and no smoke.🙂
