Everybody trying to get ppl to come to church but nobody is trying to get ppl to come to Christ!!! We the people are the "church" and the body of Christ so if ppl are not living a holy and acceptable life before God going to church "the building" profits us nothing😢

I'm just saying that the message should include not becoming like "the world" even as we, Christians, relate to the world and must make ourselves approachable. When you give your tithes & offerings to a church, the result should not be, that some members of the church are so poor, some even homeless & there being, some members of that same church being very wealthy. That is not God's will. I never hear any preachers, preach on this. This should also apply to ministries, when people give, everything after the outgoings, should be divided up between the givers.

Honestly he threw shade at rappers who use the money from their own pockets and donate and give to charities and who don’t profess Christ...while he runs a non-profit, tax exempt church organization which should be giving to charities hence the tax free exemption status and it is the money of the community that he donated to Bahama relief and not his own personal money which he does pay to strippers and whores : case and point his many child support and stalking charges 🤦🏾♀️

I just can't believe what I just heard, so Jesus Christ, even though He is God and perfectly holy, He allegedly needed to have a secular balance while He was on earth?! Are we reading the same Bible or is yours upside down?! He ate with prostitutes, tax collectors, and others who were despised and not held to a high honor but He sure wasn't seeking balance, He came to save them. He didn't do what they were doing to be considered relevant or relatable. I think this is highly blasphemous - to make God look like some sort of yoga guru telling us that we don't need to be 100% as holy and obedient as can be but that we need to have 50% of the secular world in us (and most importantly in the church) and 50% of Him at the same time. This is anti-Biblical - and what's worse is that none of these women actually disagree and hold him accountable for the damage that this is doing to the body of Christ. This is an example that these sisters haven't gone into prayer, nor do spend a great time in the Scriptures to discern what is wrong from what is right in God's eyes and ask the Holy Spirit if what had been done with this celebrity totally pleased Him; and the fact that they invited the pastor gives him another platform as if what has been done is all good. No sensitivity to the Holy Spirit gets us people who want to be relevant and up-to-date, so instead of waiting, they want to invite some people up real quick so they get more views. The fact that 156 people got ''saved'' is another topic - they openly accepted Christ - and it's great - but being a Christian isn't only about confession and having a new belief system - got too much to say on that, I won't say more. Aside from the good works which the Father had prepared for us to walk in them before the world began, we shouldn't tone down holiness and consecration in favor of carnal and secular acceptance. Jesus did all that He had to do to prove the world that they are welcome in His family, in His army, in His church. In some sense, come as you are, but don't stay as you are. Hence we don't have to play their music, we don't have to dress like them, we don't have to talk like them, nor think like them. Like the Scripture says: [...] ''and such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified''; and also "All things are lawful," but not all things are profitable; "All things are lawful," but not all edify; so these songs, though they might please our flesh, they're not there to praise God and edify us, His body, in Him. Let's stop trying to please mankind in all sorts of new ways and instead please God, to whom we owe everything.

“However it is I gotta get them in church”?? That sounds suspect to me. Makes me wonder to what extent your willing to go to do that. And do you care about those people coming to church or coming to Christ, genuinely. Those people came for what they could get (A free Kanye concert) not what they gain (their soul being set free). I’ve been coming to New Birth as a visitor for the last few years and a several times since Pastor Bryant has become pastor. I was felt he has been truly anointed and sincere in his actions up until recently when he did a sermon on tithing. Then as I watched sermons after that he would always seem to dog out people who didn’t give. So when he brought the “prosperity pastor” and Kanye on the same Sunday (apparently a coincidence) it was starting to make sense. It’s clear they need money, but please don’t use guilt and manipulation of giving to do so. Further, please don’t try to sell yourself and your good deeds as a selling point for justifying your tactics because it stinks of pride and little humility. Anytime that someone can say “I did this” or “we did that” and their is no indication of where God gets the glory,

My sister and I counted almost 100 give $1k, when that stopped coming, he asked for $500. I stopped attending after The Empowerment Temple, his church in Baltimore, when they had their 7 year anniversary and the attendees were ask to give in 7s ($70, $700, $7,000). He is a crook!!!

Dee Hive yes. The guest pastor asked for 20 people to give $1000 after he did a PowerPoint presentation on how he and a few others were able to be blessed beyond measure by giving a $10,000 offering. Then he asked for those who could give 100 to come and give it. 🤦🏽♀️ he did say if you don’t have it don’t give it (which is obvious anyway) but the whole thing was suspect

He also refers to himself as "the chosen one". In his recent performances in churches, the WORD of God is not preach or evangelized. Music never saved anyone, only the word of God can do that. See 2 Timothy 4:2-5 . Sadly the time has come when men (and women) will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Pray that Kanye seeks first the kingdom of God, studies and follows the Word of God and develops a personal relationship with the Master. Remember God is not mocked.
Do not forget that Kanye is bipolar and does not takes his meds...no shade...just fact. Just know what. you are dealing with. He needs pray not exploitation by the church.
