Spirit is great, I just came from watching her other interview about compatibility, she’s really great at articulating her ideas very well. She’s brilliant.
Me too. I just came from that video. And that video was PHENOMENAL.
Me too lol!! UA-cam is working the recommendations, huh!?🤔🤣
Haha! Me too! That interview with Mel was the first I’ve ever heard of Spirit....she is pure gold!
100% brilliant. I just wish the hosts would shhh and let her talk as much as possible because everything she says is so, so helpful! ♥️
Same!
I’m a therapist and she is absolutely phenomenal.
I need you ladies to focus so we can hear Spirit's response.
Exactly
But did you see how she stayed on track during all that??
She got SKILLS!
Her words are liquid gold. Quite opposed to these women who don't have anything significant to add to the conversation so they decide to be loud just to make noise. Would've been better if they'd just shut up and actually listened to the answers she was giving them.
We need those loud mouth women to be quiet and allow this talented Spirit to deliever her responses. They keep talking over her
lollll ikr
Very DEEP...you are not the problem and your spouse is not the problem....the problem is the problem...we're a team. -Spirit....I love the advice ❤❤❤❤
Yes....made me go hummmmmm
I only just discovered Spirit about 2 hours ago! OMG! I needed her months ago! Lol! This woman is GOLD!
Same. She is exceptional. I also love Susan Winter, she is similar
Spirit is the truth 👏🏾‼️
She is! Her content has a fresh approach on relationships
Man this woman is fantastic. Saw her first on the Mel Robbins show and this is the second time.... Her words are spot on
Too noisy. Let her talkkk.
These ladies are beautiful, but not the best hosts. They kinda ruined the conversation
Please stop talking over Spirit. It's very disrespectful to have her on, ask her a question & when she is diving deep, you all speak & giggle over her fantastic advice. 🤦 I have love for all of you, let's do better.
If it is something you wouldn't do in the presence of your partner, then you shouldn't be doing it in their absence🙌👌💛
She reminds me of Julissa from a Different World. ☺️🥰
Lots of great advice! Please have her on more 😊
I came here looking for more of Spirit, whom I had heard from in another interview with Mel Robbins. She's a phenomenal counselor!
Me too.
Bring her back on the show.. Awesome
I luv Spirit.
Spirit is great 👍🏽❤️❤️❤️
Spirit has great content on relationships
Why does Quad always take ownership of an issues but quickly states it’s not me I’m just asking. I’ve seen her do this with several guest. Nobody was thinking it was you until you say it’s not me, now I do think it is you
This is so true! Lol
She is gold i like her so much i cant stop listening to her
PREACH!!!!!!!!!!! Team work makes the dream work. I love what she said about attacking the problem together. We shouldn't be attacking each other...its so annoying though when that person always has their boxing gloves on...and probably why I leave them in the ring alone - HEYYYY OHHHHH!
What a powerful woman and professional! Learned so much in these few minutes!
I'm all about Spirit's philosophy. I've always thought that way.
I learn so much from Spirit and whenever I get a MAN I'll apply it lol
Why am I just finding this channel, I feel so robbed🙃 Thank you ladies!
Girls're too noisy. I couldn't listen to Spirit. I love her ideas.
Love listening to Spirit. Thank you for sharing. Spirit has a lot of great information to share and thankful for finding out about her.
I'll miss you guys. Sad we can't have anything good on air anymore.
That Spirit is ON IT
Beautiful show beautiful women💕💕💕💕
Turn their mics down, where’s the sound guy, like lower their mics at certain times idk . it’s the sister circle so I like the real feedback, it’s just too loud and aggravating almost. Luckily Spirit has a very confident tone, and smart woman, constantly bring the convo back to focus.
One of the major problems I have with women is how they like to shame men for being "emotionally different" to them or "express emotions" to them, like for instance the woman at 6:53 - 7:05, what she means here is that he is not expressing emotions like a woman, judging a man based on how he does if he were a woman, or how men don't appreciate it when you are careless with your words, and this for me is one of the key reasons I have stopped dating altogether. Why is it not sufficient that he said to you, if you speak to me this way I don't like it, I feel disrespected, or it is hurtful, but no it is not enough women have to shame you for this as if it is a shame to say stop, this huts me.
in this conversation alone I found so many examples where these women attempt to shame men for being men or for being who they are, as if men are defective women, no men are men and women are women, stop trying to make men be women or else shaming them for being men.
Take for instance in the lady in the black dress at 3:23 - 3:32 calling a men "hyper sensitive" she says it again at 7:45 - 7:47, again repeating this idea that some men are too sensitive, I wanna know how do one decide if someone is too sensitive, if someone says to you what you are doing hurts me, or how you speak to them hurts them, who are you to say to them they are just too sensitive? You are basically saying that there is some defect with them unless they allow you to do just do as you please, women do this shit all the time in relationship and also wonder why do men not open to me? How in the hell is gonna open up to you?
SPIRI catches on this at ( 7:56 - 8:10) , that this language implies that there is something wrong with the person ad she tries to help her see that she is wrong but she won't hear it. And here is the thing women do this shit all the time.
And the woman in the blue and white dots dress at (4:54 - 5:10) at she basically says she doesn't care what or how her man eels, this so surreal yall, this how women behave in relationships. how exactly are we suppose to have relationships with women when they simply don't give shit about how we feel? How ? This is way too common
Soooooo thankful that she gave that explanation of too sensitive. I thought for a long time something was wrong with me being sensitive. So when she explained that means that person is being too much for you...BINGO 100%
That was very good & profound teaching!
Now I'm trying to support the sisters, recently started watching. No offense but yall NEED to book a therapy session for Quad. I'm seeing hurt in the majority of the interviews. she takes over, strongly believes she has all the answers. Now I could be wrong and if I am it's because of what she portrays.
She is #BlackExcellence 🌷❣✊🏾👑
Great topic
I ABSOLUTELY agree with the first lady (the one on the right hand side with polka dot dress). Don't care about his past unless he is disturbed lol but everything about the circle of our OWN relationship.
I love these sisters so much ❤
Hint, hint. Quad, you got defensive at the end. You asked a question, she gave an answer.
Quad needs some healing and one x one therapy
Tell me what you think you heard!!!
Wow.
Game changed
Communication 101 gold
Thanks! Very informative advice!!
If your partner knows your passwords, and knows where you are at all times, you’re in prison.
Orrrr...you are an open couple good at communicating? Now if they demand and control what you do, that's different.
Great advice Spirit!
This is good. Thank you!😊
Hypersensitivity and judgement or put downs COULD be a red flag, if its a pattern. These are some of the behaviors of a pathological narcissist/sociopath. If the relationship is one-sided, non reciprocal run for the hills. 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️
Check out the Little Shaman or Dr. Daversula Ramani on YoutTube for more on narcissism.
So true!
What is hypersensitivity
Ari J......Hypersensitivity: NOUN
extreme physical sensitivity to particular substances or conditions.
"hypersensitivity to common chemicals"
a tendency to be easily hurt, worried, or offended.
"hypersensitivity to criticism"
Great Advice!
y6ou already have my vote i did early voting i thank you sir
Triage first Solution later 👌
Wow!!!🙌🏾
A hit dog will holler Quad. 😒
You asked good questions but we didn't hear the answers.
I'm so confused 🙃 Why do black women in America have a totally different accent to white women who were born in the same place (city, town or whatever)? If anyone could give me an answer without insulting me it would be appreciated 🙏🏽
Super short explanation: Everything goes back to slavery. African Americans were forbidden from reading and writing and many used praise and worship, slang, etc to communicate. As a result, African American vernacular and slang was passed down throughout the generations.
Just Narinah Thank you for your kind reply 🙏🏽 The UK had slavery too, but there isn't a black accent there (as far as I know), so people's accents are based on where they were raised not skin colour 🤷🏽♀️
UTubafy yes, location plays a large role. I should’ve been more clear. You’ll notice that people from southern states have stronger accents. Slavery was more prevalent in the South. And I’m happy to have these types of conversations. They’re extremely important in our understanding and interaction with others. I’d like to point out that Southern white women have southern accents as well. So yes, you’re right. Accents have a lot to do with where one is raised, nothing to do with skin color. Vernacular varies though
Just Narinah If I heard one of the ladies in this video over the phone I would know straight away that she is black, but if I heard a British-born woman on the phone I wouldn't know her race/colour until I saw her. Do you see why I'm so confused?
The differences between whites and blacks in America seem to be greater than in Europe and the racism seems to be worse (in America) too, although that statement is just based on my observations and so might be totally wrong 🤷🏽♀️
UTubafy yea, I see your point of view. I can’t speak on the differences between the US and Europe though. However, I do believe that slavery and systemic oppression play large roles in this issue of language within the US. For example, many ppl say I speak like a white person. There are many underlying issues within that statement that reflect America’s history. Whiteness doesn’t equate to intelligence or one’s ability to articulate oneself. Unfortunately in America, many seem to think it does and on a basic level, that’s a reason why we see these disparities. (I hope that made sense... lol)
The lady sitting next toTrina....whoever’s her man is. they in trouble 😂
Quad something is raising in YOU!!!
Girl bye✋
I can never hear the guest from all the interruptions and laughter.
Quad why they keep laughing every time you raise the too sensitive question?
I believe they know she is referring to her ex husband.
Wow the lady in yellow she said ( our better half) ❤ very humble of her in a loving way... especially with the trend of feminism and empowering thing
😍👌✨
Where can I order her books?
Am all about lighting the atmosphere "ladies" this is some serious talk, pay attention and not make it as if she's telling u a joke 🤔
I was watching a true documentary this lady married this rich celebrity she was his fifth wife. Oh yes of course it was an expensive dream wedding I bet mostly she concentrate on the wedding more than she did the marriage. I was shaking my head,What the previous wives have experienced she was now experiencing. She’s 30 years younger than he is ,his eldest daughter is 2 years older than her. Women we have a false belief we can fix a man. He left his last wife at the height of her illness. One lady he married while he was committing adultery he was already married. WAKE UP ladies, If God and his mama can’t fix him neither can you
women: men need to open up and show more emotion!
also women: you are too sensitive! man up!
this segment should just be titled 'hiding your sexual history from your man'
😳😁
Sister Circle makes me gag. they are too noisy. they talk over each other. they are too noisy. too many cohosts
What a noisy bunch of hosts👎
Why everyone here is black? We are in 2020, people should stop making groups based on skin color or origin
Shut the fuck up ... go watch the View or The Real
Agreed! Segregation was supposed to have been out a long time ago. Now, it seems folks can’t wait to separate themselves into groups. So much for progress.
MASTER World Don’t be an ass! Perhaps you’re too young to remember, but there was a point in the not so distant past in which people fought to NOT be separated....now, people intentionally group themselves together in an attempt for one group to show superiority over another. Progress has flown right out the window...we’re now regressing.
Wheres the diversity?
