Lonnie looks like a younger version of Judge Mathis. I never thought Pastor Jamal Bryant would depart from his flock in Maryland. However, I understand why it was done. I know the late Bishop Eddie Long (May He RIP), would not have wanted another to Pastor the church he started. I used to watch them services all the time when he. (Pastor Jamal Bryant), Pastored in Baltimore. Them people were full of deliverance, and wanted salvation for real. His services were Holy Spirit Led, but done in decency and order. He would have these powerful Altar Calls. It was no fake shouting or none of that. Them young people were on fire for Jesus in Baltimore. In New Birth the older people are on fire, and seasoned. So this transition works perfect. God has elevated Pastor Bryant to a whole nother level in the Holy Ghost. Preach Black Man is what I will continue to say. Preach Black Man I know God has called you for a time such as this. You have The Blood of Jesus Shoes, to cast out demons and rebuke the devil.

Totally agree with everything you've said, But Correction, Bishop Eddie Long is not the founder of New Birth, so it is not possible for him to have not wanted another Pastor to pastor the church he started, New Birth was a well established church when he took it over. Did he grow it to where it is now, YES, but NB had several hundred members when they hired him from Richmond. VA... Just a little Black History Fact, since it is Black History Month!!!

That's a very sweet comment, and I understand what your intentions are in giving it, but I heard a saying one time that renders some truth and came to mind here. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". 2 Corinthians 3:17 tells us that "The Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty". It says THE LORD is that Spirit. While I see the love in the statement you made "Thank u soooo much for being you and leading us with your spirit", I also see danger in the fact that following ones spirit as if it's God's spirit, can lead one to hell. Not because they are INTENTIONALLY seeking an alternate Christ, but because they CHOOSE to cling to man and not the mediator between God and man. If we don't accept Jesus Christ and repent of our sins in this life, then good intentions won't be enough in the courts of The Most High. We can't use the excuse that we thought we were saved because we were in church so much.
"Many shall say unto Me, Lord Lord...." Those are words coming from a person who THOUGHT that they had done enough to be saved. Yet we as human beings could NEVER do enough to amount to salvation. Titus 3:5 - "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." I'm not leaving this comment in judgement, but in prayerful regards to a problem I see in the "church" culture of the body of Christ. Many cling to "church" things as if they are righteous and good in the eyes of God, but the majority of people in "church" deny the things of the SPIRIT in order to have a material relationship with God. They assume the position as tho the outward things of life are more important than the internal. They view wealth as "blessings". They see nice cars and great homes as "growing" in their walk with God. The book of Matthew tells us that a man is defiled by what COMES OUT of his mouth and not by what goes in it. This tells us that the things we have within the SPIRIT are what God sees as important. We can appear to be righteous, but be following the wrong spirit

As far as church and church goers go I have no opinion or perspective because i dont go to church. I do watch and listen to sermons on UA-cam often. I am not a person of institutionalized religion or praise. I am heavily thankful for the personal experiences I've had with Christ and His love. I am sure there is much to learn for all of us. My learning style doesnt include reading and comprehension as much as hands on real life experience/witnessing. Thank God for being able to reach anyone asking to be reached. We are truly blessed to have such access thru Jesus.
